      We purchased a Speed Queen dryer in July, 2022 for $1,149.99. We chose Speed queen for the promised quality and reliability. Written right on their website, Speed Queen promises, true peace of mind comes in performance and reliability. Further, they promise commercial quality, a machine that will last, 25 years of life in an average household. Speed queen isnt an economical financial choice, we paid for quality. Legendary reliability the company promises. Legendary UNreliability has been my experience. My dryer challenges started only 7 months after purchase. I currently have only been able to use my dryer for 1.5 days out of the last 21 days. Ill start with an outline of my most recent experience with Speed Queen. February 5th I discovered my dryer was once again no longer working. The call started with waiting for 30 plus minutes to then be told by the automated voice that, wait times are longer than normal, we will call you back. Friday February 16th the repair company makes a repair with electrical tape because they dont have wires long enough. Sunday afternoon the dryer quit. I called on Monday and they said I would hear back within 72 hours. Friday I called for an update and they informed me that the issue is still being looked over and there is now no timeframe.They arent refunding my purchase price or repairing the lemon of a unit. As I indicated, the unit quit working properly after only 7 months of use. I have repeated this process of exceptionally long wait times and taking time off work for repairs SEVEN times since I purchased the unit only 19 months ago. The unit has not worked properly in: February, April, May, August and October 23, January, and twice in February 24. Clearly, Speed Queen has over-promised and under-delivered. The company has built a faulty machine and is not taking my concerns seriously in a timely manner. I spent money on promises that clearly are fake advertising. I request a full refund.

      My husband and I purchased a Speedqueen Washing Machine from McCrarys Appliance on November 2, 2023. Almost immediately after purchase, it began knocking. On January 4, 2024, I contacted Speedqueen (Alliance Laundry) to advise them of the problem and request repair under the warranty. (CASE NO. *******) I was advised there were 2 authorized service providers in our area. I first called TNT Appliance. They were shocked that our address was part of their service area but said they would come but that they were going to be asked to be removed from servicing our area. They came out on January 15, 2024 but the technician could not get the problem to duplicate. He advised me to send videos of the problem and he would come back. Which I did. Alliance sent an email to TNT to return. They did not - they did not even call. Alliance then suggested New Technology. On January 30, 2024, New Technology came. He came after 5 (2 hours late for appt) and the technical **** at Alliance was closed. He then reported that he could not duplicate the problem - which was a lie because we have him on video with it was making the noise. I asked Alliance for the contact information for a supervisor at Alliance. I got no response to my email. On February 3, 2024, I sent another email - no response. We then-on our own-called Hamiton Appliance. ******** came out and on two separate occasions prior to today. Today, they came and replaced the tub. Now, it is leaking and cannot be used. We have taken off 5 times since we purchased the machine for repair - Now we have no washer. Alliance asked the repairman to order another tub and come back and replace it again making it what will be a 6th time. I have asked for a replacement washer. We have sent at least 10 videos of the machine making the knocking noise. We paid approximately $1500.00 for the washer. We have had to take off 5 days from work and NOW we cannot even wash clothes. We want replacement of our washer.

      Jan 08 2024 Purchased TR5003WN Speed Queen washing machine from *********************.Complained first week of its use that it does not clean clothes as advertised. Multiple visits by appliance technician and parts changed out machine still operates at a super slow agitation cycle. Speed queen rep told me that this particular model you need to prewash your clothes before using the machine. Also, that this particular model was intended for people with a certain lifestyle. Basically someone that does not have any soiled clothes. I believe the agitation motor for the drum needs recalled or I have a lemon. Consumer affairs has this washing machine rated a 1.2 out of 5

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Speed Queen regarding the malfunctioning of the washing machine I purchased, Model # AWN63RSN116TW01, Serial # **********, from Designer Appliances in ********* on December 3, 2023, for $1300.Within weeks of purchase, the machine started experiencing issues, intermittently failing to complete wash cycles. Despite multiple service calls to Solar Appliances, the authorized service provider, the problem persists.The technician's inability to diagnose and rectify the issue efficiently has caused significant inconvenience and financial burden. We have had to endure frequent trips to the laundromat since January 25th have added up to well over $500 at this point.The repeated delays in obtaining the correct replacement parts, as well as the failure of the technician's attempted repairs, demonstrate a lack of competence and accountability on Speed Queen's part.Speed Queen is known for their long lasting products, which is why we put out the extra money to purchase something that would last. I am very disappointed by the product I have received and response by Speed Queen representatives to remedy this situation. I request immediate resolution of this matter, either through a prompt and effective repair or a full refund or replacement for the defective appliance.

      As of February 20, 2024 I have spent at least $1,680 having to go to a laundromat to wash my families clothes due to the fact that the brand new washer machine I purchased on December 3, 2023 for $1,281.57 broke down a month after its purchase. I have spent more money having to go to the laundromat at this point than I have on the actual purchase of the washer machine. Not to mention the unimaginable inconvenience it has been as a family of 6 with young children. Today made the 5th time a technician has come out to my house for repairs and Friday will be the 6th. This is absolutely unacceptable and I am requesting an immediate resolution or some type of compensation.

      My present post to Review Websites:Buyer Beware! Speed Queen is not what it used to be! I purchased a Speed Queen Commercial Heavy Washing Machine and Dryer in May of 2023. Within the first seven months of owning them, I had five repairs to the washing machine and three to the dryer. I reached out repeatedly to Alliance the maker of Speed Queen and the Retailer I purchased it from, receiving no help. They explained that no exchanges are allowed, only repeated repairs.

