  All of the people that worked on my project were polite and very knowledgeable. Everything was always cleaned up at the end of the day. Any questions I had were answered, if someone didn't know the answer they would get they answer.

  My wife and I have ordered new windows in our house, but forgot about 2 additional windows and had to place 2nd orders for those. The crew that was here to do the first 5 windows were very good at their jobs and all of their work appeared perfect, including the color choice. When it came time to install the two windows that we had forgotten, a different crew was assigned and their workmenship was not up to the standards of the first crew. The first thing I noted was that one of the crew tore off the trim work that was installed around a large(front) window that matched the previous work and installed an entirely different color trim, from a tannish color to an almost white color. even a blind man could see the difference. In addition, there was a small window in the laundry room that again was more white, and the trim work appeared to be more than the worker could handle, the measurments were off and it was tacked down with a sledge hammer by all appearances. And finally the window in the garage was a different color, nearly white instead of the tannish color. When the "two" windows were ordered, we were told that the trim color on the five windows was no longer available, but that the company had the same color, but just called it something else When these problems were called to River Valleys attention, we did not get any response from them. Now two or three weeks later we have contacted them again, and no one seems to be around to discuss the issues. I would not use their services again.

  They are the best people to do business with! I hired them to clean out gutters & install gutter helmets. They came out within a few days & install the front & back gutters! They cleaned up after themselves and they charged much less than other company's that I got estimates from!

  Stay as far away from them as you can and even if you win a contest like I did. It is not worth it. They took advantage and made me believe high quality work would be done. City got involved part way through and RVR had to come back and redo everything because it was done wrong, not to industry standards, and now we are left with way more problems that will happen this winter. A reputable company will provide you with materials used, a picture or rending what it would look like, and yet even with the demonstration they came in with those products were used. They got them from ********** and *******. Even with a year warranty on stuff their workers couldnt fix again and they set up the plumber to come fix it and he said the wrong something was used. The window is tilted forward but they literally built out the window trim to make it look normal. Built out the baseboards b/c the floor wasnt cut close enough to the wall. And yes after 2 weeks I wanted them gone. I could give you so many examples of reasons to stay away, but I know for a fact that we arent gonna probably be able to get back what were losing out on.
