Their machines are down a lot..their web page to purchase money parking has never worked..very slow replies to issues when emailed. And restrictive parking rules..in particular you can not buy monthly parking and park..they have a parking lot at a ****** that you can not park in the same spot for more.than 3 days..so how do you go away for a week on a yacht?Very strange to me..I dont understand these guys on why their system is so broken.Indigo Park Canada Inc.

Dear ********************,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience with our parking facilities at *******************************************************************************************, **. We truly value your insights and appreciate you brining these concerns to our attention. We understand that you encountered difficulties with the parking machine and our webpage for purchasing parking. Unfortunately, Lot 109 is frequently booked for special events or filming, which often requires us to redirect monthly parkers to alternative locations within 24 hours. This is why parking restrictions are in place including shutting down of payment machines and web page, particularly for extended periods, to accommodate the high demand and ensure space availability.Given your situation, where you needed to leave your vehicle for a week while you were away on your yacht, we recognize that this restriction caused an inconvenience. We apologize for not being able to meet your parking needs in this instance. Thank you for your understanding and for bringing this to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.Sincerely,***************************** Guest Services Manager 1310 - ************************************************************* BC, V6E 4G1 Tel: ***************** *************************************Review fromMelaney C

This company is horrible !!! It's discussing actually what they are getting away with. If you don't pay they just send it to collections. I paid for a 3 month parking pass for my son going to university . His vehicle broke down a few times and he had to borrow my car. I explained this to the supervisor and they did not care. They just procceded to collect twice from a single mom putting her son through university. My hope is if you have a choice for a parking lot , do not support Indigo Parking !! thankyou *****Indigo Park Canada Inc.

Absolute scam. Paid for parking. Got a ticket for parking in the wrong area. Did not notice the signs as they were 2 feet off the ground and obstructed by the cars legally parked in front of them. I also parked directly in front of the parking machine. Hello??? Hello?? I loathe going to malls already and you do this?Indigo Park Canada Inc.

I recently received a ticket in a lot which I have parked in for the last 20 years. It has never been a pay lot and is not located in a busy downtown area. It’s a large lot with a **** ** *****, ****** *****, ** **** and a couple of restaurants etc. It is a place you go to get errands done. I was very confused after eating lunch to find a ticket on my car. I thought perhaps I parked in a reserved space in the almost empty lot, however after reading the ticket I realized you must register for a free 90 minutes while shopping.I was parked in front of an empty business with for lease signs. I obviously would have registered had I seen the signs as I was only going to be in the lot for a quick lunch, then grab a couple groceries and some pet food. I was there for less than an hour and spent a lot of money only to be left with a $65 dollar ticket. I was with two other cars of adults both which did not see the signs. The signage is terrible and even after you see it is not something that would get your attention. I would have preferred to just pay to enter the lot. Needless to say it’s unfortunate as it doesn’t effect Indigo parking but in turn the businesses located there as it makes me not want to return. I wrote a pleasant email and explained the situation only to be told that the signage is just fine and that a $25 payment should still be made. I would have no issues with paying a ticket had I rightfully deserved. I was on the lot for less than the 90 minutes offered at no cost but just didn’t notice the signage. I would hope a company would understand and rectify a simple situation. I’m feeling extremely frustrated at the whole scenario.Indigo Park Canada Inc.

Dear ********************,Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.I want to emphasize that the operation of our parking facility is governed by clearly displayed signage throughout the property. These signs serve to inform our guests of the guidelines and their responsibility to adhere to them. It is essential for all visitors to familiarize themselves with these regulations, especially concerning the registration process for parking at the ***********************, which is managed by Indigo.Upon careful review of your dispute, it appears that there was no registration made for your vehicle with the license plate ******. Consequently, your ********************** notice DD494318 remains valid as per our established procedures. However, as a gesture of goodwill, our team have offered reduction of the fine to $25.00 as a one-time courtesy, and our decision on this stands. This reduced amount is valid for payment through our online portal at *********************************************************** within the next 10 days from today. Failure to settle the payment within this timeframe will result in the notice reverting to its original fine amount. It is crucial to understand that our parking lot operates on private property, and registration is a mandatory requirement for all vehicles. Failure to register your vehicle renders it unauthorized, as outlined in our rules and guidelines. We urge all patrons to comply with these regulations to avoid receiving further notices.I regret that we cannot reach a mutual agreement regarding your parking notice. Our decision in this matter is final, and the notice will remain valid in our system.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,***************************** Guest Services Manager 1310 - *********************************** Vancouver V6E 4G1 Tel: ***************** *************************************Review fromMeena K

