      They ****,plain and simple. I was told that I needed a new receiver near the end of November because of new satellites. I made payment arrangements, then made my payment. Called a week later like I was told to so I can confirm payment and enquire about my new receiver. Then I was informed by ******* that I need to make a payment in order to get the new reciever....again!!! Is it mandatory for your staff to lie to customers?? I'm on a fixed income and I just don't like the way customers are treated. I know I'm not the only person who feels this way. All this happened within the last 2 weeks. Today is December 14,2022. Have a good day...maybe. I'd wish you all a merry Christmas, but I'd be lying....just like your representatives.

      Been on the phone with them for 12 hrs, waiting at home for 16hr for technician to no avail, my dish hasn't been working for 1 mth, still no service, no gratitude or bonuses for all my time waisted.

      The worst customer service We were with **** cable for 30 years and moved They had no cable in the area so we got stuck with Shaw direct. I should also say we had QShaw direct at our cabin for over 10 years with no real issues. But here back in the city there is no comparison. If we get a drop of rain or clouds the satellite service is gone It is unfortunate that there service levels changed We are defiantly looking at different alternative

While it is true that adverse weather conditions my impact the signal of any satellite system, if this happens too often this may indicate other technical issues. Our technical support team is available to troubleshoot these situations. If the problem persists and cannot be resolved over the phone, the phone agent can schedule a service call if a technician is available in your area. The technician will then determine the best course of action once on site, up to and including repositioning the dish if that is required to guarantee the best signal reception. Thank you.

      I have been with Shaw direct for a long time. I had called them regarding the 180 day seasonal break....it's rediculous . If I guarantee that I will be connecting again in following year in the month of May,why do I have to pay the 30 reconnection fee ?Because it's longer than 180 days....? Customer loyalty has gone out the door. I have cancelled completely...

Seasonal Breaks are offered by Shaw Direct as a means to interrupt the service, for a short time to a long period of time. Seasonal Breaks go from a minimum of 14 days to 180 days and we also offer Seasonal Breaks over 180 days. For any Seasonal Break between 14 to 180 days, there is no charge during the break or at the reconnection. For Seasonal Breaks over 180 days, there is an administrative charge of 30.00$ upon reconnection. This charge applies to all our customers. Thank you very much and have a nice day.

      Extremely Disappointed. I was offered upgraded HDPVR 830 receivers (2) to replace my old HDPVR 630 receivers but had to agree to a two year contract. One would expect an upgrade to be better. NOT ! The 630 is a superior receiver compared to the substandard 830. The 830 does not have a clock, does not indicate when it is recording as a mater of fact it has no indication at all! The picture resolution is the same for both but the older 630 color is better making the 830 poorer picture quality. Both have internet cat 5 port connection. I tried to go back to my older 630 receivers but could not so I’m stuck with the 830. I tried to cancel the two year agreement because I felt Shawn’s supposed upgrade was really a downgrade but will have to pay a penalty. I was with Shaw / Shaw Direct since 1980 but will never promote or purchase Shaw product again. I would give no stars but had to give one.

      This Company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The individuals who finally address a complaint, are very pleasant and helpful. However, any resolutions they offer, are obviously overridden by stupid decisions made by idiots that have more power than they do. This is a very dishonest Company who does anything they can to **** you into continuing to pay them lots of money for zero satisfaction. I have seen the same episodes of a certain show, ten times in the last six months. Even though I paid my ****, they have cut off my satellite. I will hire a lawyer to take care of business! I am fed up with the ******** !!!!!!!!!
