I injured myself working on my car. Had ct scans done at calumet ascension. Radiologists said they sent the scans to ent. Ent said no surgery or follow up required. They pestered me for the next 2 days about how critical it was to come in within 7 days of injury for follow up with the ent specialists. Which was confusing to me as they told me at the emergency room that no follow up needed. Reluctantly i came in. They were very adamant about being early. Arrived 10 min early. I sat for literally 3 hours in their waiting room. Why did i bother coming early when everyone else that came in was seen first and left first??? Either they entirely pushed me off or they have **** poor scheduling. Wasted a half a day of work i lost out on. When it was finally my turn to be seen im not exaggerating when i say the doctor saw me for a whole 2 full minutes. Took ONE glance at my scan and said nothing further was needed and i was all ok to go home. He knew before i came in that it was pointless to come in. Yet they knew i got injured and wanted their slice of money. Capatilizing on someones injury. Unethical. I refuse to pay for something they could have called me for free on. If you do the math that works out to 2 dollars a second with the doctor or 7200$ per hour. Beyond unethical and i refuse to pay for something that was totally predatory and unethical and medically unnessecary. I should have bailed on the appt and just gone into work. Id be money ahead. I feel like i was taken advantage of simply for quick few bucks. Judging by other ****** reviews this is a common practice for these guys.

We originally spoke to someone by the name of ***** to schedule the appointment for this patient.  I am not entirely sure who ***** is (the person who scheduled the appointment is no longer here and I have no record of the phone number this call came from to review the call), but we did not "******" the patient as I show no record of contacting him multiple times to schedule.  The patient was seen in the ** and was recommended to follow up with us.  I listened to the phone call between our *************** *** and the patient when he called to try to reschedule his appointment and both he and the *** were very cordial.  There was no pushing for the appointment, and the patient himself even told the *** that the hospital wanted him to follow-up, so his claim on this report that no follow-up was required is not accurate.  For injuries such as his, we recommend patients be seen 3-7 days post-injury in case we would need to have a corrective procedure, which is why we scheduled him within that time frame.  The person scheduling the appointment would not have access to his CTs or know anything otherwise and was only following protocol.  Regarding the claim that he sat in the waiting room for 3 hours, this is also false.  The patient's appointment was at 9:15 a.m.  While he did have a longer than usual wait, he was seen by the physician by 10:00 a.m. and checked out by 10:28 a.m.  Patient was treated appropriately by physician per treatment notes.

I went to this clinic to see the ENT on 8/9/22. I was suffering with a very bad case of vertigo. I'm new to this doctor as I just moved back to WI. A staff member/nurse greeted me and hurried me back to take a hearing test. I informed her that I just had a complete hearing test with an audiologist a few months prior and I did not want to take another test because of the cost. She insisted that I needed a new hearing test (without even looking at my previous test) or I would be sent home and not be able to see the doctor. I gave in because I was desperate to see the doctor that day as I was nauseous and had been suffering for weeks.Fast forward, I was surprised to get a bill for $270 to my insurance with $121.68 being my portion of the bill. I called billing to dispute this and let them know it was not ok to be forced into an unnecessary test and now large medical bill. They stood by the staff member insisting on the hearing test and would not adjust my bill. They have now forwarded my bill to a collections agency and I find all of this totally unacceptable!I shouldn't have needed a new hearing test for the ENT doctor to do the eply maneuver for me. No matter what they say, they could have looked at my recent hearing test. I had it readily available.
