I have been working with ****** (personal trainer at *****************) since July. I started working with her to improve my balance. In the 4 months I have been working with her my balance has improved, I have lost 4 lbs and significant fat from my belly. My friends have noted how tone and fit I look and that I am a much stronger runner. ****** is THE BEST!!! and I highly recommend her personal training service!Club16 Trevor Linden Fitness

1 starAn Absolute scam of a company.I joined the gym in March, and when I unexpectedly had to move, they would not allow me to cancel my membership without paying a fee. I provided a drivers license, a tenancy agreement, and other official documents stating my new address in another country (30km+ away from their closest gym- as their policy states) and it was 'not sufficient' form them. Management and staff in the gyms are unable to help with this, customer service on the phone are no help and will just brush you off, and the customer service agents you speak with via email are a separate agency so they are unable to help either. They also don't start your '30 days notice' when you first email, it is only after you agree to pay the cancellation fee (so the two weeks I spent sending documents and waiting for them to respond do not count).The company look attractive, promising good deals and an 'easy cancellation policy' - which is a lie. Awful customer service once you actually need something (the on site staff have been great, this specifically applies to when you call or email). Also the gym facilities are always under repair and it can sometimes take weeks for them to be completed. The only benefits are the 'she's fit' sections (with very limited equipment) which are great if you don't like mixed gyms - although I should note that occasionally there will be maintenance workers who are male in that area (they will announce this but if you have earphones in you may miss the announcement).Review fromBrent T

1 starTrevor Linden Fitness uses a third party to deal with accounts. The third part operates out of *****************. It is called *** Fitness Solution LLC. They will not return you phone calls and this phone number given is never answered except for a prompt to leave a voice mail message. Emails sent are not answered promptly. If you want to contact them to dicuss contract issues, they delay their responses to keep you paying fees for your membership as long as they can keep you. An unfair business practice results as they have no customer service, not replies in a timely manner, no one to speak to and remain anonymous with their delay tactics. If you decide to use this gym, know that your personal information will not be safeguarded properly as it is held in the US, not ******. Read your contract carefully and good luck if you ever need to cancel your membership because you move. They will continue to make you pay past the 30 day notice you provide and delay the confirmation of receipt and acknowledgment of having moved, allowing you to end the contract.Review fromPete D

Buyer BEWARE! If something seems too good to be true it usually means it is. While the monthly price attracts you where they'll steal your money is with the personal training. If you're not asking the right questions or worse, English is your second language best to stay away. When you get sold the personal training you end up paying more per month with less benefits than if you were to do this with other gyms. You end up paying $120+ per month and should you choose to finance this over the year (I mean who could afford really to shell out the $1200 upfront) you also have interest you end up paying for yet this isn't clearly stated at the beginning. Then you also you pay an annual membership fee which is about $50 something, a membership key card fee that is $20 (again I've never had to pay for a membership card) and also enrollment fee when you first sign up. Be careful when signing up as there is too much hidden costs that come to bite you back. To be honest, better to go with your local rec centre or other gyms...the low price isn't worth it.Club16 Trevor Linden Fitness

I have problem with the charges with this gym because when they sell you personal training they arent clear with all the different charges. They are eager to have you buy the personal training sessions so they can receive commission but then you find surprise charges after a month. I was told that if I wanted to cancel everything after ten days that I could do so without penalty and after the ten days then I would have to only pay $75, that is an absolute lie. Not only do you end up having to pay the entire personal training sessions you purchased, you also have to pay the interest for the whole year since you chose to finance. This gym is stealing your money!!!! They said if you purchase 24 personal training sessions that the gym is free - this is also a lie. There is a hidden contract that charges you for the gym, which totals $20ish per month which is what you pay as a regular member. There is no benefit to purchasing personal training sessions as your cost ends up being $150+ each month. That amount of money could be used at a better gym. To end this headache I paid almost $1500 at once and feel like this money was stolen from me because of the lies.Club16 Trevor Linden Fitness

