      I am constantly being ******** by this company.
      They have the wrong number and are calling the wrong person every single day with multiple different numbers.
      I have called and asked them to leave me alone and all they have done is told me too bad we're going to call you tomorrow and you better pay your bill.
      I work overnight and they call me while I'm sleeping for my next shift.
      I keep logging the number since it's not for me and I keep using new numbers to ****** me.

      I can confirm that CBV was provided the complainant's telephone number by a third party vendor as a contact for the indebted person.  It would appear the indebted person was, or is still, using the complainant's number as a contact point with their creditors.

      This company has called my phone number in the past and is now texting me with reference to a debt owing by ****** ******!       Have been getting phone calls at home and at work by this company cbv collections. I was dealing with another collections account that was fraudulent and just got resolved and these both happened at the same time but this one is for ****** ******** which I haven’t had a phone with them for at least 15 years and I have not report on my credit about it but I just received a letter about an application for bankruptcy order where I have never heard or had an issue with ******. Also like I said it seems strange I started getting calls for this the same time as the other collections started calling me. Please help me figure this out.

      I am rejecting this response because: you still have put the ****** account to the legal team thru your business and on the letter that I sent with this complaint states they are representatives of cbv so you should be able to find out about this issue. The *** thing I’m not sure what that is but I’ll look into that but I’m talking about the ****** one which you filed so I want you to work on this issue.  I haven’t had a ****** account for over 15-20 years and never had it on my credit report and now are threatening for an application of bankruptcy order.  **** **** **** ******* ** **** *** * **** ** * *** ****** ******** **** *** **** **** *** **** *** **** *** ***** ****** ** ****** *** ** ** **** ***** I wish them to stop the calls at work. It’s disrespectful and they don’t even talk they just send an automated thing with my name and a claim number so please stop

      They have been calling me every day, leaving voicemails for a man named **** ***** ********** I am not this man. No matter how many times I pick up the call or even try to call them back to tell them they have the wrong number they STILL call me. I have had this cell number for over a decade now, this is ridiculous.

      I get non-stop calls from a random array of numbers. I'm not who you are looking for. This is a recycled phone number. I'm not wasting my time trying to speak to someone on the phone in this matter.

      We have updated our records to show we were contacting a wrong party.  It appears that the complainant's number was, or is still, being used by the indebted party.   This happens when consumers accept recycled numbers from their providers. We cannot control if a new account is listed in the future with the complainant's number attached.  Should the complainant receive a call from CBV in the future it would be most expedient to simply speak to an agent and inform us we are calling the wrong party.

      I'd like to report CBV Collections *** **********. They have been calling numerous times throughout the day and week. Sometimes calling more than once a day, sometimes calling at 8:00am and 7:30pm.I have told them that I am in the process of returning an old modem to my old internet provider, and once received, any remaining balance will be paid to them directly, however they do not listen and continue to call. The same person, Elapia (?) has called me herself personally from this company every single day for over a month, and sometimes more than once a day. Every time she calls she wants my information, then continues to tell me about my debt, which I know about and inform her about---daily. She also informed me that I cannot pay my bill to my internet provider, and only to them, which is a lie as I found out after calling them.The last time I spoke to her I informed her about her **********, and she did not care and has still continued to call everyday since.NOW, I get calls from 3 different numbers! They call me and then hang up after I pick up and they've blocked my number so I cannot get back to them!This is definitely ********* to me, and I am at a loss to get them to leave me alone.**** ******* ***** ** ** ************

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Their business tactics are *********.  I have told them numerous times that I have and am dealing with the matter with my internet provider regarding an old modem.  It has been sent, and I'm awaiting confirmation.  Despite my telling CBV and returning their calls at the number given every time they call, they still continue to call.  When I do talk to them they insist upon getting my personal information, which they don't need.  Calling every day, at inappropriate times, sometimes more than once a day is ********* especially when it's the same person calling every time.  I feel like a broken record every time I'm talking to them, explaining that I am not paying them any money and I'm awaiting confirmation for my returned modem.

      Their reply is a tactless, **** one that still insists that they call me despite what ********* methods they use and no matter what you and BBB say AND despite me having calling them back numerous times to no avail and STILL being asked for money when they should know a hundred times by now that I am dealing with my old internet provider directly, is just ridiculous.

      I started receiving calls from this company stating I owe money to ****** ******. I have NEVER received any correspondence via mail, phone or email from the company I supposedly have a debt with. I have had the same phone, email and mailing address for more than 10 years with no other secondary address or phone number ever used. I always pay my bills and do not have anything relating to missed payment or unpaid debts on my credit report. I switched service providers in nov of 2020 and the debt apparently happened after I switched. The account number they are saying I owe the money to was not even the account number I had when I did have services with them. I have no idea what is happening here but I know for a fact I don’t owe any money. This is absolutely ridiculous and I am tired of getting calls from this company saying I have a debt and that it is now in collections.

      CBV was attempting to contact a *** **** with respect to an outstanding account.  it is possible our attempts were to the wrong party, however when our agents spoke with the complainant he refused to cooperate to determine if the account was associated with him.  

      We have removed the complainant's telephone number from the account in question.
