I used their legal documents for so many different topics in my business. I have even brought some to my lawyer to double check and they were great! I just can't believe that there is so many bad reviews from people that can't read. It's clearly indicated that it would be $39/month after the trial ends, after adding your credit card number! And there are some services that you have to call the company to cancel your trial, but not LawDepot!! It's so easy to cancel your trial. Anyway... At least they know how to write....

I as other customers learned of their deceptive business practices the hard way. Auto renewal, claiming that renewal notice emails had been sent and reference back to bold and underlined statements in their documents. Seems that they conveniently have extensive account/use history to back up their position but give no consideration for their customers. Business is business and if your are stupid enough to not read the fine print, that's your hard luck. GREAT attitude,NO refunds, even for the unused portion, they eagerly point out the disclaimer so yes, they are right.I do not approve of their business practices and will never recommend them to anyone.LawDepot

How are the reviews so low but the BBB score so high? This business is a money grabbing SCAM!!! They dont send ANY receipt or confirmations of drafts. Very convenient!!! They dont even send monthly newsletters. They go completely silent. You think its so uiu forget about the subscription? Exactly!! It can go 2 or more months before caught. And they refuse to do any refund. I will tell everyone I know this business is a SCAM!LawDepot

Hello *******,I can understand your frustration. We did give you three different options to purchase your document. You selected the 1 Week Free Trial, which stated that it is free for 1 week and will be $35/month after the trial ends; you can cancel at any time with no obligations. We stated this again in the check process with a large green box that states Isnt this free. Why are you asking for payment information again, explained that it is free for 1 week and will be a $35/monthly fee if you do not cancel within the first 7 days? You are then asked to print out a receipt that has the date and time to cancel on the bottom of the page. We immediately sent you an email with the date and time to cancel in bold print. We followed that up with a reminder email on Aug 15/2022. The charges then appear on your credit card statement monthly. I thought I was getting a free bill of sale . The Law Depot cleverly leads customers to use their service thinking they are doing so. I was not able to get the bill of sale to pring, so I did not even use their service. But shortly after leaving their website I got an email form PayPal satating I had been charged $35.00. Upon checking my Paypal account, I foun d out I had been set up for a monthly recurring charge of $35.00. It may be legal, but they sure are unethical! I have been trying for over a week to contact them but they do not respond to my voicemail messages nor my emails. I was able to get Paypal to stop the recurring charges but I have not been refunded the $35.00.LawDepot

Hello ******,When you selected the 1 Week Free Trail, it stated that it was free for one week and would be $35/month after the trial ends. You then had to enter your credit card information, where we again stated that you had to cancel your account to avoid the monthly fee of $35/month. We then asked you to print out your receipt, which had the date and time to cancel your account on the bottom. You were immediately sent a confirmation email with the date and time to cancel in bold print. You did call in and speak with us on Sept 14/2022, at which point the agent that you were speaking with canceled your account and agreed to refund your charge. As she stated during that conversation, you would get a confirmation email about the refund anytime in the next 24hrs and that the refund would take up to 5 business days to show up back in your PayPal account. Im feel taken advantage of also. I have been getting charged $39 a month for the past 15mths. I have not used the service and I was not aware I was still getting charged. I cancelled the service after the free tail through their website but filling in my details only to discover it was not cancelled.The only way I was able to ensure that it was successfully cancelled was by recently cancelling it through PayPal. Disappointed as this was not listed as an option on the site, yet it was the most secured and guaranteed way to see this subscription being cancelled.I tried to dispute the charges and all I have been ignoredLawDepot

Hello ***,I can understand your frustration about this issue, but we did not receive a cancellation from you until Aug 16, 2022. I can see that you have used us in the past as well and your account was successfully cancelled at that time. I can also see on your account that you used our site and this account again in Oct so at that point you knew your account was not cancelled and once again did not contact us to cancel your service. I called to rectify charges that can continued after my subscription had ended. I was told that emails were send and because I didn't email back, they continued it month to month. I received no emails. I searched my inbox, junk mail, and spam folder for the dates provided and nothing. The person on the other end wouldn't even consider the possibility that i never received. I will be posting anywhere I can that this company is shifty to deal with. Tread with caution.LawDepot

We do send out an order confirmation email immediately after you start your Trial Subscription with the date and time to cancel in bold print. We also follow that up with a reminder email once we start billing you. I understand that these emails can go into junk or spam folder, but they are sent out and records of them are in your account under Help and email us. I see that you have also used us in the past and cancelled your account withing the 7-day Free Trial and not been billed. I found out that I'd been being charged an auto fee for over a year and I didn't catch it! I have never used them, never gotten a legal form from them ever. I contacted them and the quick summary was, "Too bad sucker. You didn't notice the charges we took from you and we won't refund a dime. The most we'll do is stop charging you." I told them that I don't even have a log in for their company. I also pointed out that since it is a log in type account, they can go on there and see that there is zero activity from me. I tried calling several times to try to get a better rep, asked for a manager, all to no avail. I have lost $560 to them.LawDepot

Hello Julianne,I am sorry you were not able to get through to myself you should have been transferred to me.Our records indicate that on Feb 1/2021 you singed up to create a **** of Sale. Out of the three option we offer to print out our documents you choose the 1 Week Free Trial. We did state twice through the checkout process that it free for 1 week and would be $33/month after the trial ends. There is no obligation you can cancel at any time. We then asked you to print out a receipt that had the date and time to cancel the account on the bottom of the receipt. We then immediately sent you a confirmation email on Feb 1/2021 with the date and time to cancel in bold print. We then sent you a follow up email on Feb 9/2021 reminding you that you had an account with us. This has then been on your credit card statement every month with our phone number beside the charge to make it easy to contact us. I also see that you have used us in the past as well back in 2017 where you had created an LLC Operating Agreement. This account you did cancel. I see that you have disputed the charges with your bank so I can no longer offer you a refund on your account.
