My Vehicle was Towed from my apartment and damaged by Abyss Towing. Then illegally taken to a shop without my consent, in an attempt to cover up their mistake. My Vehicle was parked in MY assigned Parking Spot. Only issue was it was a new car, and i needed to update and register it with my apartment complex. Whats funny is it was the same Make, Model, and Color. Virtually identical, only a couple years newer and different plates. And again, in MY ASSIGNED spot.I did not report any vehicles in my spot nor was there any good reason to suspect it ever being towed. They literally had to be looking in assigned spots and running plates on their own authority.Limited hours and slow response from the owner left me stranded. when i finally got ahold of her, she reluctantly and dismissvely informed me my vehicle was not at the tow lot, and they had taken it to a shop, as they had damaged it in the lot. Owner then tried to bribe me with covering the cost of the repairs they caused. Unfortuantely shop said parts needed to be ordered and there a few days, leaving me without a car. She became aggressive when i told her i was taking my car from the shop as i did not consent to it being there, and as a 'Tow Business' the shop ******** *** was not associated with them nor listed in their application with the city as a remote lot. Thereby reliquishing their claim to hold the vehicle. She told me I needed to get a rental out of my own pocket. And became even more aggressive when i mentioned getting insurances involved. Which is what has been done.

I'd give it a minus 100 if I could. This is a VERY shady company and they rip you off with what they charge to tow your vehicle. The owner is extremely rude. I hope Karma pays them a visit.

I don't see how this company is still in business as they are notoriously known for ILLEGALLY towing vehicles from lots. My car that is registered with a parking permit at ************************ was towed out of the garage where I live! Tell me how is that even possible, all because my permit sticker wasn't affixed on my windshield (most likely fell off) but it's physically in my car. The alderman has been contacted for their illegal actions, and I pray that this business will be shut down soon. Greed is a sorry game, and it's not right to prey on people like this!

I was at Briawick apartment 92nd and Howard Ave in Greenfield, WI helping a co-worker who broken her ankle on 10/21/2022. Arrived about 7:20 pm and left at about 9:10 pm. My car was not in the spot and came to realize it had been towed.
The towing sign is not very visible when you are not sure of where you are going and it is dark out.
Abyss Towing was the company that had my car. Called the phone number on a small sign I found. Only time to pick up the car was between 9am-1pm on that Saturday. Called on Friday night left a message with the make model plate number and my contact information.
Called several times on Saturday morning starting at 9am, no one answered. Showed up to pick up my car at 9:27 am the office building was closed doors locked and no one around. Looks like a company that went out of business. Called serval more times to talk to someone to get my car. My son and I were walking around looking for a person and still calling the company to talk to someone.
At this point started to think the car was stolen not towed. What business has this kind of service. Nonexistence service.
I saw an older man coming out of a trailer and I had to start yelling to get his attention and ask for help. still calling the towing company to try and talk with a human. Was told the fee is $350.00 to get my car and as of Monday 10/24 no one answers the phone or returns phone calls.
