5 Star for customer service 4 Star for the BTOD Akir chair I bought my Akir chair about 6-7 months ago. I put it together (very simple) but it had some creaking noise to it. I didn't notice it right away because I could only get it to creak doing small/slight movements at a desk. It wasn't a terrible creak, but still somewhat loud. over the course of 6 months it started to slowly sound louder and more annoying. I tried to use a variety of different lubricants and even grease on certain spots I assumed the noise came from, sometimes it would reduce the noise, once even completely had no creaking, but only until the next day. It would be just as loud of a creak as if I didn't even spray it down at all. I never tried to contact BTOD about the creaking, because the chair was still comfortable and operational, but I decided to leave a review on the akir chair with my experience with the chair and creaking noise. BTOD actually reached out to me, emailed me saying they wouldn't recommend to using lubricant as "it may cause a unintentional failure in the clutch for the tilt function causing a fall risk" and they suggested that they can send me out a new part. I received the part they sent (took about 2 days even on the weekend) and put it together on the chair. I have now been using the chair for a week now with zero creaking noise. BTOD helped my seating be more comfortable. As for the Akir chair review: BTOD gives their honest opinion about the chair if you watch their youtube videos, its a very good chair, not the best, but definitely beats other chairs. I chose this chair specifically for the soft seat, I was between this and the Eurotech Vera. This chair has a very comfortable seat, good armrests, good lumbar support, good tilt functions and now no creaking noises. I also have a headrest with it, which I like as well. I wish this chair had a little more upper back support, but that may be my fault with bad poster. Overall. Great Chair.

After a lot of research, I ordered a refurbished Aeron chair from BTOD at over 50% less than a new chair. Order process was quick and easy and as soon as my order was placed, I received a estimated ship date (2 weeks from when order was placed). Order shipped on the date given and arrived 2 days later.Chair was in great condition and very clean with the only sign of wear being some wear on one of the legs (which I expected). After assembling the chair (which was really easy), I noticed the chair pad was missing so I contacted BTOD by email on a Saturday and got a response from April first thing Monday morning. April got a new pad shipped out which arrived the next day and I'm more than happy with my purchase. Small issue but I would still highly recommend a refurbished chair from BTOD.btod.com

I always have wonderful experiences with BTOD. I bought a standing desk from them a few years ago and had a great experience with quality and setup instructions. Recently I moved and lost one of the components of a desk (a power cable for the wireless charging power grommet), and April sent me a new grommet for free since she couldn't just send the power cable. Couldn't have been easier, and she was wonderful to work with. I wish more businesses treated their customers this way post-purchase!btod.com

I cannot say enough good things about BTOD. I purchased from them because they seem to spend a great deal of their resources on educating consumers about the products they sell. I also noticed that they exhibit honesty and integrity when comparing themselves to other sellers. All of the research I did pointed to their impeccable reputation.I purchased a refurbished desk chair that arrived very well-packed and in like-new condition. I must note that it was refurbished to order yet shipped very quickly. The chair didn't end up being a good fit for me so I inquired about returning it. Janet at BTOD replied within minutes and could not have been nicer or more helpful. The return process was perfect. Everything about BTOD was outstanding and I highly recommend them.btod.com

Video reviews of office chairs were very helpful. I finally settled on a chair, ordered it and it was here within 3 days. I made a bone-headed mistake putting it together. I called customer service, got a person right away, she emailed directions within 20 minutes and I was able to resolve my issue immediately. The product and customer service (Janet *) were both top notch. My chair has a 12-year warranty and I fully expect the company to stand behind it. Im 38 and I cant remember the last time I called a company and someone just answered. A pleasant surprise.btod.com

Purchased a sit/stand desk about 3 years ago but recently the adjustable legs started to become a problem. Emailed BTOD and April was very helpful and getting the desk legs replaced under warranty. I'm on my second major purchase from them over the last 10 years and the customer service is fantastic. The dispatcher's chair I bought when I first went to remote work in 2014 has been phenomenal and the warranty well supported. I recently upgraded to a new Vertidesk and that experience has also been exceptional. I'll keep coming back for surebtod.com

I got a refurbished chair from BTOD and it came in quickly and looking brand new. I had one question regarding the seatback's fit and they promptly sent me a helpful video on how to adjust it. Very positive experience!btod.com
