I called in with basic questions and ***** answered the phone after being on hold for about **** minutes. She was snappy and short with her replies. I was very patient with her initially, As the conversation went on she became more agitated with my questions. I asked for her supervisors name as she couldn't answer my questions and hung up on me. After reading all these reviews now I'm glad i didn't use this service. I worked for 5 different law firms. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS SERVICE

Same story as the other reviewers. We canceled the same day that the free trial started. However, because of life and other circumstances we finally noticed that we have been charged $35 every month. Called in and spoke with two very hateful "escalation" personnel. The first person laughed at times and continued to state "We can only go by facts" and "I can't speak to what you think you may have done." Apparently, there was no possible way it could have been their system...had to be a glitch on our end. Over and over this person talked over us. We asked to speak with someone else...anyone else! She said no one else was there to speak with us, and that if she transferred us, we'd get her again or would be on hold all day. Laughed and laughed. Well, we eventually got another person on this stellar "escalation" team and they clearly had talked it up in the interim because she was just as combative. We were finally offered a partial refund. I can't remember ever dealing with more condescending people. Just look at their replies: "I apologize if you feel" and "as you can see" are pretty telling. They are argumentative know-it-alls. Take your business, and run, don't walk, to any other service. Look at their review scores: an average of **** stars out of 5 for the 65 people who actually took the time to review.

I signed up for a free trial with this site and cancelled the membership the same day. The website did not have the forms I needed. Called the day before my account was to be charged and was told that it was already cancelled. I explained that I had no way to access my email or the account to be charged and was assured it was cancelled. I was charged $35 for the subscription and as soon as I was able to access my account, I cancelled again. When I called customer support, I was told they would not refund because I only had 48 hours to contact despite the fact that I explained I just received access to a telephone. Also said there was no record of my previous calls. For a large company, that was the most insulting and disrespectful thing Ive heard when you are trying to explain what happened. Makes me wonder how bad they needed that $35 and how much do they make per year from tricks like that.

Found them on ****** after searching for filing a DBA in ********** online. Says FREE but you can't file a BDA on their website. It misleads you into submitting tons of info about your business only to discover you can't file a DBA through their website. It's not just them, tons of others try to get info and money out of you to file simple forms.

My credit card was charged $40.00 on the 6th day that I used their service to print one form. Advertised is that one week (7 days) is a free trial service, after 7 days a credit card is charged. Checking on all dates involved, Lawdepot.ca charged my account one full day prior to the advertised 7 day trial. I am out $40.00 and want that amount credited back to my credit card on file .This is consumer abuse and false advertising in an attempt to glean funds from persons pursuant of legal matters that are often stressful. This company preys on the vulnerable.

Hello,Our records indicate you started your 1 Week Free Trial on April 10, 2023. Your free trial ended on April 17, 2023. You were sent an email confirmation stating the date and time to cancel your account on April 10, 2023, in bold print. We sent you a reminder email that this account was still active on the 18th of April, and this account was not canceled until April 21, 2023. As per the terms of use. Your account was canceled, and there will be no further billing. Once an account converts to a monthly subscription, we do not refund the charge but give you access to your account for the month. As you can see, it was on the 7th day that the account was charged and not till the 11th day that your account was canceled. Regards,************************* Customer Support Manager

Their Free Trial is a catch to get your credit card information. Even when I cancelled my trial (none of their documents were useful), I still got a monthly $35 charge for 3 months (of course they will try to deceive saying they never got the cancellation. Clearly I'm not the only one scammed here). I called their customer service and they refused to reimburse, even when I never used any of their documents for months, no activity at all in the account. No common sense... Unethical. Now I have to pay $105 for nothing. They tried to charge the same for a 4th month ($140), so I had to cancel my credit card before payment due date... Next thing you will see here from LawDepot, is their same excuse... watch.

************************ to escape my notice, Entertainment and Recreation was the description this merchant applied for the withdrawals appearing on eight of nine bank statements I had received from my bank. This was after applying for a free copy affidavit form from LawDept.com. Only one was described Bills and Payments. I since had email exchanges with this company that argued that Id been automatically subscribed to a monthly charge of $39. I asked for the details of the entertainment and recreation being provided on four separate occasions insisting on an answer before finally they conjured up their reply which was that they didn't know how or why my bank might label transactions. Absolute garbage my bank has never done this incorrectly before in all the decades I've dealt with them. My bank could only recovered three of the monthly withdrawals which once again indicates fraud. Ask ourselves. If legitimate withdrawals how were they recovered ? Clearly and definitely not an act of good will by these scammers.Prefer not to put any but I think I need to put one star to proceed with this review. These criminals still owe me $234. Another thing to anyone reading this. They claim that they've sent email warnings prior to robbing your bank account. Like others I definitely did not receive any. To the ******* T reviewer. I don't believe they're lawyers just clowns sourcing legal documents and scamming people from a house or flat.

DONT DO IT THEY LIE THEY SAY THEY DO THINGS THAT MYSTERIOUSLY NEVER HAPPEN THEY SAY THEY ARE ISSUING A REFUND AND DONT. REMEMBER THEY ARE LAWYERS AND MY DAD ALWAYS SAID NEVER TRUST A LAWYER. The only way I was able to get the $33 a month that I never authorized was to get a whole new account and credit card after fighting this situation for almost a year. I'm still not done I still want a refund and have to file a police report to get 18 months of unauthorized charges back. I never used this and even if I would have I would have only paid for the single documents not a subscription. Because reality is there has been no activity on the account and I have no need for legal documents my life just does not require it. Oddly enough it looks like I'll need a lawyer if this does not get rectified it's not about the $ for me it's the principle. It's not OK and I'm just not allowing my hard earned money to be stolen from me. Reality is its cheaper to have a lawyer draw up the document you need or go to a legal aid site than it is to get in a $650+ refund situation like I am. Shady practices by a legal documents site no respect customer services and lies that's what you will get if you use the service I'm getting that plus some and never used the service at all.
