      Long story shortI paid for a Dolphin Pool cleaner, returned it (wrong product: never turned it on, only dropped it in the pool and then when we read in instructions that it was for only above ground pools we immediately took the Dolphin out, let it dry and packaged it back up). I called and spoke to a Doheny Rep and she gave me the address to return it to and guaranteed a refund. I did not receive a refund so I called and asked that they send me my product back. Supervisor advised me to go pay for a return label, which I did and ***** e-mailed the label to Doheny ************** To date, they refuse to send me my product. I paid $560 for the Dolphin; $30 to return it; and then $100 for a return label to have it shipped back to me from DohenysI have received NOTHING! It has been 3 months and over 20 phone calls and over 10 e-mails. I own this product and they refuse to either send me my product or refund me. Do not order from Doheny! They have the worst customer support ever! I would never refer anybody to order from this company!

      Hello,

      I do apologize that the cleaner you had purchased did not work for your needs.  It does state on the product page which this cleaner was ordered that "Designed specifically for above-ground swimming pools".  Per our return policy, items which you are not satisfied with must be returned within 30 days in new and unused condition.  Depending on the condition even if used as long as the item is resalable we can sometimes still credit and deduct a restocking fee.  Unfortunately, this was not the case with the unit you had returned.  I do see that in the time since this complaint was filed that we have been able to resolve this issue, the cleaner is currently in transit to you and you should be able to track the package with the tracking information provided when you had issued the label.

      Doehnny accept an order I placed 8-23-21 for a 18 Round Rip Lock Cover Sku 7066covr $119.01 After Dohenny accepted my order, I received notice that they cancelled my order.I ended up settling for a lesser quality 18Rnd Ps Tan Pro-Tek Cover which unfortunately failed and ripped the first season we used it. I sent pictures to the warranty **** which said they would honor the guarantee but I have to pay $20.00 shipping to cover the replacement!!This is of course on top of all the EXTRA WORK WE HAD CLEANING OUT ALL THE EXTRA DEDRIS THAT ENDED ** ** OUR POOL BECAUSE THE COVER FAILED.I called Dohenny customer ********************** and asked if I could pay the difference and receive the Original cover that I had ordered to begin as a replacement and was told oh no we cant do anything like thatI just hate to think of getting a replacement that will likely fail again when we have to use it. I still think it is a bit much for me to be expected to pay $20.00 shipping becuae Doehenny sent me a DEFECTIVE COVER.Gromets so close to the edge, some even right on the edge are of course unlike to hold for any period of time.

      I apologize to hear about the defect and unavailability of the original desired cover.  We have attempted to reach out to extend an offer that will hopefully satisfy your needs.  We were unable to reach you but will continue to re-attempt. At this point the original item that you intended to order is in stock and we can work on replacing this cover with the one you received under the warranty. You may also attempt to reach the warranty company back if you agree to this arrangement at  **************.

      i AM ONLY REJECTING BECAUSE NO ONE FROM DOEHHY HAS MADE ANY ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME ABOUT ANYTHING

      THEY HAVE MY CELL ************ AND EMAILS *********************** &***********************..

      i am waiting and waiting and waiting for someone to contact me or provide me with a DIRECT TOLL FREE NUMBER

      WHERE I COULD ACTULLY REACH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT THIS. 

       

      Regarding Dohenny saying they reached out etc..I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM ANYONE AT DOHENNY.
      They have my email and my phone number   ************.  And I did not just  intend to order the first cover
      Dohenny  ACCEPTED AND TOOK MY ORDER and then Dohenny cancelled saying they did not have the cover even though they accepted the first order.
      And yes if someone contacts me yes of course I will accept the original cover that I had ordered in the first place as the warranty replacement

      Again I apologize if we were not able to reach you but we certainly did make attempts according to the recorded calls,  I do see that we were able to get this resolved and that a replacement which you originally intended to order was shipped out to you at no additional cost and replaced under warranty.   The replacement cover has shipped out today and you should have or will be receiving an email from us containing your tracking number.
