Horrible experience trying to adjust billing. It is a shame that a large US company has to outsource the billing department. Called to change my annual billing to monthly for security system. Gave all necessary information (account number, credit card, address, etc.) only to get continued calls about account being delinquent. Called again and gave same information. Again another phone call, this time asked for a supervisor. Still NO resolution. Continued calls waking us up and emails. After all this I called and canceled the service and went with local a company. After cancellation I got a monthly statement. Finally after talking to another department, they were able get all this mess fixed and I paid an adjusted partial monthly fee. All happy now. After all this I got another call from billing supervisor about payment. STAYING WITH LOCAL SECURITY COMPANY

This company does NOT stand by their Code of Ethics according to their website. I have been dealing with a defective HVAC unit from **** that is 2 1/2 years old. They will not take responsibility for their defective products and I would run far away from anything under this companies umbrella ! This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had with any company for anything. I am now down an additional $1,047 in repair labor and Freon on a new unit. A simple ****** search will show you exactly what their real code of ethics are !

Purchased a hvac **** unit about 2 years ago. A year into the unit being installed The coils and condenser have gone bad every single month. **** said they would only replace the unit within the first year. We spent about 15k on a brand new unit and it has never worked properly. We live in *******. It's hot. We lose air at least once a month due to the unit breaking. **** refuses to help fix this issue. It's a lemon. I will never refer this type of hvac to anyone. It's the worst company.

I have been trying to resolve an issue of my payments and 5 year term contract. I was never told that there was a term contract. Just that the email they sent me was a pricing sheet. They now insist that I'm stuck. Their reasoning for having a contract at times seems sound. If they install a new system in a business they need to be able to recover their costs for the equipment. This makes sense to me. Here is the issue. I had a service rep and his boss in my office trying to resolve an issue why Johnson Controls quit cashing my auto payments for 5 months and were sending me collection letters. We finally figured out the payment issues after over a month of back and forth. I continued to pay them. We figured out Johnson Controls changed the place they accepted auto payments. This issue finally got resolved. These gentleman acknowledged that when trying to deal with multiple departments issues arise. But, I will say eventually the sales reps boss figured out the whole payment mess and I sent in the balance of what I owed. I then reset my recurring payments. Here is the sketchiest thing I was told by the honcho I was dealing with. After explaining why Johnson Controls puts people on contracts he admitted my system was very old. So I asked if I could be relieved of my contract. He says in no uncertain terms no. I was sent a document. I signed it I'm stuck. I strongly advise anyone to take their business elsewhere.

In 2020 when COVID hit, My wife and I were franchise owners of a 7-Eleven convenience store. The rules at that time were business being closed at certain hours, being a 24 hour convenience store, we had never installed a security system for closing times. Thinking we would be closing at nights per the laws at that time we had a security system installed. Then we were deemed an essential business and were allowed to stay open 24 hours for any first responders and medical staff.September 2021 we gave up the 7-Eleven as COVID had taken it's toll and we asked if we could cancel the service. We were told we were on the hook for a five year contract and we are still paying every month for a system that we do not even use.

Im wasting my time, leaving another review about this company in the hopes that it steers others away. Their service is **** The people they have on the phone calling you when something goes wrong are typically slow, poor communicators, often speaking broken English. Not what you want when your alarm is going off at your business in the middle of the night. Now about the alarm going off, that happens all the time. The equipment they use was designed in the 60s or 70s, its all **** plastic falling apart junk. We have a couple of sensors theyve replaced a half a dozen times, at least 20 calls a year come in about the same sensors that they just cant seem to fix. Weve been with these guys for seven years or so and they are just completely enacted. Its problem after problem and theyre expensive. Finally Im frustrated enough to go look for another company. Anybody but **** or Johnson controls.Oh, another thing thats infinitely, frustrating, often times when the person calls to tell you, your alarm is sounding, they cant tell you which sensor has been tripped or if its more than one. Anyway, Im sure theres lots and lots more I can say, but the important thing is, these guys do not give a **** about you, they just want your bill paid every month. I suggest going anywhere else.

In December *************************************************************************** an order and they never followed through we had new cameras installed in Mar 23 and then tried to get in touch with them for well over 2 months to cancel. Finally spoke with ********************* a VP and was able to get the cancellation form sent to us. I then mailed the form in and thought that was the end of it. They never processed cancellation because of open work order. I then got calls abut bill when I told them we cancelled. They said they never received cancellation so I filled out another one and sent that one alone with proof that I sent the other one. They are trying to make us pay for an additional 30 days after receiving the 2nd cancellation form. They are now calling on the bill and I have emailed them and let them know we are not making another payment because of the service and the fact that we switched carriers on both our cameras, security and fire protection.

Have been waiting on a blower motor assembly to fix my 15-ton York heating and A/C unit for 4 months. Johnson keeps pushing delivery back. First it was May 8, then May 24, then June 9, then July 10! WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE THEM AT THIS POINT?!?! I am losing customers and business because I can't provide my building with AC and it's ALL Johnson Controls' fault. I am beyond livid, and am powerless to do anything because you can't even get a single person on the phone who will provide you with any assistance. Worst company ever. I'm about to lawyer up for damages. You can only use "supply chain" as an excuse for so long before you need to offer a better explanation. I hope this company fails spectacularly, but not before they get me the part I need. Just send me the CAD file so I can fabricate it elsewhere.

This company is the worst company I have ever worked with. I own multiple businesses, deal with a lot of companies. In my 40 years alive I havent been so unimpressed with a company. I would imagine its only a matter of time before they go out of business. Do yourself a favor and never use them .

If I could give them zero starts I would, this is the worst company I've ever worked with for commercial Security Systems. We ordered an upgraded system in March 2023 and we are now in the middle of June 2023, had I been made aware of the "delay" in receiving parts for our upgrade or at the very least gotten a status update frequently that would have at least been something, but we have gotten NOTHING, I am now prepared to contact our companies legal team to get us out of this contract and tell everyone in our industry to BE WARE, DO NOT get into any contracts, work with their security services, they have no service to provide, they are a SCAM. Disgusted with this company!
