      I was never told by the technician that they would automatically renew my windshield coverage after 1 year. I feel misled and have reached out to their ******* office to voice my displeasure as i was never told about this automatic renewal. I told him that i want my credit card deleted from their automatic renewal system to prevent any further charges and will be sending a letter to the CEO.

      Watch out for **** overcharges! I went to the pop-up tent in a mall parking lot to fix a chip on my windshield. They told me a price, did the work and then charged me without showing me a final total (my mistake for not insisting). When I get home and checked the email they sent, I found that they had stored my credit card information and signed me up to a subscription plan, including charging me an extra $50 to sign up and then for 90$ a year that would be billed automatically if I didn't cancel. NONE of this was ever mentioned in my interaction with the technician and if I hadn't read through the email afterwards I would not have known until they charged me. Very shady if not outright **********.

      ******************** ****.I specifically asked to NOT be on their yearly subscription 'warranty' and then after using their terrible iPad to pay I found out I had signed up (without my consent) to an annual subscription for a 90$ yearly! I cancelled that immediately and have requested a refund for the initial paymentz no response.Avoid at all costs.

      If there is a 0 I would love to choose instead of 1 for rating. Absolutely no customer service at all. Young employees at tents are alone and busy without proper tools or support or proper training. Went with a brand new car had only a small chip and this shop was not spreading to bay location in 99 street. After the treatment that chip ended up by spreading one way to the right. Went for another fill in and not longer that same chip cracked the other direction Thursday cost and still creamer to left further. Few month later another chip happened, went to south common location the employee had a massive line up and I went at 1:20 left around 4 pm and his drill died while working and next morning the chirp cracked my windshield till the end. Yesterday, April 9th, a new chip happened and I went right away to South common location around 5 pm left almost 6 and again the drill was not charged and left without receiving service and that small chip today is cracked in 3 directions, one to the end of the windshield. I believe I have a right to a new windshield and DECO pays for it.

      This company is a *****. They charge yearly for some repair plan that people never sign up for. They did it once to me, I confronted them and they returned the money saying it was a mistake. I recently realized they did it again this year. I am reporting and blocking them on my ***** I noticed other people had the same issue.

      SUBJECT: OFFENSIVE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I was called an "A..HOLE" three times by the technician at the **** tent in the Superstore parking lot on ******************** here in *********. The technician was a blue-eyed, husky, bald man . He quoted me $100 to repair a small chip. I then went to the website and saw that it should've been $65. I returned to the tent to show the technician that there was a price difference. He became very offended and called me an a****** three times and took he a picture of my license plate and made a threat of reporting me. ??? I was in disbelief!       Fraudulent activity! I was sent an invoice via email showing a repair done in ******* using my Deco Windshield Repair Plan. I reside in B.C. and have B.C. licence plates that were on the invoice. The service tech has to verify the license plate when any service is applied to a plan. The signature also looked very similar to mine but was clearly not mine. I immediately called Deco and was told they would look into this and get back to me. A few days later I received a email apologizing for the mistake. I dont think this was a mistake at all I think it was absolutely **********. In any case I requested my licence plate and personal information be completely disassociated with this service . I was told that they would not be able to change the receipt and they were required by law to keep it. Apparently, they are willing to submit false information to the government for tax purposes such as in this case where they are submitting a receipt that states I am the payee when they have admitted to me a mistake was made. If a mistake with my personal information was made I expect it to be fixed. I immediately cancelled my plan with Deco Windshield Repair and requested they delete any and all personal and vehicle information they have regarding me. I do not feel that they protect the personal information we provide them such as credit card and vehicle information. Also, upon learning my information was compromised they did nothing to help me instead there are now a false service record that exits with regard to my car which I am very upset about since they admitted their mistake . I would stay away from this business. There are trusted glass shops out there that would at least put the customer before a need to have someone to bill, even if its not the correct person to bill, just to satisfy the year end audit.

      THE 1 Star is due to company practice,ethics! regarding Automatic renewal of a 'phantom' to me, yearly renewal charged to your credit card? WHAT? 2 Chip repairs were done. last November, 2023 I believe,all ok with the repair (just under 1 calendar year later now) HOWEVER....... I just received an email regarding a subscription renewal to their services ( to be charged to my credit card that I originally used for the repairs) To my knowledge, I did NOT sign anything related to a 'yearly subscription', and certainly don't recall any conversation with the repair rep in this regard. Services were more expensive (about $20 more for first chip + more for 2nd chip the rep 'found') than the company I usually go to - but, I was worried the chips would spread in the cold Alberta November weather, DECO was 'there' while I was food shopping, & convenient at the time. CANCELLING the upcoming SEPT??? renewal, charges, was very confusing! & time consuming. A number of on line sites (Initial renewal email said 'hit the reply button to respond' kinda thing - really!? Email came back as NOREPLY email as sent) After a number of searches, different access routes, then 2 different access codes required, I finally found the 'member portal', obtained a log in code, figured out where to click to cancel/change status,and it now shows 'suspended 'account. Sigh. We'll see what happens end of the month. Haven't received a 'cancellation' confirmation/ reply yet. I WILL head to CONSUMER AFFAIRS IF ANYTHING further SHOWS ON MY CREDIT CARD FROM THIS COMPANY. Won't use these folks or recommend them to anyone else due to this (in my mind, deception) But it is TOO BAD for the workers doing the repairs,they're just looking for a paying job. and did do a good job on my windshield chips. I guess if you need to use them, use cash? and do NOT give any EMAIL or other personal information?

      Showed up with a small chip in my windshield, left to go to the bank while the technician was repairing it and I came back and there was a full crack. I would never use this service again.

      I went to **** for a window repair and I have regretted it since. The plan they speak about signing you up to doesn't tell you that you have to chase them down to cancel. I called, e-mailed and they didn't respond back. They put a token title on your credit card and you can't get away from them charging you, even with a new card number. So cancelling your credit card or calling it stollen will still not stop them. Then your fighting in a dispute with the bank credit card and the **** business. They claimed to me that I didn't dispute it within 30 days, but they also didn't send me an e-mail that they were charging me for the plan. So you can't get a reversal of the charges or your credit card removed from their attack. It took two years to get them on the phone to cancel the plan, if it actually is cancelled. Very sad practice of a business towards the customers.
