      Veridian homes bought the farm field behind our backyard. There were multiple public meeting which were attended by my husband. All the neighbors affected by the construction were against the company to cut any trees on the border. Those were ***** year old trees and created privacy and noise mitigation for ***** households on *********** *** I called the company several days before the trees were cut and kept being redirected from company to company. Finally I was told that they will try to save as many trees as they can which they did not. All we were left with was a bunch of bushes. After 11 years living in a private yard this was a devastating reality for us. While they were cutting and evening out the field our house was in a constant shaking. Not to mention the incredible noise, the machines they used ruining the local roads etc. The approach was more than outrageous to the privacy and quiet of the people living in that neighborhood.

      To Whom It May Concern:

      This letter is in response to a complaint submitted to the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin, dated June 11, 2025.

      The individual who submitted the complaint contacted Veridian Homes on June 6, 2025, leaving a voicemail for our **************** Team. Our **************** Project Manager promptly returned the call that same day to discuss the concern regarding the tree line adjacent to the complainants propertyan area that is part of our active development site.

      During the conversation, the homeowner requested that Veridian Homes refrain from removing any trees or vegetation located behind her lot, even though they are situated on property owned by Veridian Homes. Our Project Manager respectfully explained our standard development and construction procedures, emphasizing that we do not remove trees outside of our property boundaries.

      We also clarified that it is our intent to preserve as many trees as feasible near the property line. However, certain removals are necessary to comply with our approved grading plan, which is engineered to ensure proper site drainage and stormwater management. This plan was reviewed and approved by the City of Middleton.

      We understand and respect the desire for privacy and encourage adjacent property owners to install fencing or plant screening vegetation on their own property if they so choose.

      We bought a new home w/ new appliances. One of them was broken from day day and they refuse to replace it with a new one. I did not buy a home with rebuilt or used appliances.