      SPEED QUEEN WASHING MACHINE LOG: 1.PURCHASED ON JANUARY 3, 2023 FROM ****** DIAMOND IN ************, ** 2.FEBRUARY 21, 2023 MACHINE WAS LEAKING. CALLED WESTWOOD APPLIANCE AND THEY INSTALED A NEW DRAIN LINE 3.SEPTEMBER 23 MACHINE WAS MAKING VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN IN SPIN CYCLE. CALLED HAUS APPLIANCE AND AND WAS ATOLD THAT THE **** NEEDED REPLACING AND REQUIRED TWO TECHNICIANS WHICH THEY DID NOT HAVE. THEY ALSO SAID SPEED QUEEN DID NOT EVEN HAVE PART IN STOCK EVEN IF THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX (DOCUMENTATION FORTHCOMING)4.CALLED ****** DIAMOND TO COMPLAIN AND THEY CALLED WESTWOOD APPLIANCE WHO CAME OUT AGAIN AND SAID THE FOLLOWING PARTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED: The parts needed are the all shocks, door loc, door strike, drum and bearings.HOWEVER, SEVERAL OF THESE PARTS WERE ON BACKORDER FROM SPEED QUEEN WITH NO EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE ON JANUARY 9, **** THE WASHING MACHINE BECAME INOPERABLE. IT FLOODED OUR FLOOR. AT THIS TIME WE HAD TO START USING A LAUNDRY SERVICE TO WASH LAUNDRY. TO DATE, THIS HAS COST US.$706.15 WE HAVE ATTEMPTED TO REACH SPEED QUEEN CUSTOMER SERVICE MULTIPLE TIMES (AT LEAST 5). AFTER BEING ON HOLD FOR ALMOST AN HOUR, THERE IS A VOICE RECORDING SAYING THAT THEY WILL RETURN THE CALL WHEN OUR PHONE NUMBER IS NEXT IN LINE. WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A RETURN CALL.

      I purchased the Speed Queen DR5003WG gas dryer on 3-30-23 for $1488.46. The dryer worked for a couple of months then started beeping randomly throughout the day, everyday. I contacted the place of purchase and a repair service was set up. The repair person checked the dryer in conjunction with Speed Queen's support line. A control board was sent out. When the repair person finally showed back up to replace the part, it was not a good part. It was dead. A replacement part was sent and the repair person was finally able to come and put it in. the dryer worked for one day. The next day the dryer would turn itself on numerous times. This is a hazard as we do not run the dryer when we are not home. Along with turning itself on, we cannot always get the dryer to start a cycle and run for the entire cycle. It may come on after 10 tries or we may have to stop and try later. The dryer is basically unusable. I called Speed Queen directly and they tried setting up a service call. After a few tries they emailed me to tell me the repair person was not returning their call. They included the names of other repair companies for me to call. All of these alternate companies to not service my area. I am too far from their location. Speed Queen's answer to this was for me to find a service company, pay for the repair and they would reimburse me up to $250. This is not an acceptable solution. They are responsible for fixing this dryer or for replacing it. Why sell your product in my area if you cannot honor the service agreement?

      Serial number ********** washer pirchased 02/21/24., stopped working 12/15/23. We have been trying to get this washer fixed for 6 weeks. We have incurred landuary mat expenses. To this day our washer is not fixed. We are frustrated. I see all kinds of complaints against you on Better Business Bureau. Some how we have had two different repair companies working on this washer and the service person here today doesn't seem to be able to fix it. This has been a nightmare and is causing me stress that is making me ill. My next step is small claims court.

      Last summer we bought a SpeedQueen washer and dryer. I wanted the best. One and done. The model is TR7003WN. It is advertised as having Speed Queen Perfect Wash. This machine simply does not clean clothes. I have tried everything. Using more water, changing the brand and amount of detergent used, different wash cycles, soaking...you name it. This design is flawed -- it does not work. Here is a recent example. I washed 2 sheets in hot water on the highest setting and used the best detergent. When they came out, the following dirt was still on the sheet -- a simple dirt area caused by my dog's foot. Not oil. Simple dirt. This wiped of very easily in 15 seconds with a damp wash cloth. This is not normal! I called SQ and ******* instructed me that I need to pretreat heavily soiled items and let them soak since this machine does not have a functioning agitator. This is not a "heavily soiled" item. THE CLOTHES COME OUT AS IF THEY WERE NEVER WASHED. It is quite frankly unbelievable that they still sell this unit. I am, to be honest, surprised someone has not filed a class action suite again SQ for false advertising for this TR7model. I would never do such a thing, but the product is that bad, that those that would have plenty to work with on this model.I really wanted this washer to work. I like the concept of a well built washer that is simple. Sadly, this washer is so badly designed, the fact that it lasts a long time is not a positive. I think MOST will be happy to see it go. Unfortunately I should have done my research before buying this model. When CR reviewed it, It was the lowest ranked washer in its segment. I unfortunately relied on SQ's reputation. It's SQ. It's the best. That is not the case. It is the opposite. I would be happy to buy a better MORE EXPENSIVE SQ model if that is what it takes. SQ should buy this washer back. Yes. It's that bad. And it is false advertising.

      I purchased a speed queen dryer in 2019 that had a 10 year warranty.Its been 5 years and the product has failed. I contacted speed queen customer service and was told there were no certified technicians in my area for the warranty repair. I was then told I would need to hire someone outside of their networks to repair my machine. The costs associated with the repair are now my responsibility according to speed queen pending their reimbursement process. This is unacceptable. Speed queen uses deceptive warranty practices when selling products. Im the meantime,I had to purchase a new dryer as I can not be without an appliance for months.
