I'm writing this complaint about Pioneer Honda/Mazda. I have been waiting on them to send ******** ******* **** body shop Clarksburg WV parts in order to fix my vehicle. My vehicle is a Honda HRV 2023. The body shop above has had my vehicle for the past 3 months. Every time I call the body shop, they state to me that they are still waiting on the parts from Pioneer Honda in Parkersburg, WV. The parts that were needed to fix my vehicle is the following, radiator, ac condenser, and wheel modeling for the passenger side. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and I can't have this stress on me regarding my car. It's hard for me to find a ride to and from work. All I have been getting in this whole issue is the run around. I believe this needs to be resolved.Business Response

To whom it may concern,
I do, country club has been updated every time they have called in asking about the condenser in question.
They have the radiator for a while now but, can not complete the repair without the condenser that is on a critical b/o.
Which is set to release on June 26th which they have been informed several times about. We can not control how fast we get these backorder parts.
We have also called all the showing Honda dealers on the locator to try and help but none of these dealers were willing to come off the condenser.
As for the molding it is on a back order till July 1st. We had also informed country club to have the customer call the honda customer service to help with speeding
up the process or at least helping with the cost.
This has been an ongoing process since march 7th when the initial order was placed with them.
This is in response to the ******* complaint. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Chad ******Initial Complaint

Hello, I purchased a 2018 Kia Optima Lx, on January the 6th. Since I have had on going issues with oil leaking, and multiple other problems like coil packs, spark plugs, and more. I had a warranty on my car that was supposed to last for the next 3 years, but Pioneer Honda has dishonored my warranty. My warranty covered power train, and included a few more perks just in case something like this were to happen. I did pay in the full amount. My kia car has been to shop over 10 times for the same issue; oil consumption. Yet, this problem is still on going, and I have been paying out of pocket for everything including all the oil that I have to put in my car in order to go anywhere. I would also like to mention, that the sale of this car was very unorganized/unprofessional, when it came to buying my car, they sent me home with a sticky note with the price on it, and didn't give me my purchase agreement until 6 months later. I had made multiple attempts to retrieve this purchase agreement, and it wasn't until I had to send my boyfriend to get it, that they gave it to me.Business Response

To whom it may concern.
She has brought the car in multiple times, not 10, for the oil consumption problem, and not one time was the vehicle outside of the manufactures guidelines. We even told her the min the vehicle was low on oil to bring the car directly to us and we would then be able to diag it properly. This she never did. And as far as her purchase agreement is concerned, she would of received a copy of that the day she bought her car.
Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed is shown below. This isn't being settled I have had this car for almost 7 months and there has been a serious decline in my engine, I also have to put oil in my car everyday just because it runs out so quickly, I've had about 5 oil changes since having this car as well.

I bought a truck back in September from the pioneer of murdoch in Parkersburg wv..they sold it to me without an inspection sticker because the tires were dry rotted and bald. And they refuse to fix the issue...so I had to come out of NY pocket even tho I just got the truck. So I would like someone to refund my money of fire the people who refused to fix the issues. Also I have proof of them falsifying documents to make the sale.Business Response

To whom it may concern,
Mr. ***** bought a vehicle that came from our sister store which is in Ohio. As it was an Ohio vehicle it did not require a sticker. When we sold it to Mr.***** we had an agreement for him to bring it to us the next day so that we could put a WV inspection sticker on his vehicle. He, however, did not come the next day, and instead waited a few months to bring it to us at which time the tires would no longer pass inspection. Had he brought it to us we he was supposed to the tires would have passed. Also, the manager and salesperson that sold Mr.***** this vehicle have no idea what he is talking about when he mentioned us falsifying documents in order to make the sale, we did not falsify anything.Customer Answer

August 2022 I was shopping for a 4-WD SUV, I went to Pioneer Honda Mazda VW. Salesman asks what I’m looking for, I tell him 4-wd with 3rd row seat. He finds one in computer it’s at Belpre location. We go over I drive it back. During drive I ask how to engage 4-wd. He tells me it engages automatically when it’s needed. Figure out today it is not 4-wd only front wheel drive. What I want is them to give me trade in of what I paid to go towards a 4-wd. Refuse to do that. Want to give me $15,000 less and expect me to finance another vehicle. Giving me a severely upside down loan. The vehicle I purchased was Mis-represented twice at time of purchase. Was told it was 4-wd unfortunately I did not look up the vin number myself, I was under the impression that when I ask for 4 -wd and am told that it IS 4-wd from a dealer that I should have been able to trust that. Buyer beware I guess. I do have a call into the attorney generals office, although I am not sure anything can be doneBusiness Response

To whom it may concern,
According to the salesperson that sold this customer their vehicle he did not tell her the vehicle was AWD. He said the customer drove multiple cars before they settled on the one they bought and that there is a chance they got the vehicles confused. As they did drive some vehicles that were AWD. However, we are willing to make every reasonable effort to assist the customer with this situation. Thank you.

The car lots response is a complete fabrication. I did NOT test drive any other cars. The vehicle I purchased is the ONLY vehicle I drove. When I arrived at the dealership, the salesman asked what I was looking for, I told him I wanted a 4 WD or an AWD sport utility with a 3rd row seat if possible. They didn’t have any on that lot so went inside and he looked on the computer to see if there was any on any of their lots.He said there was one on their Belpre lot and showed me a picture. He asked if I’d like to ride over to Belpre with him and drive that vehicle back. I agreed. On the way back I was asking questions about it and asked point blank how do I get it into 4 WD. His response was it kicks in automatically when needed. I liked the vehicle so I purchased it. Once I realized that it wasn’t 4 WD or AWD I called the car lot, went in to discuss the issue.
I wanted them to give me the money I paid for vehicle that I may put towards a vehicle that has what I wanted. At one point the man that sold me the vehicle even stated that he just can’t believe that it wasn’t a 4WD. I truly don’t think he did this maliciously, I think he made a mistake. But they are unwilling to remedy it. And then to make up some story that I test drove several that day?? It’s very insulting.

This customer bought this car from us on 4-9-21 as he states. On 4-6-21, we did our regular service and state inspection and made the car available for sale. In the complaint the customer states that he came to our dealership on 5-19-21, at which point he also states we removed a rejection sticker and put on a new one. This, however, is not true. First off, we did a state inspection on 4-6-21, so he would have already had an inspection sticker that was good for 2021. Secondly, we only have records of the customer being here on, 4-15-21 with an oil pressure problem, which we sent him to our ********* store to take care of that issue, and then the next time we have record of him being here is on 5-5-22, to get a state inspection done. According to our documentation, the customer was here, was on 4-9-21, when he bought the car, on 4-15-21 when we helped him to resolve his oil pressure issue, on 5-5-22 when he brought it in for a state inspection, and then on November 7th of 2022 when his car started having issues. On November 7th of this year, he brought the vehicle in with problems, the warranty company would not cover the issue because he has modified his car since buying it, and as we all know warranty companies do not warranty things that have been modified. We were willing to do the repair, but he was going to have to pay for it because he modified the car. If he wouldn't have done that the repair would have been covered and it would have been fixed in a timely manner.Sincerely,**** ******General Sales ManagerBusiness Response

To whom it may concern,
1) We processed his repair claim through the extended service contract company and was able to get all covered items reimbursed.
2) We offered to reimburse him any additional costs associated with his repair even though it a) went to another location on his own accord and b) some of the repairs he acknowledged prior to taking delivery of the vehicle
3) We over nighted the title per our title records
4) If he is dissatisfied with the truck we are happy to try and get him into a different Truck and work with him
