      This consumer never called our customer service to enquire about the charges, so does not know what they relate to.  These were charges for the online purchase of gift cards used for a variety of reasons.  The caller must accept the charges by pressing "1" and then receive a pin code to enter online.  We can see that the person on this phone number approved the charge and the pin has been used. We note this number has now been disconnected as we tried to call it on numerous occasions in order to resolve the issue.

      Triton global charged the phone number ** ** ***** ******** **** *************) as a third party charge for another company : ******.When contacted, ****** can't find any information or transaction related to this phone number.Triton global also refuse to give me any information about the charge other than the fact that it supposedly come from ******.T**** *** ********* ********** ************* ** ****** ** ******* ***** ********* ********** to charge someone without giving any justification for it, then the victim has to spend a whole lot of time just to try to track down the information about such a charge.I have contacted and talked to 3 companies so many times and to this day I still don't know what the charges are for but Triton refuse to refund the charge.

      The complainant has been in touch several times with our Customer ********************** and the charges were explained to them.  The charges in question were for a company that sells online gift cards.  We user of the phone authorized the charge twice, by first requesting it, then responding to a pay-by-phone message to authorize the charge.  The gift cards have been accepted and therefore we will not be reversing the charges.

       

      The phone number was blocked from further accessing the service when the complainant first called in enquiring about the charges, ***** *****

      We have identified these charges as accurate and have confirmation that the charges were made on the phone in question after acceptance of charge. That being said, I understand the ******* *an be easily misinformed and may accept charges without understanding what they are accepting.  Therefore, we have refunded this charge on their phone bill and  will block the phone number from further access to the service.  This credit may take up to 3 billing cycles to appear on the bill.

      Some charges were added to my ***** account from Triton, which apparently happened on the 5th of Feb.9 transactions of *** **** *** * ***** ** ****We have no traces of any of these transactions. These were charged to my daughters phone which is under my account. Ive searched the phone for any traces and could not find any. I went online and looked at the msg records, still nothing. Triton insist that we did the transaction when I sent them proof we did not. I was asking them to block my numbers so it cant happen again in the future, which they complied but I asked them to reverse the charges and they wont.

      We have identified these transactions as accurate.  The user replied with double opt-in verification, and the credits were used for in-game purchases.  As you know, texts can be deleted and removed from history.  As requested, all 3 numbers have been blocked from future access to the service, but we will not be reversing the charges as the credits were used.

I understand messages can be deleted but the screenshot are coming from my account activity from ****** which we cant temper with and they highlight that no message was received that day.       In January of this year I opened my phone bill from ***** and was shocked to see charges totalling $719. 75 from events on December 19 and 25, 2022. I called ***** and they advised me that it was charges from Triton Global. I then tried to contact Triton to tell them that no one had authorized these charges. The voicemail said they would return my call within 48 hours. I didnt get a call back. I then contacted ***** again to request these charges be voided and they refused, saying they were not authorized, that Triton would have to do that. I told them that I had called Triton and never got a call back. The ***** agent was kind enough to give me the email address, phone number and website information. I then email triton and told them that I did not authorize these charges but they refused to void them. There were approximately 6 emails between myself and Triton, all signed by ********. I requested that all numbers associated with the account be blocked from any future charges, and that I was not going to pay them. This was January 25, 2023. ******** assured me that the numbers in the account were blocked and there would be no further charges.I paid $500 on the account and then again was shocked to find another charge for approximately $300 from January 2, 3 and 4, 2023 on more events. I called ***** once again to discuss removing these charges. ***** informed me that they would not remove them and then went so far as to tell me that if the account was not paid, it would affect my credit. The agent said it in a threatening tone. In summary, there have been approximately $1000.00 in charges that no one on the account has authorized. These events are casino, horoscopes, third party calls. No one on the account uses these services. I feel that this company is a ****. I want these charges removed from the account as well as the late charges from January and February refunded.  The phone numbers involved are ************ and ************.  Thank you.

      These charges are not fraudulent.  It would be virtually impossible to have both phones compromised in such a way. 

      We have reached out to the merchant, who has now given us information regarding the user on their site.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      No one on this account authorized these charges. Yes, I do know the individual, ******* ***** ******** ** * ******** *** ************ *** ** ** ******* * ***** *** ** *** **.  He assures me that these charges are not correct and that he did not authorize them.  It is my understanding that an individual must call Triton to get a code which they can then input in order access the site.  This was never done by the individual.  

