This company has taken $18.99 out of my account which had $0 in it. I had never agreed or signed for anything to take out any money. This is a very sneaky and dishonest tactic and it has caused me quite a bit of distress, trying to resolve the issue with my bank.Business Response

I am explaining this better but many others have reported on BBB, while searching for a payday loan, ''Credit Value'' got my banking info (though I don't recall dealing with them) . However I believe they use another company name that poses as a payday loan provider to get your information. You provide said company with your banking info (which is always required to receive a payday loan). 2-3 days later Credit Value sends you an email. The name doesn't ring a bell because you have never seen it. You are also no longer looking for a loan. It has been 3 days. You probably ignore it.
In this email it says:

1. Obtain a copy of your credit report

The agreement states its a service that costs $18.99/week. All your information is on the contract at the bottom except ''signature of member:________________"
Without signing this and sending it back (saying you agree to the document) they start debiting your account for $18.99/week every Friday. If you don't have $18.99 you will be charged NSF fees from your bank (approx. $45)
Just because you send me a document with my name and address on it does not make it binding.
How has this company been able to carry on with a business?
Why haven't they been shut down?
Could BBB not have done something by now?
My next goal is to identify exactly what ''payday loan" name is used to get your info but it is not Credit Value. They do not offer Payday loans yet everyone reporting them here were applying for payday loans. This has been going on for 2 yearsInitial Complaint

I have been repeatedly charged by credit value on a bank account that's been inactive for some time. It racked up fees that I am having to pay. I've looked at my phone, my emails honestly I've never heard of credit value and I want them to cover the cost. They are clearly an ******* business. I am rejecting this response because:I signed up for a credit card and decided not to go ahead with it as it was not what I needed. The company, without telling me starting to take payments out bi weekly. I had to stop it at my bank which cost me further. I raised a complaint and heard nothing . I emailed them several times and each time I call they say to email but then they never reply. This has been going on since august. I am looking for the money the money they took(**** ****) and then compensation for the lack of anything in their side.

I was looking to get a payday loan and found credit value. I never fully applied for a loan. This was on Nov 10th. 4 days later I was charged ***** for something I never signed up for. They just went right into my bank account and took the money without permission.
