I do not know where to start. I placed an order on Dec 1, 2022 for a shredder. I paid, they accepted the payment because it left my **** bank account.
They sent me an email cancelling my order on Dec 6, 2022 telling me to "**** ******* * **** ** ******* *** **** *****" yet I was charged....
It is december 9, 2022 and I still havnt received my money.
YET THE PRODUCT is available for purchase online, yet they told me they cancelled the item because they "ran out"
yeah okay.
Customer service wasn't bad via chat online option. I had a person named Ravennasiddesh who actually did tell me that it would take 3-5 business days post cancellation to see the money reflected in my account. I am grateful for them letting me know.
Unlike the other person who did not.
I have decided from now on when purchasing from bestbuy I will do it in person because there online services *****.Best Buy Canada Ltd.

I spent over 4 hours trying to get through to someone to purchase a product online which said it was in stock after being hung up on twice i finally got through to someone that said it was in stock so i spent 7000 dolars on this oven only to find out six days later the product was not in stock and i would have to wait at least 4 months maybe more they could not confirm any delivery date. what kills me is they have no problem making the sale at all costs had i known it wasnt in stock i would never have purchased. I will never purchase from this company again very poor business practice.Best Buy Canada Ltd.

Zero stars is what I would prefer to give. Purchased a $450 gift card online to be sent to myself so I could put it towards a family members gift. Did NOT receive the e-card but still got charged. Best buy has no record of it. So instead went and purchased another $400 worth of gift cards from the store to use on this purchase in hopes that the online gift card would be cancelled. Proceeded to order the $2000 TV on promo for black friday (this being the last day), and the website told me I could only use 2 gift cards (each worth $100). After hours on the phone with Best Buy, Noone could fix the problem, nor did I receive a follow up phone call which was promised from a store near by (45 minutes away). So now I'm out $850 in gift cards and no TV to show for it. Customers service is absolutely useless and incompetent. So disappointed with their ability to provide service to a willing paying customer.Best Buy Canada Ltd.

Unable to use best buy warranty that I purchased as there website doesn't work and everyone on the phone keeps hanging up on me. I'm out almost a thousand dollars on a warranty I can't even use. Shop at visions not at best buy they are *********** and cannot provide a service that can be used to claim warranty. UnacceptableBest Buy Canada Ltd.

Placed an order for an ice machine Sept 25th expected delivery Sept 29th 2022. It is now Nov 1, it hasn't shipped and I've reached out by email twice, phone once and chat once and not one of those people can cancel the order, and all I'm told is it has been escalated and I'll hear back in 2 business days. Yes they haven't taken my money but this is a potential charge hanging over my head, so who knows maybe 8 months down the line they'll decide to ship and bill the card. Terrible service and communication from Bestbuy. For the ******** Air Fryer Recall, I have been waiting months for my refund and there has been no communication as to whether they received the recalled unit, and why it is taking so long to process. I also find it unfair that the instead of reimbursing people for the purchase with cash, they are giving BestBuy giftcards instead. This lack of communication and long process times makes me wish it was not a giftcard because I cannot see myself shopping at another BestBuy again. A recall is not the fault of the consumer, so I do not understand why they are making it so difficult to be made even for their mistake. In the future I am shopping elsewhere.Best Buy Canada Ltd.

Called to cancel Geek Squad membership and was told cancellation fee is three (3) months. This is usurious, or excessive and should only be one month. Went ahead anyway as I haven't used it in ten months. Call centre is located in Bogota, Colombia where the Customer Service rep spoke in high-pitched ******* accented English. 1 starCompleted an original order August 8th for qty 2 open box ********* R12 units from Best Buy which a MarketPlace seller claimed was out of stock after a week and cancelled.
However, it was simply relisted at a higher price (same web order id, model, description, quantity). A complaint was answered by the seller that they would honour the price. In good faith, I followed instructions, submitted a new order and messaged them. The seller shipped the units Aug29th at full price. Corrections requested: Aug 29, 31, Sept 1, 2, 4: No response after Sep 4 (a week ago). Seller responses were non-committal and appeared to simply be a stalling technique. Best Buy customer service was no help – claiming MarketPlace seller means zero responsibility on their end. The towing line from customer service was that since the purchase was via the Best Buy website but fulfilled by a MarketPlace seller, that Best Buy is no longer responsible for any action, including customer satisfaction. Despite multiple requests for information on the seller (name, phone number, address, etc), Best Buy Customer Service and a supervisor would not provide this or put me in contact with someone who could.
In summary, Best Buy provides no beneficial support to its customers via their online chat or email when a product is listed on their website, purchased and fulfilled by a MarketPlace seller. This seller does not honour their own statements, provide timely responses, or resolve issues. This purchase has been a nightmare, and with no support from Best Buy or the seller, I had no option but to return the items for a refund instead of having the price honoured. Best Buy Mobile kiosk deleted my phone number instead of porting it. Representatives have lied and provided conflicting information. They have shared that an escalation has been submitted to Bell, but refuse to provide information or contact numbers for Bell. Staff have repeatedly refused to provide documentation of issues, confirmation of escalation or apologize/admit guilt. **** and told me I couldn't stay with **** unless I purchased a new phone, I didn't care enough to argue I just didn't want to stay on a family plan. Staff were unable to properly port number which resulted in the loss of a phone number I've had for over a decade that is tied into multifactor authentications for multiple financial accounts. Staff suggested one more than one occasion that I ask family members who were on the previous family plan with me to provide me with compensation because my going in to change my plan was linked to them. No way to escalate to Best Buy Canada, store manager is non responsive, and representatives said verbatim that my coming into the store to follow up on this issue was a waste of their time.Best Buy Canada Ltd.