      Further to that, the representative from Triton who responded has their facts wrong.  When I initially sent the emails to inquire about the charges and ask that the numbers on this account be blocked it was January 28, 2023, not January 26, 2023.

      As well, she has only addressed the charges on his phone, not the ones on my phone.

      I am requesting IP addresses for all of the Triton related charges on this account.

      The individual known to you has been in contact with the site and has confirmed he received the funds.  Funds were received from both phones into his account.

      I received my recent ***** bill and was shocked to find an extra charge of almost 700$I called *****, who informed me it was a third party charge from a company called Triton.I called the company to ask what the charges were as I DID NOT AUTHORIZE anything of the sort I was informed it was from a casino WHICH I DO NOT USE SUCH THINGS The woman I spoke to, ********, told me Triton will not be removing the charges.I called ***** back, explained what happened, we believe my phone has been hacked.A security system was put in place right away.The ***** rep called Triton on my behalf to try to get to the bottom of things, then was informed Triton will be calling me personally the next day.Triton never called so I called Triton AGAIN, surprised to hear that the same rude woman, ******** picked up and told me that ***** never called them and I was lied to by ***** Which is utterly ridiculous!This company is obviously a **** in itself, ******* **** ******** ****** and charging outstanding amounts.SHAME ON YOU AND THIS GOOD FOR NOTHING COMPANY.  The phone number that received the charge is ************

      This is not a ****.  Someone with access to that phone made these charges on the merchant site.  However, the end user of the telephone does not match the records by the merchant.  We suspect it may be someone else living in the house with the phone owner.  Regardless, because they do not match, we have refunded the charges in question, and blocked the user's phone number from using the ********************** in the future.  This may take up to 2 months to be reflected on the user's phone bill.

      I received my ***************** this month and on it was a $3.89 charge to Triton Global Assist-*** for telephone # **********. We did not make this call. We need to have this charge removed from out ***************** and to have our telephone number blocked from ************ so this will not happen again in the future.

      This was not a call to that number.  The user called an *********************************** was misdialed.  They were then forwarded to a Directory Assistance service where they pressed "1" to accept the charge.  However, the call only lasted 3 seconds so the user did not utilize the **********************.  We will be crediting the user's account and blocking them from further access to the service.  The credit may take up to 3 billing cycles to appear on their bill.

      Problems with Product/Service There was a charge of 240$ in October on my ***** phone bill by Triton Global Assist for a call I did not make.I would like to be reimbursed for this call and have my phone number removed so I cannot be billed for further charges in the future. This is my ** years old son phone number and he did not ask for any services of Triton Global.

      This customer has now been in contact with our Customer **********************.  These charges were not for a call but a bill-by-phone charge for e-Gift Cards and In-app purchases.  The customer admitted that her son probably made the charge unbeknownst to her.  Therefore we will not be refunding these charges.  As requested, we have blocked the phone number from accessing the service in the future so no further charges will be incurred.

      The text they responded to was delivered in both French and English.  Even if it hadn't, the text is easily copied and pasted to any online translation tool.  

      It is not our responsibility to make sure your kid is not making purchases he cannot afford via his phone.  The phone owner is responsible for charges incurred on their phone.

      Again, we have restricted the number from further accessing the service, but are unable to remove the charge.

      The gift card or in-game credit was issued, so if you wish for a refund, you will have to follow up with the merchant customer ********************** at ******.com

      This company erroneously charged me $3.89 + HST for a call/service on Sept 17 that I did not make/receive. An email was also sent on their website (http://tritonglobal.ca/contact/billing/) to request a refund for the above amount. In addition, I have requested this company to block my telephone, so this situation should never happen again.

      Our Customer ********************** Department has reached out to this consumer and explained the charge.  The consumer dialed an 800 number that was misdialed, had changed, or was no longer in use.  They were routed to a Directory Assistance service, accepted the charge, and proceeded to the service.  However their call was not sufficient in length to receive service so we have agreed to refund the charge.  The issue is the telecom company does not give us access for credit charges.  Therefore in order to do so, the consumer will need to pay the account in full and send us proof of payment.  We will then issue an etransfer or cheque for the charge amount.  We have also blocked their number from accessing the service in the future.

      We hope this clarifies and resolves the situation.

      This was a charge to your phone for an in-game purchase from our merchant Movingos, not an actual phone charge.  We note that the consumer never called in to our customer ********************** centre to have the charge explained, but simply made a claim to the BBB.

      In the interest of good Customer **********************, we have refunded the charge, which may take up to 3 billing cycles for it to appear as a credit on their bill.  We have also blocked their phone number from accessing the service in the future.
