      My garage floor was installed floor 7-8 years ago and it has a warranty that I know is longer than this. Initially I thought it was 10 or 20 years; the person that came out once to do some repairs said it was lifetime. Either way, I know I am within the warranty period. They came out once to repair some cracks in the flooring 4-5 years ago or so. The color scheme was mismatched , but that is not germane to my complaint.Since then, I have had additional cracking/heaving. I have attempted to contact them multiple times over the past **** months via telephone and through the website. I also provided some photographs. I have left messages through both the service and new quote telephone options. I have not receive a return telephone call or e-mail.I notice the warranty has changed since they did my installation, as they previously fixed cracks in my garage flooring and no longer do. I am wondering if they hope I just go away...I am not sure, which has lead me to file this complaint. Even if it isn't covered under warranty, which I would like to understand based on past repairs, I at a minimum would like to discuss a cost for repairs. I have a piece that has peeled away and I know that and the heaving is not going to improve.

      I am very sorry that your phone calls were not returned. That is not normal nor do we avoid any contact with clients for any reason. As the owner, I take full responsibility for not communicating quicker.  We will do better. As for the warranty concern. Our warranty has always covered any type of peeling only. Any cracking or heaving is caused by concrete movement, which we have no control over, therefore can not provide a warranty for cracking of any kind. We have before as a courtesy when we have been in the area, filled cracking for folks without charge. I understand my staff has been in contact with you to visit you onsite to look at the floor to determine what can be repair within warranty and what can be repair outside of warranty.       Floor coating was installed October of 2020. I talked to them and sent pictures of a raised seam in may of 2021. They said was not cracked and it was okay. I was concerned about cracking along the seam. I contacted them again in May of 2022 because the seam was starting to crack. I also sent pictures. They said it was not covered by warranty. I asked them to come and look at the seam and crack. They decided not to look at the damage in person. Since then the crack along the seam has gotten worst.

      ******************** and I met the other day on site. I explained that cracking was not covered by warranty because cracking is caused by movement-settling of concrete which we have no control over. While looking for a cause of the movement in the concrete, we discovered that when his truck would go in and out of the garage the concrete sunk and raised quite a bit. Move than I had ever seen before. I used a ************************* to tap on the garage floor surface to listen for void areas and we found numerous voids under the concrete. We both agreed that repairing the tearing/cracking in the coating was pointless being that the concrete under the coating was moving so much that it would continue to tear/crack.
