Bought A KIA ******** from Halladay Motors, turns out they did not have a clear title before or after sale, and because of this they have taken 3 months to get me the title... I am currently driving a felony, not sure how this is okay or even legal, I would love for the BBB to impress upon Halladay Motors the importance of following through on the legal way to sell vehicles.

We have made the payoff, received the title, and received the lien release for this vehicle.  Since the company that this vehicle was financed with has changed hands the lien release does not reflect the name of the lienholder on the title.  WYDOT (************************************) is informed, and ************** is also informed.  I am working the lienholder to provide us documentation acceptable to the county showing that the two business are the same company.  The lienholder has a menu which allows us to send a request but no phone number.  We have submitted a few requests, but the documents provided are to this point unacceptable to the county.  Since we have had a significant amount of correspondence without resolution, we did receive a phone call and told them exactly what we need.  We are hoping this is cleared up and offered to pay any late fees associated with Mr ****** registering his vehicle.  Although we expect to have this all resolved fairly soon, we understand the frustration this has caused Mr ****** and would offer him a full refund if he'd like to return the vehicle instead of waiting for this to be resolved.

On Aug 22nd I dropped off my truck at Halladay motors inc. To have them check the 4WD on it for me. Since the 4X4 wasn't engaging. I get a call back and they told me that the range control actuator connector was corroded and needed to be replaced. A day and $556.33 dollars later the truck was half a** fixed. I asked to see the part they replaced and was told they had throwing it away in the dumpster. So up on arrival back to my house I proceeded to crawl underneath the truck I wanted to see the connector they replaced and that was when I found the poor quality and half a** job they did on my truck. They use electrical **** connectors to splice some wires back together nothing wrong with that. But what they didn't do was to properly apply heat to all the **** connectors and shrink it around the wire to keep moisture from getting inside the splice. Or use shrink wrap tubing to protect and enhance the longevity of the splice. I took my truck right back to their shop and ask ******* to please double check their work something doesn't seem right to me. He argued back and fort with me saying I trust my technician there should be no problems my work is guaranteed. Eventually he agreed to put my truck back on the lift and said we will shrink ******* for you. It turns out they never did all they did was wrap it up with black electrical tape. and nicked a wire in the process. So I called the manager **** the next day and explain everything that had happened. He basically said I'm right and you're wrong we went out of our way and wrapped it up with electrical tape to make you happy but GM doesn't required us to do anything other than that. Then he proceeded to questioning me about some other parts that need to be replaced like the engine cooling lines, front struts, etc. I told him I can't afford to pay anybody $320 an hour to work on my truck he said well you work at ****. Very unprofessional behavior from a manager in my opinion searching and looking people up on the web.

The repair was done according to GM guidelines.  The repair is also guaranteed by GM (and Halladay Motors) as well. When the customer requested that we put his truck on the lift and look at his concern, we obliged.  We then went an additional step to address his concerns.  The job we did solved his problem.  Our service manager and service advisor were addressed regarding any inappropriate discourse the customer may have felt.  I am happy to reimburse the customer half of the final bill for his concerns.  As for the quality of service performed, we go by General Motors guidelines, and they (and we) stand by the work performed and it is guaranteed by us and GM via parts and labor warranty for 12 months.  If this is agreeable, I will send a check to the address we have on file for half of the total final bill.  It is our goal for every customer to be satisfied with our service and parts departments.
