    First, I will say the photos themselves are great. HOWEVER, We literally had to threaten legal action in order to get them back. We booked her for a maternity + newborn session. Her contract states 4-6 weeks for photo delivery. We completed the maternity session about 2 weeks before our newborn session (surprise early baby!). We received the maternity photos at 7weeks post session. Which is fine, she said she was having some family health issues. We completed the newborn session on March 8. On April 22, she provided an update that she was delayed bc of family health issues, again fine with that and willing to be patient. Then, she ghosted us completely. I sent email and text messages every week/ couple weeks from May 19 onward, simply asking her to stay in touch since I thought she was still having family issues. I didn't even want the photos, just contact. Nothing. In mid July, we looked around online at the "mentions" section on her business Facebook page (that we obviously didn't see before booking), and saw that she had a habit of ghosting people and never getting photos back. Someone said the only way they were able to get theirs was by elevating it to legal action. So, on July 18 we advised her we would be taking legal action to get the photos if she did not return them by Friday, July 21. Lo and behold, the same day she responds. She said she would get the photos to us "asap tomorrow." She missed that deadline she set, so I reminded her of ours before legal action. We got the photos the next day. It's an absolute shame and a sham that she would do this to families who entrust her, as a "professional," to capture such a special and fleeting time. Do not use her or you risk never getting your photos back.