I am writing to express my deep frustration and dissatisfaction with the parking services provided by Indigo at Vancouver ***************** (VIU). Your company's practices have made it incredibly difficult for me to pursue my university degree, affecting my academic performance, financial stability, and overall well-being.Despite paying for parking through both the kiosk and the app regularly, I continuously receive parking tickets. These tickets, starting at $40 and escalating, are outrageously expensive, especially for a student like me who earns less than $20 an hour while working three jobs to afford my education. The relentless issuance of tickets feels exploitative and has placed an enormous financial burden on me.My attempts to resolve these issues through your customer service have been futile. I have spent countless days calling Indigo every day, only to be met with unresponsiveness. Emails sent to your support team have resulted in dismissive responses, with the consistent message that nothing can be done and that I must pay these exorbitant fines. This lack of support and understanding from your company is deeply disheartening.Furthermore, my first vehicle was towed by Indigo at VIU, leading to it being impounded. Unable to afford the $1000 required to retrieve my car, I ultimately lost my vehicle. The initial towing was due to unpaid tickets, which I simply could not afford However, not driving to campus was not an option, as it would mean missing crucial classes and jeopardizing my education.Indigo's practices have turned my life into a living h*** The constant stress of potentially receiving another ticket, the financial strain from exorbitant fines, and the loss of my vehicle have all compounded the already significant challenges of balancing work and studies. I am working tirelessly to make ends meet and achieve my academic goals, but Indigo's predatory approach to parking enforcement is making this nearly impossible.Indigo Park Canada Inc.

Dear ************************,Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concerns. We understand the frustration that can arise from receiving parking violation notices. Please be advised that ample signage across our property effectively communicates the parking guidelines to our guests. As outlined on these signs, adherence to the requirement of payment or permit for parking has been a longstanding regulation implemented since our tenure began managing VIU's parking facilities.Regarding the specific parking violation notices you mentioned for the vehicle with plate ******, here is a summary of the issued notices:******** - May 17, 2023 (Staff Parking Area - Lot Q)******** - May 23, 2023 (Staff Parking Area - Lot Q)******** - January 26, 2024 (Staff Parking Area - Lot Q)******** - April 3, 2024 (General Parking Area)******** - May 15, 2024 (General Parking Area)Upon investigating the payments associated with the mentioned license plate, ******, we could not locate any payments for May 17 and May 23, 2023. Consequently, notices ******** and ******** remain valid. If you have any payment receipts for these days, we kindly request you to provide us with a copy for further review. Additionally, we sent you a past-due notice on June 30, 2023, regarding these two notices and another final notice on July 28, 2023. The letter states, "We would like to remind you that your vehicle is at a high risk of getting towed due to these unsettled Parking Notices". However, we have not received any attempt from you to dispute these notices until this year. Regarding notice ******** issued on January 26, 2024, our records indicate that the plate registered on the permit was entered as ****** instead of ******, leading to the issuance of the notice. We would like to clarify that the letter "O" is not valid in BC license plates unless customized. Therefore, the correct entry should be "0."Notice ********, dated April 3, 2024, was cancelled by our Guest Services Representative as a courtesy, acknowledging the payment made for license plate ****** instead of ****************, the payment transaction #********* provided for notice ******** on May 15, 2024, was for the license plate ******, not ************ on our investigation, notices ********, ********, ********, and ******** are deemed valid and will remain outstanding in our records. Please understand that any vehicle associated with unpaid parking fees for license plate ****** should refrain from ********************** on our premises. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but our decision regarding the validity of the notices is final.Sincerely,***************************** Guest Services Manager Melody E***************** ********* *** *** **** ***************** *************************************Review fromAnita P

Terrible service. They are cheats and using a false website on the back of their ticket. I used that email to appeal for the ticket as they wrongfully gave me an infarction ticket. I had to call the headoffice in ******* to get the correct email. When I told this to the customer service rep she did not know anything about tis issue. SO I gave her the correct email. WOnder if they will take the initiative and put the correct email at the back of thier ticket. I don't trust this company.Indigo Park Canada Inc.

Dear Ms. *********, Please be advised that our Guest Services team has cancelled your previous parking notice, ********, that you received on February 20, 2024, with a clear indication that it is a one-time courtesy and that you are always to take note of the posted signages when parking in private parking lots as your vehicle may be at risk of being towed at the owner's expense. A reminder to register your vehicle for parking when visiting the same location was included in the email, as we will not cancel your next valid parking notice. Unfortunately, due to not abiding by the rules posted on the sign throughout the parking lot, your second notice, ********, which you received on March 25, 2024, will remain valid at its reduced rate. Please note that the reduction will increase to its original fine amount as of April 20, 2024. We kindly request that you pay the reduced $25.00 within the next 10 days at **************************************. Failure to do so will result in the fine reverting to its original amount and potentially being sent to collections. We strongly advise you to familiarize yourself with our parking lot rules and guidelines to avoid future violations. Currently, the parking facility you have parked in remains open for business. As such, we are obligated to maintain consistency with everyone's application of the rules and guidelines. Please appreciate that we are not in a position to make any exceptions at this time.
