      On April 28, I purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer.Serial # ********** It lasted a few weeks and would no longer complete a cycle, the lid would no longer open, and was making horrific noises. I initially contacted speed queen on July 21. I waited several weeks for a technician that they assigned to my device. No one ever showed at the home. I contacted them several times to let them know that he did not show. They moved to the second *********** *****, who came to my home one time. He told me he was unsure if the wash machine could be fixed, but would try to order a couple of parts to see if he could attempt to fix. We had two other visits scheduled with ***** and no one has showed up since. The parts that they order all show canceled. I have contacted speed queen on multiple occasions, speaking with a different member of their team each time, all of which would assure me they would not stop until this was solved, and they would follow up with me, none of which did. It is September, Ive been without a washing machine this entire time. I have paid $1200 for a machine that has only worked a few weeks. I do feel as if I have been taken advantage of by the company. I did not want to have to file this report, however, I feel as if I have nothing else I can do. I was hoping that the Better Business Bureau would help me find a solution. All I want is a washing machine that will work. Thank you very much.

      I paid for wash dry and fold service and I am missing 2 bathing suits and a dress. The manager refuses to return my calls and its been over a month. I would like compensation for my items and a refund for poor service. Never again!

      We purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer on On Dec *******. By Dec 22, 2022 had a timer replaced when we discovered our dryer had been running for 8+ hours. The dryer was so hot we could not even touch it. The technician who was replacing the timer called Speed queen while he was here because this problem was so soon after purchase. He was told to not turn the dial Counterclockwise to reach any setting, which we ensured never did (There was no warning in any of the printed materials from Speed Queen claiming not to turn the dial counterclockwise.)This Process has been repeating ever since. We have had the timer changed twice and two thermostats replaced along with multiple service calls. Our dealer has been very helpful, but Speed Queen has not. We have had clothes, ruined, excessive electricity used, and an inordinate amount of stress, hoping that OUR HOUSE WONT BURN DOWN!!! We set our independent timer every time we put the dryer on now. Occasionally, someone forgets. This should not have to even be a part of owning a dryer. Dryer failures: Dec 2022 8+ hrs, Jan 4, 2023 8+ hrs, July 6, 2023 others nr in 2023, Jan 2024 8+ hours, Feb 3, 5+ hrs, march 9+ hrs, April 20 3+ hrs, May 2, 10+ hrs, May 29, 13+ hrs, June 20, 4.3 hrs, as SOME of the examples. SQ refuses to replace product. We would like a DIFFERENT MODEL so as not to repeat the past 2 yrs! Someone in our community recently died from an overheated Dryer-caused housefire. We take this very seriously. Thank you for your help.

      I bought a commercial washer from ******* 9-5-23 and paid top price. Within a short time I noticed stains on top of machine like its missing a sealer and neither Spencers or Alliance would help on that , then it broke down almost 3 months ago and havent had a washer since! Dr ********* came twice and now not scheduled until mid September. I cant dispute it with my credit card due to being too long ago and I dont get anywhere with Speed Queen or Alliance other than an 50. Check and I havent cashed it plus no laundry mat near me! who can go 1/4 a year without a washing machine with a family. It was supposed to be the top of the line commercial machine . I just want a new one. Any one else having problems with Alliance or Spencers? *********************

      Ordered 11/19/2020 Company gives 3 month ***** period for warranty Warranty started January 2021 Was told we had a 5 year warranty when purchased and we only have a 3 year warranty according to speed queen. ****** just stopped working out of no where. The start sensor no longer works. Company claims washer "lasts 25 years rated most reliable" yet here we are not able to start our washer just a few months over 3 years of owning it. This is a commercial washer used in a household that takes care of our appliances. We even still have the plastic film on the top from delivery. After 4 different tech call attempts with people that gave us attitude and gave us clarity that they are almost 100% sure it's not the control panel giving us problems. That is also not counting the numerous time we talked to customer support. Called this morning at ****** PST 8/28/2024 two different times during the hours technical support was open and we got a voice automated system saying that they were closed to which we had to reach out to customer service and they had to connect us through a different number. 08/28/24 is confirmed with tech support that it is the control panel that is giving us the problem. The part says made in ****** even though they claim to be American made. Our part number ****** is no longer made they had to update it, why? Because it was faulty?? The new part that we need is ******P they said that is the one that should replace it. Their new warranties just a year after we bought ours went up to 5 years... Why because their were issues? All they could give us was 20% off a part instead of just making it right. I would like to be compensated for the new part as we are paying $110 and having to drive 30 min to pick it up. I would not expect this from a company that claims ****** most reliable brand. And this whole process has been pretty unreliable. Have been dealing with this issue since August 17th and today is August 28th 2024.

