Very easy and accommodating company to deal with. Pricing was better than others and the technician, Chris did an amazing job. He cleaned up when he was done and thoroughly went through how the system worked. We are very happy with SWAT from start to finish.SWAT Environmental

WOW, LOOK AT ALL THESE TERRIBLE REVIEWS. Here's one --- I bought the home in 2019 and the previous owners had installed the Radon System by SWAT out of ******* **. Well, yesterday 9/3/2024 woke up to the noise of a fan needing to be replaced. $250 service call, $250 for the fan itself. I called the company FanTech -- the model they put in the house was discontinued by the manufacture in 2018 BUT YET they installed in 2019. So, now I am suppose to replace with my money -- you put in the fan that is no longer on the market. Shame on this company, then not even working with me saying 5 years expired - yes by 6 months because of older model fan. Now I have to buy the RN2. So if you use this company -- which I have red flags, make sure you check to see if they are giving you a discontinued model. This is wrong in so many ways -- suppose to be making my home safe for my children and your techs installing this HP2190Q. SHAME SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY AND SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT EVEN COMING UP WITH A SOLUTION SINCE YOUR FAULT . I would have bought the new replacement the least you could have done was install it for FREE.SWAT Environmental

Your feedback is important to us. We apologize for the issues you've experienced with the fan in your system. We did not put a discontinued fan in your system. That is just inaccurate. Please feel free to reach out to us at ************** to discuss this further.SWAT Environmental

Sounds like you got incorrect information about the fan that was used. Give us a call and we can certainly clarify that for you. As for the warranty, it is for 5 years which you are past so yes you would need to pay for the fan and the labor of our technician. Sorry you feel our technician should work for free.Review fromAlwyn L

Had the system installed three years ago and the fan is failing already. It is under warranty but they charge an exorbitant $250 service fee to come out and look at it. It is cheaper to buy the fan myself and have someone else install it.....that is a ridiculous cost for someone to just come out...especially when parts are failing long before they should. Buyer beware and read some. More of these reviews.....there seem to be many of them.SWAT Environmental

Sorry you feel that way. We do have to pay our Technician's for their time and materials. You won't find a cheaper solution to replace your fan and a professional to do it correctly. We ask every customer to provide feedback on ****** so you will find hundreds of happy customers about our services.Review fromEd R

I recv'd a quote (great price) and scheduled them to come out and install a system. Once out the Tech who was helpful, he thought the available spots outside were not ideal. Since my numbers were low he suggested that I retest (he provided) to see if a unit was really required. We could then look at other indoor options. While I've been waiting for the test results I've been recv'ing daily invoices from SWAT. I emailed questioning why I was being charged the cancellation fee (the Tech mentioned nothing of it) but I did not get a response just more invoices. The most alarming thing is they are charging me 20% of what the job was going to be. I certainly would have thought much harder about the installation if I knew I was going to be hit with should a HUGE charge. While trying to understand the high fee and resolve this I got hit with another invoice, this time more threatening about actions they will take within a week. Very disappointed with the communication and how I'm being treated by them. WATCH OUT!!!SWAT Environmental

Sorry about your experience. It looks like the Technician provided options to install the system and you decided you did not want to move forward which then created a $199 cancellation fee which you have agreed to pay.Review fromLark G

I have nothing but awful things to share about working with SWAT Environmental. First, what my family and I learned the hard way is that they actually do illegal work, meaning they drill through your walls and put in their own electrical when their techs are not even licensed electricians. We discovered this when we had an audit done post-SWAT work to assess what they had done good (if anything) and what harm they had caused. They drilled a hole in our floor and hit our radiant heating coils, which they ended up having to pay the company who installed them $1,500 to fix their error when they claimed they had the proper equipment to not let this happen. Everything they did was SO unprofessional. One tech had to fix one area in 4 separate visits. In the end, he quit SWAT before the job was done! We went through multiple techs in the span of almost a year because they couldn't stand to work for this company themselves. The way the business runs is so disorganized. On two occasions, we had 5 different guys drive in from 5 different locations, most of which came from ******** 4 hours away. They cited the same reasons as us for leaving the company: lack of organization, lack of skill, the higher ups lying through their teeth, and improperly providing techs with the proper equipment to do the job, meaning they had to return multiple times to do simple work. I strongly advise nobody work with SWAT! You will be sorely disappointed and may not even ever your radon levels lowered at all like in the case of our home. We received bill after bill each time they would come, yet, nothing changed in our radon levels with the work they did. In the end, I managed to get a full refund back from **** (I believe because they realized what an awful experience they gave our family and that after all of that work nothing changed with our radon levels.SWAT Environmental

Sorry about your experience. Although a lot of what you stated is not true, we had decided refunding you your money and going our separate ways was better for both parties.Review fromRobert T

This review is for Laura and Terrence. We have not had our system long enough to know if we have radon reduction. I am confident that we will see results, however, I wanted to mention immediately that Laura was very helpful with all of our questions when setting up our appointment. She was very professional and informative. Terrence, the technician, was also willing to answer further questions for us and was very professional with his work. It is obvious that he desires to please the customer with aesthetics and functionality of the mitigation system. Terrence had very little space to work with and he never complained. He has a very pleasant personality and if we need future work done, we definitely will be requesting his expertise again. Thank you, Laura and Terrence, for all your help.SWAT Environmental

A radon mitigation system was installed in my garage. I was selling my house and the new sellers decided to do a radon test. The test results came back high. Come to find out from other radon companies Swatt Environmental was not supposed to put the radon system in the garage which explained why it was not working to reduce radon levels ( it was verified the garage slab is separate from the house slab). Swatt did not want to fix the radon situation. They were not professional in handing this situation and avoiding my calls to fix the mistake they made. I finally called Swatt and scheduled an appointment to have a system installed correctly and correct the mistake they made. Technician Robert admitted that his company made a mistake installing the radon mitigation in the garage. Now Swatt wants to charge me approximately $1400 for a job they had to correct. I would not recommend this company.SWAT Environmental
