I purchased a gift for my sister. While checking out, I noticed a stain on the shirt I selected. A store associate offered to replace it with a clean one. I appreciated the gesture and assumed the replacement was in acceptable condition.However, upon returning home, I discovered that the replacement shirt also had a stain. This suggests the store is putting used or damaged items back on the sales floorlikely ones that have been tried on in dressing roomswithout adequate inspection or cleaning.I believe this practice is deceptive and unsanitary, and places unfair responsibility on customers to identify damage before purchase. I have contacted the store to request a full refund, but if they fail to comply, I will pursue a credit card chargeback.This store is selling used or damaged goods as new, and needs to be held accountable. Lululemon has always had a lifetime product guarantee standing behind their great product. In April 2024 they updated their policy to be a "1 year quality promise". Legally, this would only apply to products purchased April 2024 and after. Lululemon is stating, illegally, that the 1 year quality promise applies to all product, purchased at any time. The warranty policy that is active at the time of purchase is the warranty policy they are legally obliged to honor. While a consumer can be disappointed in the new policy and choose to not make a new purchase from this company, the consumer and Lululemon are bound by the old policy from the time of purchase. I Love Lululemon product, but sad to see them not support their loyal customers.Initial Complaint

To whom it may concern,On May 24, 2025, I submitted a quality promise form to Lululemon to complaint about a quality problem of two pieces of hoodies. One was bought at lululemon shop (*********), ********, ******, on Oct 10, 2024, $132.16CAD. Another one online (Lululemon official website), Oct 11, 2024, Order #c83017517974, $110.88CAD. They are both Scuba Oversized Half-Zip Hoodie, different colors. I submitted several pictures with detailed measurements of two clothes respectively and a picture shown the size comparison of the clothes. They both have shrank to an absurd degree; what is more ridiculous is that one shrank severer than the other one. This difference of shrinkage and the shrinkage itself show unbearable quality issue. Summary of the Issue: I placed order c174897571491411 with Lululemon on June 3, 2025, shipping to my work address (a commercial office/warehouse building) due to theft concerns at my home address. The package was marked "delivered" by ***** on June 9, 2025, with a false claim that I signed for itsecurity footage proves they just left this package to nobody signing for it. Additionally, two items were missing in the package 1)Zeroed In Short Sleeve (White, Size M) 2) Zeroed In Short Sleeve (Grey, Size M)Lululemons Unacceptable Response:1) False "Forwarding Warehouse" Claim Despite my work address not being a third-party forwarding service they said it is a forwarding address and can not help me with orders at this address. I placed an order with Lululemon (Order #c174228762704893) and received shipping confirmations for two packages, which were marked as delivered on May 28, 2025. Despite the tracking information, I never received the items. I thoroughly checked with my building, neighbors, and front desk, and the packages are nowhere to be found.I contacted Lululemon customer service, but they refused to take responsibility or offer a refund, replacement, or even initiate an investigation with the carrier. Instead, I was told to file a police report and that no further resolution would be provided. They also stated that any future purchases to my address would be at my own risk, essentially placing all liability on the customer.This response is unacceptable. I received a lululemon gift card on 16May as a gift and the gift card itself was completely enclosed in the companies cardstock wrapping so no numbers were showing, nor was the magnetic strip exposed. I went online to redeem the gift card on ***** and attempted to add the gift card to my account. The ********************** site was saying that my gift card had a $0 balance. I immediately contacted lululemon via ******** and email. I was told that the gift card was purchased and activated on ***** and redeemed on 15May. They then linked me to their gift card policy and said there was nothing they could do and would not be honoring the gift card. I was dumbfounded as to how it could be redeemed when the card itself was fully covered by the cardstock manufacturer packaging covering the magnetic strip and the card number itself was covered by a security scratch off strip. The representative that got back to me via email, *****, could not explain as to how the card could be redeemed in this case, nor would she provided any details about when and where the card was redeemed so I could file a police report. She just kept reiterating the lululemon gift card policy and stating they would not be honoring the gift card.Clearly this is an issue with fraud on lululemon's end. There is no way the card could be redeemed when the card packaging is intact and security scratch off covering the card number is untouched. However lululemon does not care and will not honor the gift card. Do not buy a lululemon gift card, you may just be throwing away your money and they will not honor your ************** attached of said packaging as I opened it so everyone can understand what I mean by cardstock manufacturer packaging and security scratch off strip. I have been a Lululemon customer since 2004. I have many articles of their clothing that are more than 10 years old. I bought a pair of their Align pants in February 2023. Two years later, the seams are coming undone. I contacted them to report the quality issue and was informed that past one year, they consider this to be 'normal wear and tear'. To be clear, not one piece of my rather large Lululemon wardrobe has EVER experienced this problem. I also have five pairs of Align pants.I went to leave a review on their website and saw that under my account, the 'leave a review' button has been removed. When you go to their website, however, you can see thousands of reviews (99% positive) on this pant. If Lululemon wants to cheap out on their quality, they can. But as a customer, I deserve the opportunity to review my purchase accurately on their website. They have REMOVED the button to do so. The fact that I can't is disingenuous and skews the public's perception of Lululemon's quality. The only way to review a product is through an automated email sent to you shortly after you purchase a product, but this link has an expiry date. So they are capitalising on reviews made in the short term of their products to avoid accountability for deteriorating quality. As a major company, I think this is a gross business practice that shouldn't be allowed. If you want to use people's reviews to sell your products, you need to ensure the opportunity to add a review can be made - anytime, not just a few weeks after a purchase is made. So there you have it. That's my complaint. The mechanism to review is deliberately fixed in their favour, resulting in an inaccurate representation of the quality of their goods. I bought a pair of leggings back in 2019 under a lifetime warranty. The leggings since then have developed a small hole. I reached out to Lululemon as I bought the leggings under a lifetime warranty and was told thats no longer a thing.If they no longer offer a lifetime warranty thats fine. However, they should be honouring that lifetime warranty for those who bought under that otherwise it is setting a false claim for customers and misleading them. One of the main reasons I bought the leggings was for quality and the lifetime warranty. If I knew they would not honour that lifetime warranty I would have not bought the leggings.