In order to use the Club16 facilities you would need a membership, which you can cancel within ten days or pay the buyout fee of $75 if you are in a 12 month term and cancel after the ten days has passed. The Personal Training agreement is a separate agreement for additional services and is non-cancellable after ten days. The Brentwood branch just exploit people... I am moving back to my home country in *********** and have provided the documents they need.. They are telling me that they want those documents post signing up with the club. How am I supposed to get that when that is my country... I just come into ****** for school... When you signing up, they need this information.. Why don't tell people that for any reason you want to cancel during the course of the sessions.. This and that is what you have to do.. I made it clear that I was new in the country and don't know how things work and she just say a pref she could take advantage of...... CANCELmy membership, I won't be in this country anymore so what is your deal..... why are you soo interested in money instead of actually helping people stay fit..Club16 Trevor Linden Fitness

This is my first ever dealing with Shes fit, which has turned out to be truly extremely terrible.Basically a person goes to gym to maintain good health but the stress which I have been made to suffer from is awful, specially on the hands of manager (*******) -********************** location, when all I wanted was to just put my personal training sessions on hold for 2 months or so (that too on the advise of my peronal trainer who suggested me that it is possible to put the sessions on hold and can be resumed/completed within a period of 1 year) because of my plan to go stay with my family due to bad health condition (weakness). But that lady (the manager) made sure to make my condition worse due to which I have been forced to write this.It has been more than 2 weeks since I requested to suggest a solution, still this issue has not been addressed. Instead the manager ******* who was very rude over the phone call started cross questioning in a torturous way regarding the reason, as if it was some crime scene she was inspecting and treated me as if I was some criminal giving her statements. How pathetic for a manager level person to provide such a c*** customer service.I understand there is always a procedure to process a request, but she has made this experience distressingly bad. Even after 3-4 emails and two phone calls the fleetwood manager is still asking the same questions again and again rather than offering some solution to my request. In the conversation during first phone call I provided her all the information and told about the reson for this request.Then again during the second phone call she kept asking the same questions and behaved as if she was interrogating some crime scene.They have been still deduting the money from my account for personal training sessions even after these many requests. Some solid action against such pathetic service needs to be taken, kindly try to understand that its pathetic to let peoples hard earned money getting wasted.Club16 Trevor Linden Fitness

1 starWas harrased mocked and made to cry by manager ***** at coq location gym today .***** in their life should face the terrible experience that I faced Such a shame to ************************* to allow such nastiness and disrespect in his gym Very sad and shameful I'm a grandmother and first time ever someone has degraded me like this manager did !!!!!They never had my email correct so I had no contract sent to me Never explained the terms to me The salesperson was just interested in signing me up without explaining the terms My bill had fradulant charges which I was never made aware of When I went personally into the coq location gym to see the manager .She was rude defensive non caring said it's too bad she can't do anything about it so I told her I would like to cancel my membership to which she wanted to extort more money out of me and would not do so otherwise .I told her to call her head office but she did not care to and I told her I would expose this extortion to the news media and report fraud activity on my account to the law enforcement to which she mocked me laughed at me and ridiculed me thinking I'm old and would be afraid of her and told me I could go do what I wanted to she did not care !!!!I left heartbroken in tears and felt my heart sinking and I left feeling so humiliated and disrespected !!!I wonder how this manager of this location would feel if someone treated her mother of grandmother the awful way she treated me ...If only someone would train this manager how to care and show kindness to people who come to ****** Linden gym because they feel he will always be concerned about his members and feel happy joining his gym instead of facing nastiness rudeness meanness being mocked and laughed at leaving one feel degraded and disrespected and humiliated above all being a subject of fraud and being cheated and money extorted from a senior I have idolized trv Linden when I was young but I feel betrayed so saddened today at the way I was treated.Review fromFrank A

1 starI took my twin son at Brentwood location ,costumer service was very bad and did not pay attention for several minutes .There were several of them and just talking to each other.Finally one of them come to us with her unhappy face and did not explain for membership, Therefor we went another location and got a membership, even though we are close to club 16.
