    I placed an order in June for an item marked as "Pre-order" with a shipping date listed of July. Over the next 2 months, the company kept pushing the advertised shipping date back (First to August, then September) on their website, but provided no notification to me. Instead, I had to reach out to the company anytime I wanted an update. Although the customer support agent was polite and prompt, the agent was unable to offer anything beyond sympathetic platitudes. On my second inquiry, I was provided a timeframe update that the order would ship in the "early to mid weeks of September"it never did. At the same time as I submitted my second inquiry, I also submitted a complain with the *** and my state ************************* as I believed the company was in violation of rules around advertised shipping dates and notification of delays. Around 4 weeks later, now past the "early to mid weeks of September" timeline, the company canceled my order without direct notification.

    We are writing in response to Complaint ID ****** regarding the delay and eventual cancellation of a customers pre-order with our company. We take this matter very seriously and would like to provide a formal explanation and resolution.


    The customer placed a pre-order with us in June, with an estimated shipping date listed for July. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen supply chain issues and extended quality assurance protocols, we had to push back the shipping date multiple times, first to August and then to September. We regret that the customer was not proactively informed of these changes and had to reach out to our team for updates. While our customer service agents promptly responded and did their best to assist, we acknowledge that the information provided did not meet the customer's expectations, and for that, we sincerely apologize.


    As part of our company's commitment to delivering high-quality products, the item in question underwent additional quality control measures to ensure it met our standards. This, in turn, contributed to the delay. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the order was not ready for shipment within the revised timeframe of early to mid-September, and we ultimately decided to cancel the order to prevent further inconvenience to the customer.


    We have processed a full refund for the customer and notified them to monitor their account for the refund's credit in the coming days. We take full responsibility for the lack of communication and the extended delays and have taken steps to improve our processes to prevent such issues from occurring in the future.


    Once again, we apologize to both the customer and the ******************** for this unfortunate situation, and we appreciate your understanding as we work towards improving our service.

    A week ago I ordered and I received a **** tracking label generated for shipment. The tracking is showing that the **** has to pick up the parcel. After a week, I see the same status. After sending them several emails, I received the same message to wait ***** hours. Eight days gone and still the same response. I don't know if they are legit and how are they doing? Business in the *************. They don't have any customer service and phone number. Am I living in the third world where such things happen? How can I get back my money? I read several reviews that show an identical issue.

In response to the consumer's complaint, he ordered a pre- sale product and we are still on the process of fulfilling orders. We have not received any correspondence from the consumer regarding his purchase but we had gone ahead and priortized his order so that it will be shipped immedidately.

    I purchased a charging cable directly from Lectron and for the most part it worked fine. But once every ***** charging cycles, a fault would occur that stopped the charging cycle and I would have unplug and re-plug the cable to start again. As a former engineer I surmised that it was due to a thermal overload from a component inside and after several emails back and forth with *******, I convinced them to send me a replacement cable (after I sent them the one I had). The replacement cable (received in December 2022) went unused for a while because I purchased a permanent charging system from ChargePoint and use the charging cable when I summer in ********** at a friends house. However, I noticed that while it started delivering 9.6 kW (~40 amps) after ~10 minutes it started lowering the delivery to 8.5 kW and then stabilized at **** kW (~30 amps). I felt this again was a cable issue and went back and forth via email with Lectron. They suggested alternative issues as being the problem (Power limitations, Battery limitations, Charging infrastructure constraints, etc.). However, I countered with reasons why these issues were not the problem and offered to send them back their cable at my cost to get a replacement cable. Their response was that we do not replace cables after a year, but I pointed out that the replacement cable was delivered 7 months ago. Nonetheless, they have not responded to my last two emails. The last email I sent countered that I purchased a Mustart [MUSTART Level 2 Portable EV Charger (40 Amp, 240 Volt, 25ft ******* ******** Vehicle Charger Plug-in EV Charging Station with NEMA *****P] and I have used it with no problems. It has delivered 9.6 kW throughout the charging cycle (to 80%). Based on the two cables received from Lectron, the fundamental problem seems to be quality control and customer support.
