      I Filed taxes with H and R block in 202*- they have an option for instant refund- I chose that option and got an e-transfer under H and R block through email- Then towards the end, I stopped recieving e-transfers from H and R so I went to my home branch- the lady advised me to call CRA - I called CRA - updated my information accordingly and recieved one e-transfer about a week from when it was supposed to get to me- I am still missing one from january- the lady had no explanation for this - even her manager did not- I called their HQ was on call with them- they asked me to call the bank they set me up with - same problem again couple days ago- recieved letter from CRA that I am getting direct deposits in my account - called CRA - they said the money has been deposited in the bank set up by HR block which is DC bank - went to my home branch again - talked to the manager after waiting - she said she will follow up - however, I have not recieved any call back or no follow *** at all- tried calling HQ- high call volume- was on hold for an hour- I do not know what to do or who to call regarding this - this is very frustrating- I paid good money to them to file taxes for me and be my middleman but it seems like they have done more damage to me than help me out with my taxes My situatiion still has not been resolved

      We booked an appointment to do **/canadian taxes at the ****** branch. The day of the appointment (April *, **am), they informed us that there is no US taxes there. They referred us to the ******* branch, but at this point, they are completely booked up. When we asked why they didnt inform us earlier, as we had booked earlier, they claimed they had no way to contact us as their online portal doesnt allow them to see our number or email.

      Both my wife and I opted for an instant refund and were then issued DC Bank cards with loaded amounts to spend within one month or risk additional fees. Through smart thinking of our own, we managed to empty these cards almost immediately. We were not told how we could do this. my wife is inherently suspicious of ***** and insisted on calling DC bank to cancel these cards. Why this bank needs to get its tentacles into our personal information is beyond me and I considered it nefarious and an invasion of my privacy. We will therefore no longer be doing business with H&R Block. I do realize that the money orders previously issued by ************* cost H&R Block a fee, however this fee could have easily been introduced as a service charge and we would have gladly paid it. What ever ********** in your organization figure this out should be dismissed summarily. Is this really the best that your highly-regarded organization could do?

      A solution has not been offered. And, I do not expect a solution to be offered for their nefarious behavior. This is just the way it is for big companies ignoring privacy concerns. They just don't care.

      On March *, 2024, I went to see an accountant (*******) at H&R Block who only works during peak season and ***x/week. ********************************************************************, ** ************** I was informed that I owe over $**** in taxes but Ive always gotten a refund. I usually pay over $*** in service fees to H&R Block as well. I left the H&R Block office and contacted the **** They informed me to enter my **** over-contribution amount into * separate lines one as income and one as deduction.Ive been trying to get a hold of an accountant at H&R Block to enter these values into the system and determine if I still need to pay taxes but there isnt any single accountant who is willing to help. The accountant I always file with only works Thursday and Friday. I was having a conversation with her on March **,2024; she had an emergency phone call and I havent been able to speak to her since. Today is April *, 2024. Moreover, I walked into a location in **** ****** *********** ** April *, 2024 and the receptionist (***) just ***** her head repeatedly indicating that no accountant is available. ******************************************************************* ************** No one at H&R Block is willing to assist. Ive been filing taxes with them for over * years and this is the worst service Ive ever seen.Can I please get in touch with an accountant who works throughout the year and is available at least 5x a week?

      I filed my my taxes Feb ****, 2024, i was told it was all electroinic, it wasn't until i called& asked a week later that they mailed it in. i had to call and ask several questions regarding my file, i was constantly tossed around& lied to regarding my file, i wasn't updated on any issues unless i called and enquired. i reached out to headoffice via email, got no responce. this is absolutelty unacceptable, i would like my money back, which they are failing to provide. they told me they mailed my taxes in (after telling me it was all "in the cloud") the next day, only once i called. if it was mailed instead of online like i was told, i have the right to know about this mishap. it wasn't until later that i found out they mailed it a totally different date, over a week later. i asked for a tracking number, i was told there wasn't one, but then *** weeks later. i was able to get one. i was told they would resend my taxes as the *** still has not received it, they said they would that day, a week later told me, when i called again, that they didnt but they would now. yet again, another lie. i was told when i filed, i clearly asked if there was any issues, i was told yes because of my tax credit app, but the *** said that was not the case, then H&R block here in ******** changed up their story, yet again. i specifically asked when i would be able to view it online and would receive my return back, i was told up to * weeks, so i ordered a car part that was on back order for * weeks, the appt for that being fixed is next week, and my return is still not uploaded to the ***. i filed with my partner, who refered me, and did not get any "refer a friend" bonus as stated i would when i called, but she got hers instantly. i was told there was a new system, thats why it couldn't be uploaded, then i was told it was due to previous finicial issues. the story was always changing. why am i reaching out about issues? they should be contacting me. i paid for this.

