      I purchased a bed from ******* on 2/23/23 for $731.40. This bed was supposed to be delivered somewhere around the 9th-17th from Hackbarth Delivery Company out of the Charleston/Nitro area of WV in 3 separate boxes. I have called numerous times to check on delivery of the bed, and each time am told they can only find record of one package and that they received this in their warehouse on 3/8 from ******** Finally yesterday on 3/22, I got a random call from a delivery person and all that was delivered were my bed rails. Paperwork left in my home states they delivered all 3 boxes and they did not. Only the rails. I called this morning and again they cannot find record of the packages even though their paperwork clearly indicates that each piece of my bed has an invoice number with them. At this point, I feel it is theft and would like an investigation into the matter.

      On Oct 4th i ordered a sectional sofa from ************** They shipped it from NC to their last mile delivery company called Hackbarth Delivery in Nitro WV. It arrived at their location on Oct 19th. After weeks of trying to reach anyone at this company i finally was contacted by a man named James and told it will would be delivered the following Tues. It was not and was then contacted by a lady named Megan on Nov 18 saying she would take care of things. There had been many times after this i tried to contact them again about a delivery date with no response or reply. I had begged for them to just get it to me so it could be over with. Finally on Nov 25th 2 delivery men brought my sectional. Though it was only 6 of the 7 pieces i ordered. The end recliner with the armrest was not there. I immediately called James. His response was at least you got most of it so you can sit down. Since the 25th i have been told multiple times days it could be delivered and also told for sure it would be here Tues Dec 6. It never came. I talked to James that evening and he was not concerned and told me to call the next day. I did and with no answer. It is now Friday Dec 9 and have still not been able to contact him or the lady at the company. I would just like the rest of the sectional i paid $2400 for. They had said they deliver in my area weekly yet they wont bring the last recliner to me. I dont know why and im beyond upset and stressed at this point. I shouldnt have to beg a company to deliver items that i purchased. Please help me to get this finished BBB, you are my last hope as i have also spoke to the furniture company with no avail and the main office for Hackbarth delivery as well. Thank you!

      I ordered furniture from *************. I was informed that the couch was delivered to the "white glove" delivery terminal and given a phone number to call to schedule my delivery. Upon calling that # I was redirected to call another number, where my order was actually located in Nitro WV with Hackbarth Delivery Services. I began calling on 7/22/22 which continued to ring through to the main calling terminal in ***** ******** where I was told that the Nitro location was under staffed and that I would need to call again on Monday in order to reach someone. I called at 8am, when a lady answered the phone in Nitro, confirming it was the Nitro location and confirming my order was in fact there, She stated that my couch could be delivered that week but was unsure of the date. I would receive a text update the day prior to delivery. I have called back every day since for an update on the couch delivery and now no one answers the phone at the Nitro location and I get rerouted to the ******* location where I get the same answer each time. That they can not see my order in their system, that Nitro is understaffed and now, as of 7/28/22 that the "Regional Manager" is at this location trying to sort things out. I was told at 10am on 7/28 that someone would be calling me back that day with an answer from the Regional Manager and I received nothing. I even told the lady I was willing to drive down there or have someone who was driving through the area soon, pick it up for me but they have been extremely non-compliant and resistant. I just want to know where my furniture is and an estimated delivery date, as it is already past the original delivery date. I understand if people are short handed but to simply not answer phones for a week is ridiculous especially when people have paid thousands of dollars for furniture.

      Delivery of a refrigerator was to happen today! It didn’t! This is not the first time this company has messed up on a delivery to us. No contact, no idea about rescheduling, no nothing!! My husband even went to their warehouse in Nitro, wv, there was not a single delivery truck on the premises which I guess means the drivers take the truck home with them with our refrigerator in it!!! Total incompetence!!!
