      WORST AIRLINE EVER SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! daughter was due to come home on Dec 19/ 22 had to cancel on the 15th due to a death, called in to Swoop they said they couldn't refund , would only refund one way but if we bought extra cancellation insurance for an extra $383.23 they would give us a full refund , they said it would take up to 45 days to see the credit back on our card and today is MARCH 9 /23 84 days later and we are still fighting with them so now we are out the flight plus the extra $383.23 that they ******* off of us, NO customer service help at all!! ,they pass us on to the number that sold us the extra insurance and half the time they never answer, we have to use different phones so someone will answer.Date of experience: March 08, 2023

      Avoid this company at all costs. Flight was delayed over 4 hours for absolutely no reason and not a single person apologized throughout the entire experience. The best way to describe this airline is an automated nightmare because customer service is non-existent. There is no customer service line to contact; everything is done through automated forms and then you get an automated response 22 days later asking for all of the information that you submitted on the form. There is no one to email, no one to speak with, and the *** even has a lock on their LinkedIn profile so you cant contact them through any avenues. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

      After the flight was cancelled 20 minutes before we were supposed to board, I was given the option to take a flight the next day with hotel included. They promised meal vouchers and transportation vouchers, but reneged on that and said we'd have to submit receipts to be reimbursed. It took a lot of back and forth over hours with the customer service representative (over ******** messenger) to get a working link and instructions on how to submit my receipts; their answers were always short and never fully answered my questions a running theme with Swoop's customer service experience.When checking in to the hotel Swoop representatives assured me would be free of charge, I was forced to pay a resort fee in order to complete my check-in. The hotel informed me that Swoop was supposed to cover this charge, but had neglected to do so for multiple passengers staying at this hotel that day. I had to ask multiple times for confirmation that this charge would be reimbursed, and each representative that responded evaded or completely ignored the question. I still have no clue whether I'll be refunded for this charge.If you're able, I'd definitely recommend spending the extra $200 on a more legitimate and organized airline to avoid a thoroughly frustrating and chaotic experience.

      Cancelled my daughters flight a few hours before boarding and offered absolutely no other options for her to get home....this time. The would not communicate with her via chat or any other means. As a parent, we forwarded $1000 to her, allowing her to book a flight with another airline. I highly suggest you avoid using this airline at all costs. The cheap fares are simply a scam. Swoop cancels the flight and then suggest booking a later ******* flight at 4X the cost, which is what happened the on her initial flight. In summary, my daughters return trip from *** to *** initially cost approximately $400.00, and has ballooned to over $1600.00 CAD. Note: Swoop is owned and operated by *******. DO NOT FLY SWOOP!!!

      Swoop is Russian roulette. If your flight is cancelled you cannot get your money back. If they fly, ok sometimes you can get good value. **************** is worse in world. Never reply. If the flight is cancelled you are on your own and will never see your money back. Best to book without any upgrades you will lose less money when they cancel.The only contact is with a useless Chatbot that refers you to their web site which refers you back to the Chatbot!

      ***** ** Don’t do it. Find another way to get there. My connecting flight to Swoop got delayed and I tried for an hour to get in touch with anyone at Swoop to help get me onto a later flight. There’s no hope apparently to neither speak nor chat with a rep there even after going through their computer answering machine. I got so frustrated I forfeited the cost of my round trip ticket just to not have to ever deal with them again. There, Now I feel better.

      Just a complete clown show of a company. Cancelled my flight 3 hours before take-off, offered to fly me out the next day instead. When I told them that didn't work as I would miss the event I was flying too they told me there was nothing they could do. No refund, no credit, no help. Also, They do not even have a customer service phone line. I had to wait 8 hours for them to respond to a ******** message that said "sorry, but we aren't going to do anything to help." If you like the idea of throwing money down and possibly receiving absolutely nothing other than frustration for it I guess this is the airline for you. I'm legitimately confused as to how they are allowed to function this way.

      Worst customer service ever!!! Our flight today was cancelled 30 minutes prior to boarding. We were flying to ******** to *************** Feb 10 to 17. They offered a flight Feb 14 returning Feb 17. When I went on the email to cancel the flight offer I accidentally hit accept. Have been trying to reach someone to correct this error IMMEDIATELT AFTER I HIT ACCEPT. We have been up since 1:30 am for this flight and exhausted. You can only reach a computer generated response and it will not let me cancel the booking so I am stuck with the fee. The government needs to shut down scamming airlines like this!!!!! I will never book again or fly with SWOOP

      Could say the worst flight I've ever been to. They pretend it's a cheap flight and you end up paying more than most airlines, they charge you for everything you could imagine while they have disastrous quality. When we landed to the ******* airport from ****** ******, our luggage was delayed for 1. 5 hour for no reason. Around 200 tired passenger were waiting around the conveyer and not a single cutomer service showed up to let us know what was going on. A staff in the aireport even called for the customer service and no one showed up. They charge you to the last cent when receiving the money, but when it comes to service, no one is reponsive.I'M SO GLAD THAT THIS WAS MY LAST EXPERINCE EVER, FLYING WITH THIS AIRLINE.
