Bought a sickle bar mower, broke on the second day and had to get it welded, then on the 5th day the bearing went out. Less than 40hrs use. The product is garbage. They won't give me my money back, they claim its never happened before.

***** brought the attachment back to us on 7-13-23 (I believe).  The sickle bar was bent so bad from hitting something that it was no longer usable.  ***** states that the bearing went out with less than 40 hours, which is understandable, because while we greased it before it was sold, it was not greased after it left our place.  Any piece of equipment or machinery will require regular maintenance to keep in operating condition-which is the users/owners responsibility.  40 hours of mowing is an extremely long time for any attachment without any grease or oil-especially this sickle mower. Unfortunately, the mower was not maintained properly for the kind of use it was put trough, and was damage by the user to the point it was not operational.  When ***** dropped off the mower he stated we could keep it because it was so damaged and clearly no longer usable. I said he didn't have to just abandon it that we would work something out with him.  Of course I had no idea, he already submitted a complaint with BBB before even coming to see me  I stated that we could either fix it or look at credit toward something else.  He stated he didn't need anything else and would just prefer a refund.  I stated that wasn't going to be an option due to the condition of the mower. We have called ***** 4 times leaving messages, with attempts to come to a resolution on this matter.  He has not answered any of our calls or returned any messages, to try and work something out. In spite of the damage and condition of his attachment, I'm still willing to work with ***** if he would give us a call.  I will not try and resolve the matter through this forum, If ***** wants some resolution he will have to call me or come see me. Thanks
