I bought a 2020 Kia Soul May 2024 and I been having trouble with the vehicle since. It is not able to drive. This my bill of sale and all the repairs that needs to be done on it. But, I can't afford to pay for the repairs and I can't make payments on it. I wish I could get all my money back from the loan and I wish I never paid for it.Customer Answer

We cancelled the Gap (*******) insurance on two autos that we paid off. We are getting refunds on both. ******* told me the refunds were sent to A&B auto in Benwood where we bought the autos and A&B would send a check to me. ******* stated they sent the first check on 11/03/24 and the second one on 11/15/24 to A&B. I have contacted Today at A&B three times and get the run around as to when they will get to it, or they don't have it, its in process etc..... We went through this a year ago when we bought a truck from them and traded it in for the autos we have now. We had to wait almost four months for the refund because they said they forgot to process it. I had to keep calling them about it. I have been nice about it but I feel like I am getting an attitude from this person and she told me that she is only on August and September paperwork and I will have to wait until she gets to it. I don't mind waiting a week or so but this is ridiculous.
They took my money immediately when we bought the autos now I have to wait three or four months to get my refunds, ?????Customer Answer

Bought 2017 Kia sorento almost 2 years ago. Has been eating oil and having engine problems about 4 months into buying it. Reached out to Kia and dealership numerous times because of an active recall on parts in the engine. I was told that they wouldn’t fix it until the check engine light comes on and stays on and the vehicle breaks down and I have to towe it there at my expense. Then they will fix the recall and can’t guarentee that the recall is causing the problem. I’m still going to be paying on this car for 3 years.Business Response

As you can see from the ****** and the service history report, Mr. **** never brought the car back to our service department since he purchased the vehicle on 11/22/2022.
As far as the recall, Kia states under their warranty specifications, the vehicle check engine light has to come on and throw the code that relates to the engine parts on recall. This is mandatory to be eligible for the repairs under the warranty coverage.

I had to take my 2016 Kia Sorento in for 3 recalls on June 20, 2024. 1 of them being the knock sensor. I was told that my motor needed replaced, and was told it would take 30 days. I made several phone calls to them after the 30 days and I’m still being told that they are waiting on parts and still do not have my car. I’m making payments on a car I don’t have. This is my only vehicle and they wouldn’t even give me a rental car. I just keep getting the run around and I really need my car to get to and from work.Business Response

I purchased a vehicle at A&B Kia. After the first month the cars transmission went out. I have a warranty and I’m supposed to receive a rental car. The warranty company declined because they said it would take less than a week for the transmission replacement. That was 5 months ago. Everytime I call they say this employee quit or it’ll be done this week and it never is. They laugh everytime I call and ask what’s going on. I give them 4 weeks between each call and it’s always the same.Business Response

Have never had a good experience here, charged $120 for oil change and tire rotation to never have oil life reset have had a technician get into my brand new car full of oil and grease. I call and they tell me they will do a free interior detail. So come today 6/20/24 I had scheduled my oil change, tire rotation and the interior detail I was owed. Not only did they bring my car out not cleaned at all on the inside, (they washed the outside poorly at that) there was no oil life reset when I asked prior to even going out to get my car that it was done nor was a new mileage sticker placed. Then leave get out of my car and walk around front and notice they chipped the paint on my car. So I go back and they tell me they did not do it and refuse to fix the paint they messed up. I have proof there was no marks on my car when it went in via their pre service inspection report.Customer Answer

We bought our car not even a year ago yet and paid $25,000 for this car drove it off lot and called them on way home from lot to let them know that there was a vibration in the car and horn didn't work and that all the sensors on car kept going of for no reason they had me bring the car back to be looked at and I sat there 6-7 Hours before they came out and said it need new tires and that I would have to bring it back again and that the sensors was most likely acting up do to a lose wire and bumps. Took it back and got the new supposed tires put on and they never mentioned anything about fixing the horn or that the car was in an accident took a friend of mine to point out the difference in paint color and the bondo in the car panels I wrote them threw email to let them know that the sensors all keep going off there is still a vibration in the car and horn still does not work I believe something in frame or drive train may be bent if it can't be fixed I'd like for them to buy back the car for what I have into and I will go elsewhere because I even called in to talk to a manager about all this and he said he would look into it and I never heard anything backInitial Complaint

My car was towed to A& B Kia I
On 3/22/24. I called for an update on 3/29/24 and they reported that they never had my vehicle. The police were called and they also could not find my vehicle and it was put on the national stolen vehicle registry. On 4/8/24 I received a call from the ******* police department and they said that my car had been recovered from another dealership and was brought back to A&B. I asked if an arrest was made or why I wasn’t notified and the officer (**** told me that if I had any questions to direct them to the dealership. I called the dealership and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to a man name* **** who told me that my vehicle was under the name of the tow company and that’s why they couldn’t find it. I then asked if he could verify the day it arrived and he could not. He transferred me to the service manager who told me my car was not under the tow company name, but under the name ******** ****** which is where I purchased the vehicle almost 2 years ago. After my husband arrived home after work on 4/9/24 we went to see if my vehicle was in fact there and it was. I’m glad it was recovered, but I feel like this was all felt very bad and should be addressed.Customer Answer

Back in August of 2021 I bought a 2018 **** ******* from A&B Kia.
I put $7000 down on the car and have to pay on it until 2028, and I still owe $15,000
Back in October, the service transmission light popped on, and has every day since then. When purchasing the car, I stated I wanted a bumper to bumper warranty, and was never given that. They provided me with the 560 dealership warranty.
I had called about using this warranty and they said it wasn’t valid because there was already 60,000 miles on the motor, and when buying the car there was 31,000. The business is refusing to do anything and my next steps with be getting a lawyer if you guys aren’t able to help me with this situation.Business Response

****** **** purchased this vehicle with 31,398 miles on it as you can see from the purchase agreement and car fax. If there is now 80,000 miles on the vehicle she has put 48,602 miles on the vehicle at this point. The factory warranty has run out and she did not choose to purchase an extended warranty. Any repairs would be totally her responsibility.
