They were hired by the Air Force to move our home goods and had to pickup a month early and put our stuff in storage then deliver a month after we got to our new station. When they arrived there were only three men to unload a huge amount of stuff and they were trying to do a lot of it by themselves they dropped my treadmill off the dolly into our flowers, hit my lights when coming through the entryway, dropped my fire table off the truck about five feet high, broke all my glass marbles for the fire table and disconnected a hose so I can no longer use it broke pieces off our elliptical and treadmill, cracked the wood and damaged our cherry solid wood entertainment wall unit, broke my kids Occulus, Amazon tablet and Nintendo switch, lost one of our Occulus, broke our couch in several pieces broke the feet to the couch, the recliner wouldn’t recline right, there were broken Corel dishes which are supposed to be unbreakable!!!! Damaged the handles on the wall unit, and damaged other things we didn’t claim everything just the things that were truly damaged like mattress with a huge hole in the bottom and covered in water stains, the mattress covers I left on were badly damaged, the boxes with electronics were badly damaged, and they offered for $20,000 damaged goods they offered $2000 yea right so we contact the Air Force and still they offer a measly $5000 that barely replaces the couch and maybe the treadmill, the company tried saying cause their people didn’t put a sticker that somehow they didn’t ship it or we couldn’t prove they shipped it it’s been a huge inconvenience and we were forced to move and had this happen now we have broken items we have been having to use cause I don’t have $20,000 hanging out to replace it all. If I were anyone wanting to ship goods I would stay far away from this company they are crooks who obviously hire people who don’t know what they are doing or don’t care about keeping your things safe and they break it then refuse to replace it!

Tier one is the worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure of being forced to use. If you have a choice in the matter don’t use this company. I am in the middle of a move back to the states and my house hold goods were in ***** in storage. When the driver arrived he did not call prior to his arrival, it was just him and another older man who said he was retired. My shipment was over 5000# and these men seemed desperate to get home, they had two other deliveries before me. They brought everything up, then the drive went over the paperwork and said as I’m initialing the paperwork “I’m only required to unpack and set up big furniture like mattresses and beds.” I asked him if it would be possible to get a dunnage pick up and he said yes you just have to call this number on the paperwork. He kindly circled the number. After he left, I called the number And it was the company that contracted tier 1. They said they would not be able to do a dunnage removal to get a hold of the company that did the delivery. They also said that removal of dunnage is only possible if the driver unpacks everything. So I called tier 1 the same day as the delivery and they said that they would try to get someone back to my house to pick up the boxes. I never got a call back that day. I called back every day until Thursday when I received a call and they said that there was nothing they could do because I had signed the paperwork, saying that it had been unpacked to my satisfaction. The customer service representative said that they had put in a request to get more funding for the dunnage removal but they’re usually denied. I argued that since the company had hired a driver that lied to me, they should be responsible for the funds for the removal, I did not win this argument. I was told that the driver said he didn’t say any of that to me, and obviously the company doesn’t have to worry about their customers because the military will pay them regardless.

    Good Afternoon Ma'am
We do apologize for the miscommunication with the debris removal. QC is in the process of addressing this with the drivers superiors.

Very disappointed in our US government to continue to use companies like this especially after receiving all these negative reviews. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to my move. I retired from the Army and this would be my final move. 14,000 pounds of furniture. I must admit, the packers and movers did a nice job. Just a couple issues, but nothing to worry about. Just like others mentioned, not all items were individually itemized. I took before pictures and video. In all my moves, this one was probably one of the better ones, but there were a couple items with some damage. A brand new dining table, another small table, some lamp shades, stools, broken vases, and my retirement gift which was a cigar cabinet humidor. I filed the claim and they denied almost every single item stating that there is no proof it was damaged in the move. They denied my humidor claim because they said it wasn't in the inventory. They offered $9 for my lamp shades that were packed in a box with heavy stuff on top. I even provided photos. How do I replace 4 lamp shades with $9? We all know that these packers use every code possible to cover their a** and that's why I took pictures and video. So to say that they can't prove during the move is just a low class move from a company selected by our government to take care of military families. It's very disappointing to say the least. Clearly this is a worthless company that has no interest in taking care of military families. What a shame. They shouldn't be in business if this is how they operate.

