Wanted 2 outlets in. 1st guy had to call the 2nd guy, price went up. Sat in the truck for about 20 minutes. I felt it was a sales strategy discussion to upsell. Estimate went from $1450 to $13,000 3 hours later. When I wouldn't sign, guy told me just don't use the electricity upstairs. Scare tactics because he didn't get a signature. Even had the supervisor on speaker on his phone. I felt I was getting double timed. As 1st guy left I told him that and he said" that's why I am leaving"

READ THIS - DONT GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.Despicable business practice. Get their quote and get some others. You will never call them back. Dont sign up for their membership. They use it to get you to let them in to give them overpriced quotes. Read below.Had work done a few years ago. Definitely felt a little over priced but was convenient. 3 years later they come back and tell me I need a new arc fault breaker to fix the flickering in a couple of my bedrooms. They literally did a brand new one three years ago that cost over 5k, among other things. Hitting me up for $1200 this time around to update 2 breakers and replace some outlets. Feel completely taken advantage of. Do your research before signing anything. They do put some pressure on you when they present you with a few menu options. Try to build a little trust and rapport telling you you don't need the third most expensive option and bring you down lower on the first and second.Edit since you guys left a pitiful response... Remember you cancelled on me last. I paid in full 2 days before. Buyers beware....they cancel after you move around your family schedule to get their 5 hour window to work. Have some decency. Is it a best practice that you guys disclose online how much customers pay for their work? You can't even give me an itemized repair list with cost for each part. When I asked about this you told me it would be "double" the price. 100% complete lie to my face, and the manager was on the other line when the tech said it.Obviously you are trying to make me feel guilty for wanting to shop around. You coming out for a courtesy inspection isn't my problem. That sounds like you wasting your time. At this point, you could save some face saying you dropped the ball.EDIT#2 update - the real work needed cost $400 all in. They stared at $1600. This business practice is despicable. Shop around before. They prey on you being lazy. ABSOLUTELY UNETHICAL. Make people feel guilty to protect their family.