      We purchased our Speed Queen DC5 Dryer on 7/25/2022. Our dryer runs so hot (over 400 degrees within a minute) that it has been burning our laundry. One Speed Queen *** even said not to run it unless we're watching it in the same room, because "all" dryers not just ours running 400+ degrees could start a fire. Our heat outlet cover keeps melting onto clothes, our clothes have been burn ***eatedly and Speed Queen just keeps send out ***s that do not fix the problem. We've had 11 service calls and our clothes are still getting burnt and we don't trust our dryer to not start a fire. At one point, Speed Queen said it must be our venting, so the *** took off the venting and the dryer still went up to 300 degrees within a minute. It's not our venting. We have taken every correction they've asked us, had many sick days called into work so their ***s can come out to not have the parts to come out again to not fix the problem. On our last visit of 8/5/24, before the *** left I showed him the dryer heating to over 400 degrees. He said to give it time. Well since then, we're out another big batch of clothing with burn marks. We run the dryer less than half full and we're still having safety issues. At this point, we would like a refund so we can buy another brand. I'm to the point I don't even care that our washer and dryer won't match. I feel like Speed Queen is just trying to wait until our warranty is up, but this is unacceptable. Reading other reviews online, it appears we're not alone. One *** even said there was a recall and ***laced the recall part(s), but that did not help. Our dryer, today, burnt 1/2 of my daughter's expensive clothes in her load of laundry. There were about 10 leggings in there and 5 of them have the heat cover outlet pattern burned onto them.

      My husband and I bought a speed queen dryer in the last 10 months. It is under warranty. When it arrived it had a high-pitched rattling sound . We immediately reported the issue and speed queen to send out a repair person who attempted to replace the drums. The sound continued and a second and third repair person was sent out by speed queen, but they could not find an underlying problem causing the rattle. They gave up, I again emailed and called speed queen . The company claims the normal decibel sound is 52 dB and my machine measures 64 to 68.8 dB . I have sent documented videos to the company of the sound, including decibel monitoring objectively documenting this . After multiple emails speed queen claims that if they send someone out to fix the dryer, the. they will only pay for this if there is something found to be wrong with the dryer, otherwise, they say I will be responsible for the service call. However, they have no direction as to what to attempt to be fixed. they refuse to replace the dryer even though the repair people do not know what else to do and speed queen has no other advice from their technical team as to what could be causing this more than doubling of sound dB and rattling/friction sound.

      Purchased a new Speed Queen dryer on 7/19/24 at *********************** in Spfld Il. The cost was $1569.41.The dryer makes a very loud noise when drying. I reached out to the seller and a service call was scheduled for today. The technician thinks it's the motor as it was too hot to touch. Contacted Spedd Queen cust service and requested a replacement dryer. Denied my request. I explained it was faulty and afraid of a fire, I was told my homeowners insurance would pay for that.

      Everyone told me buy a Speed Queen dryer you will never have any problems. That is not accurate. I pur*****d my dryer from a local business. They are a licensed dealer. They have had to replace the timer multiple times, heating/temperature controls, and the grate at the back of the dryer inside. This dryer has burnt my clothes! They local company has tried everything they say. Speed Queen sends them on a wild goose ***** with each issue. The last visit when the local company came to my house the internal temperature of the dryer was 224 degrees! When you open the dryer the clothes are so hot it feels like they are burning your fingers! On 7/24/24 I contacted Speed Queen via telephone. I explained all my issues and concerns. I asked to speak with a manager. I was told they do not have managers talk with customers. Managers only communicate via email. On 7/26/24 I received an email from ******* requesting pictures. I sent them within 1 hour. Today is 8/10/24 and I have received no return email. I have called multiple times and have been told it was escalated. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I guess when the dryer catches my house on fire I will get a call back then.

      Purchased: 11.21.23 - ABT Electronics - Order Number: 1121301PXHB - Total: $4797.05 Delivered: 12.13.23 Repaired: 02.06.24 Repaired: 03.09.24 Repaired: 04.07.24 Parts Delay: 05.14.24 Parts Delay: 06.08.24 Parts Delay: 06.29.24 Repaired: 07.05.24 Parts Delay: 07.08.24 Repaired 07.17.24 At 9 months old, maybe 3 months use, 8 onsite service visits, 5 onsite repairs, 31 emails with Alliance, hours on hold with a 50% chance of a disconnect, 3 part delays, and to top it all my experience with Speed Queens (Alliance) customer service has lowered the bar. Here I am 9 months later with a now functional dryer but a leaking washer which piles clothing in the front window & bangs so loud it causes door errors where the door will not open after a cycle.
