      We've had our system for almost 3 years. Our radon counts are 2.5 times the safe limits in our basement. SWAT sent us out a test and we returned it to them after collecting data for 3 days to demonstrate that the counts were very unsafe. We then left them multiple messages that they did not return. We had to call them again and again and again to get them to answer the phone. When they did, they told us that it would be $250 for them just to come out and take a look and that no labor was included in the warranty..... Cannot recommend. There are services out there that care for the health and wellbeing of their customers. Through their actions this does not seem to be one of them. Cannot recommend.

      Sorry you feel that way. We did reduce your homes radon levels and spoke to you a couple of times about what we could do to lower those radon levels even further. We don't provide a free service for the lifetime of the system but that doesn't mean we don't care about the health of our customers. Most services are going to charge the customer for additional trips out to the home.

      TERRIBLE! Fan broke soon after installation. It had been making a terrible grinding noise so we called right away, left a message and got no response. Then after numerous attempts to reach them, and a dozen messages left, they are not calling us back. They were fast and friendly to sell us the system but are hiding from us now that the system has failed.

      System quit working. Called for appointment. They reschedule one appointment and no showed on two others. They said we are still under warranty but it will run out soon. ***********************

      I can't get over how terrible this company is. They were quick to give us a quote, and decently quick to install, but it all went downhill from there.Less than a month after our system was installed, the fan stopped working. We contacted SWAT right away, and the best they could do is send someone out in 5-6 weeks! We set up an appointment and checked back several times to see if someone could come out sooner, but no luck. After about 40 days of breathing air with high radon levels, a different technician came out to fix the fan and add a new collection point. Within hours after this "fix," the seal on the collection point broke and the exhaust pipe on the outside of the house fell off. (Also note: The mechanic left the area a mess with screws all over the place and the hookup to the new fan looks so wonky; it was definitely was just "jammed into place.")We called SWAT as soon as it happened, and of course had to wait over a month for a technician to come in. A different technician came out, he fixed the seal, but did not have the right sized tubing to fix the exterior exhaust pipe. He said he would schedule the previous technician to come out to fix it the next week. It's been about a month, and have heard nothing about getting the exterior exhaust pipe fixed..... so the radon air is basically just blowing back in to our house.This is NOT OKAY. SWATs lack of ownership to fix their mistakes means my family must endure the risk of breathing Radon air.

      I call swat to get a quote for radon mitigation they give me a quote for “$400” for the basement wrap. The technician comes to our house tells us that the quote was “wrong” and “they usually come out and do the quote in person “ then proceeds to tell us the wrap is going to actually be 1100 more then was quoted. So I call and ask to speak to the quoter and he tells me “your wife should be able to visualize square footage when asked.” Then I ask to speak to the supervisor for clarification but t”hey’ll need to call me back” they don’t. I call the next day to speak to the supervisor, he’s supposedly in a meeting and will call me back afterwards. Never calls me back. Very unprofessional business with a bait and switch mentality who clearly don’t care about the customer. If you look at their yelp reviews you will see that they consistently give fraud quotes only to change it up with the customer while at the house .

      Glad we were able to discuss your concerns *******. As discussed, the difference in price was not a bait and switch but rather a result of us being given incorrect information of the size of the crawl space. We were originally told the crawl space was 80 square feet but in reality it was 375 square feet. After every job it is automated to send our customers an opportunity to leave a review. We will let our customers speak for the quality of work we provide. We do not send our customers to Yelp to leave reviews so we encourage customers to review us on *******

      First issue I noticed was that they threw my sump pump power cord down into the pit before sealing it. Had to have then come back and pull it back out which they did. Fast forward 3 years later and the system was knocked down by snow falling off my roof because it was not properly secured (screws were not put in far enough to get thru the stucco into solid wood and most joints were not glued) called to see if they would put pride into their work and fix it but they wanted to charge $190 because it was more than a year with an appointment more than 1 month out.

