My elderly mother contacted Legends Towing on 2/6/25, to get a tow from her garage to the car dealership. The vehicle that was to be towed was located in an underground lot. The tow truck operator arrived and parked his tow truck on the street, then walked into the underground lot to look at the vehicle. The tow truck operator, using a hand-held charger, jumped the battery of the vehicle, and the tow truck operator then drove the vehicle from the underground lot to the street, where he then hooked up the vehicle to the tow truck. The vehicle was then taken to the car dealership. The tow truck never, at any point, went into the underground lot.The invoice submitted for billing detailed fees for:Underground parking tow 1 $250.00 Tow 1 $50.00 Grand Total $300.00 Amount Due: $300.00 The amount of $300.00 was paid to the tow company. The tow company charged a $250 fee for an underground parking tow when the tow truck was never at any point, underground.I called the tow company on 2/12/25, and spoke to an individual who claimed to be the owner. When I asked for an explanation as to why the company charged a $250 fee for an underground tow when that service was not actually provided, the owner was openly hostile and within about 30 seconds to a minute, told me to "fuck off." During the same brief conversation, the owner said that she (my mother) paid the fee, implying that as long as she paid it, it was all okay. I would like to see the company refund $250 to my mother, and I intend to explore a small claims action to effectuate that. I am an attorney and intend to handle that court action personally.I would also like to see the BBB take action against this company, in some form or another.Thank you, ******** *****

Business claimed credit card app was down and required cash. I talked to another person who was towed by them in the past and said they told her the same. Towing charges were excessive. Invoice stated one tow charge "private property tow fee" for $200. Another charge stated "special equipment" for $200. No special equipment needed here.