      I got my taxes done from H&R Block in **********, **********, ** and the lady who did it didnt tell me about the $*** renter rebate so I have not seen it even though H&R Block has apparently submitted it after my taxes were already done when I went to inquire, I got attitude And I still havent seen the rebate. I will not be back shame on you H&R Block. You should know your job. Thanks for s******* me out of $***.

      Hello, I would like them to contact the *** and get the renters credit coming my way. I have also learned there are previous years that I shouldve got a renters credit and H&R Block hasnt told me that even though I have filed with them every single year, I would like not only this year, but former years to be assessed and credited as I have never received a renters credit.       I am rejecting this response because: The only thing they did was forward some paperwork to the *** and basically because they cant do electronically file. Im stuck waiting for two months. If not more Im not happy with that business at all. I think they give a lot of excuses when the *** told me they can electronically file a adjustment. They are denying that.

      The person who completed our taxes did not ask questions to help us get the best return. For e.g. she did not ask us about dental and health expenses so we did not claim those expenses and have filed for 2023 without this information. She did not offer the service we were promised.

      Hello. I utilized H&R block to professionally file my taxes on February **/2024. It was a very quick process and the accountant didnt go over much she just asked to sign a few papers and how I would like my refund. I felt a little rushed, but thought nothing of it. I was at the mall in a small cubicle where it was very loud.Two days later, I pulled out the documents and noticed that the accountant that improperly filed my taxes. When I first introduced myself and what I needed done I had emailed her TWO T4s, my tuition and my rent summary. On the documents provided to the **** there was only ONE ** filed. I immediately contacted H&R block and was told that my accountant wasnt in and things will be adjusted after April **/2024 by the *** -OR- I could pay MORE money for them to be amended. I wasnt very happy with that answer. I had paid service fees for what I was told was a professional tax company to file my taxes and they incorrectly filed them. I then escalated this issue with H&R helpline? My file was sent to the ******** district manager. This was on March */2024. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them. As I felt wronged and was very confused, I called *** to see if I there was a way to correct my wrongly filed taxes (considering they are federal documents). they stated I would be able to amend them myself after the assessment date. I did just that. My taxes are NOW correct but I was the one that corrected them because H&R block would not. On the H&R block website they pride themselves on ***% satisfaction for their products or services. I trusted this company to file my taxes properly, they didnt. I asked them to amend or fix my taxes, they wouldnt. I ended up correcting and filing my own taxes properly, because they couldnt. Id like my money back for the services charged and they arent very responsive when it comes to my initial concerns or issues when I raise them.

      I am rejecting this response because: no one has made any attempt to reach out to me. I have no history of follow up email(s) or phone call(s) when it comes to my concerns and dissatisfaction about the service I paid for. In fact, the lack of response is what prompted me to utilize the BBB. I read the initial response from ******* on March ** 2024 and hoped today, March ** 2024, that I would receive a phone call or email. No one has contacted me. The truth of the matter is that I paid for services that left me unhappy and essentially scrambling to correct my own federal documents that were filed improperly by this business.

      I made an appointment on-line with H&R Block, and received a confirmation text. I had to complete an online form that outlined what tax services were required which included a final return for my late husband. I called the day of the appointment and confirmed. When I arrived the receptionist told me I didn't have an appointment and was extremely rude. I showed my confirmation text and she said "too bad, someone else is coming at **** you have to leave" I asked why is that person more important than me. I have an appointment. The very rude receptionist said it's not on my schedule. A man came out from behind the booth and agreed to see me. I was very shaken up at this point as this women was so rude to me. I filled out a form they asked me to, and then the "tax expert" told me he didn't know how to file a last return so he can't do it. He then called his manager who was also no help. Losing my husband was very difficult and so is taking care of all of these loose ends. The computer took my appointment and had a box for me to check for final returns and in the end were very rude to me, and were not capable of filing the kind of return that I had an appointment for...honestly this was the worst customer services experience I have EVER had.

      on march **/2023 we filed taxes with h&r block located on ************** fort *********** ****** .we were notified we have a cerb debt of **** cad we were expected to receive refund of **** cad which we didnt got we were also expected to receive ***** cad for disability supplement which we only received ***** cad we were also expected to receive the canada worker benefit which we also didnt receive most of it.we would like to get adjusted by a proper tax specialist this is the second time h&r block is messing up our taxes!