    Good Afternoon Sir,
We were very sorry to hear of the damages and that you were not happy with the claim settlement process. I see where you transferred your claim to the MCO. If MCO decides we were incorrect, they will override our decision. Thank you

Worst experience I have ever had in our 15 years of military pcsing! Drivers were very unprofessional and careless with my things. Didn’t provide me with an inventory check list until I asked for it. I have a few boxes and furniture missing and when I called to complain no one has followed through and only have gotten several emails directing me to file a claim, which I’m unable to do because there are boxes missing numbers and based on the description on the form it’s not very helpful. It’s one thing to file a claim in damages items and it’s another when you’re missing items that have been in storage for 2 years. I am beyond upset not only over the unpleasant experience but because one the items I know this is missing is my daughters baby box that hold everything from her birth to 1 yr birthday and no money can make up for that loss!

    Good Morning,
We do not have any knowledge of servicing your move that I can find by searching your name. Was this your move and are you in the military?

I would also like to add that I received this email today,
    Hello,
We apologize for your frustration. Government regulations state that we only communicate with the service member regarding the shipment. We are unable to provide information relative to the claim filing.
    ******* ******* ****** ************** ************ * ****** ************ * ****** ****** **** *** ********** *** ****** ******** on behalf of your TSP
I find it very ironic how no one has cared to verify if I was the service member at any point through this process nor asked if I had POA until now that they have a upset customer and the damage is done. I think it’s a little to late to try and follow military regulations at this point. I do have a POA as my husband and I agreed upon this move that we would be separating therefore we inquired about getting the POA for this reason but not once did anyone verify if I was the service member or anything.

    Hello,
After researching, this was your spouses move, which is why we could not locate any move under your name. I can tell you that all the missing items you speak of have been located and we notified your spouse of this on 10/31/22 along with the information that a driver is being secured to deliver the remaining items.
Thank you and Have a Blessed Day

I served 8 years in the military, and Tier One was the worst movers with whom I have worked. All of my clothes which were hanging up were thrown into a box resulting in several pieces being ruined, specifically men's ties. When I attempted to make a claim, they refused to acknowledge that my items were ruined (i.e., I could not iron or steam the ties to remove the creases and I can not wear them ever again in a professional setting).
They kept saying they were "just wrinkled." Apparently, Tier One considers wearing ruined clothing to be acceptable in a professional setting.
Additionally, my TV was damaged, and I have several missing items.
The company sent two people to pack and load me out in one day. if I had not pre-packed almost my entire apartment, they would not have finished in one day. I told the agent this prior to the day of the move. They were at my residence for over 10 hours. Had I not packed myself, they would not have finished in one day.
The company thrives on having a customer base with minimal outlets to address wrongs.
If anyone knows how to get a company blacklisted from every serving military members again, I would gladly spend my time and money to ensure Tier One gets a permanent spot on this list.

Hello Sir, Our records indicate that you have accepted the settlement offer for the items we damaged and are still currently in the process of a price for the ties. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate all feedback so that we may address any possible issues or failures.

    Hello Ma'am,
We do apologize for having to reschedule your delivery. The crew that were to deliver your household goods on 8/16 became very ill and we had no choice but to reschedule your delivery for 8/20. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and have provided you with inconvenience claim information.

What a terrible company you are forced to work with if you're doing a military move. This company acts as a broker and is a shinning example of how our government will award a contract to anyone that can do the job cheaper. They are extremely hands off and customer service acts as a sentry when you try to talk to anyone in operations to find out what's going on with your shipment. The inconvenience claim you can file is laughable and a smack in the face. They are extremely lazy with following up with you and the companies they hire. They cannot or will not provide you with any objective information you requested and i promise you will get off the phone even more frustrated than before you called. Its almost better to not call at all, but.....my stuff right! I wouldn't hire this company to move anything if i had a choice.

The shipment is in my wife’s name as it is her final PCS move to HOR. I think you misunderstood the purpose of my review. It wasn’t an attempt to force your hand to do anything, the least of which is to respond. What good is responding going to do for my family. It was a review of your service based on my experience. That’s it! The dialog happened with the people closest to my move and they did absolutely nothing. “Responding” would be you attempt to either save face or pacify me. Neither of which I’m interested in. Your company has had numerous opportunities to help, to be professional, to be courteous and to “respond.” All of the responses from your company equated to “we have to wait an entire month to get our things even though they are only 25 minutes away and that’s after arriving weeks late and with no guarantee to arrive on the new protected date. Also, not to mention your company’s employee’s attitudes are very “shut up and color” about it.