We will certainly stand behind our work which is why we were willing to come out and fix the issue and if it was determined that we were the cause of the problem then we would own that. We had an appointment scheduled to come out and then you decided to cancel it. If you decide to allow us to fix the issue, then please give us a call so we can schedule another appointment.

      Service employees are great. The customer service and scheduling departments could improve. I had an appointment on a Thursday that I scheduled a month out. Two days prior I received a call requesting that I move it to a day earlier, Wednesday. I agreed. On Wednesday, no one called or showed up during the appointment time. I called and was sent to voicemail about 5 times before someone picked up. They told me that no one showed up because the tech had an issue(?) if this is truly the case, I should have been notified. We rescheduled to the original appointment time, Thursday afternoon. I received a text message asking to confirm the time, so I pressed confirm. Then I received another text 10 minutes later asking me to confirm and the time had changed to the morning! Sure enough the next day, I got a call from the tech in the morning. I had to move around my work schedule to accommodate them. Honestly feels quite disrespectful. Other companies dont change the time on an appointment without telling the customer, or simply dont show up with no notice. Only using this company because its who the seller used for closing, but otherwise wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

      Using the cheapest is great until you need service or they damage your property. The SWAT staff is very pleasant, but their customer service ends there if anything goes wrong. Their installer spilled oil on my carpet and the owner of this franchise offered to pay me $50. The bid I received from a local carpet cleaning company was twice that. Mike *******, whom their staff said is the owner, promised to fix both the carpet and help with the noise and vibration the radon mitigation equipment makes. After his promise, he refused to answer my calls and messages. They sent me their warrantee which, according to my attorney, is unconscionable. It says that if they cause any damage to your property, the property owner is responsible for fixing it at the property owner's cost. Before doing business with them, if you are that desperate for cheap mitigation, have your attorney read their warrantee and advise you. This is a company I would not have used if the seller from whom I bought my property had not by contract locked me into using them. (I didn't realize what the seller had done to me until it was too late.) My property has a garage apartment that also needed radon mitigation. I hired a company that is local and am much happier with everything they have done. They have even improved the noise and vibration problems from the SWAT installation. i recommend using a company that is not named SWAT.

      Additional detail on this situation was that we offered the customer money to pay for a cleaner or to pay for supplies to do himself. He preferred to have us do it and never reached back out to coordinate a date and time after the initial phone call.

      I called this company around 4 months ago, because we were worried about Radon in our basement; we'd gotten a radon detector, and it was higher than it should be after watching it for a few days. Instead of jumping on a quick possible sale, they really took time and talked about what the recommended "red flag" level would be, and how it changed with season and weather and other things, and advised me to monitor it over the course of a few months to get an average rating- They also gave me a couple of other resources of good Radon information. I was pretty impressed by this, and really appreciated the information and the time they took to explain things... so a few months later, I called back because our average readings were very high- they asked a lot of questions again, and gave me a price over the phone for a passive radon collection/remediation in my home. I appreciated the immediate scheduling, the up-front, no nonsense pricing, and their honesty- I thought we already had a system in the house, and he told me if I did, he would charge almost half the price for additional remediation...As it turned out, we did not already have a system, and had to get a full system put in place. The best part was this: I had been educated and had confidence in this company-they could have sold me on day 1 when I called but chose to educate me and suggested other measures to be sure remediation was really needed; I felt they were very up-front and honest in pricing; and did not try to take advantage; because they knew we were very concerned, actually called because they had a cancellation and moved our scheduled day up a week- I see now why this company had such good reviews all around. I would highly recommend them to anyone concerned about the radon in their home....call them and ask questions. You will get honest answers, good resources to consult and educate yourself, and best of all great customer service from people who care.Thank you SWAT!

      Guess I should consider myself lucky, that SWAT never did any work for me. I gave up after THEY rescheduled my appointment for the 7TH TIME !!!!!!!
