      It's a glorified ****. BLS is ******* applicants to pay extra for premium lounge in direct defiance of ethical business practices. 1. They will find some fault, or engineer something that doesn't exist in the rulebook, to reject your application. Surprisingly, however, if you pay for premium lounge all your problems will get resolved automatically. 2. They are not providing the option to pick up documents in person. DO NOT PAY BEFORE YOU ASK THEM HOW MUCH THEY ARE CHARGING YOU. Charges are non-refundable. This is in direct defiance to Govt of India instructions. 3. Slots fill up artificially very fast. You will not find a regular slot for 1 month in advance, but you can find a premium lounge slot for the next day. Yes, limiting regular slots so that people are ****** to pay extra $120 is the de facto norm. 4. You don't need an extra pic, extra set of photocopies or random affidavits. Don't believe me? Book a premium lounge slot and notice the difference (which shouldn't be there). 5. Walk-ins are impossible, or if possible then be willing to stand in the line at 5 AM in the morning even on Saturdays. 6. Owner gets all negative reviews removed from ****** (somehow). Tried it. This is not a synthetic review.       What a perfect example of capitalism - BLS. I will talk that about later, firstly I want to aware others about mistake I did in the Indian passport surrender form and want to join hands together & raise voice against the BLS’s ******** Privilige. Make sure write proper name of your spouse. My wife don’t have the last name so whole name comes under last name and first name is XXX on Canadian passport How to write name on Indian passport Surrender form as told by customer service there. If there is no last name then don’t put XXX in first name. Just write name as it is EXAMPLE - ABC KAUR. For OCI WRITE - XXX IN first name. I don’t understand why this is. Now I will tell what happened how BLS are ********* people. In cold weather after waiting for almost 4 hours I got the turn to surrender my Indian passport. By mistake my wife name in the form was FNU- First name unidentified in first name and last name was ok. Customer rep said it is wrong - I told her that I will correct the form and come back in 5 min. She said no, as other people are waiting, you have two options either buy $40 package where they correct just a small mistake or you go back and stand in queue. I waited there of almost 90 minutes again to correct a simple mistake. Reasons given by supervisor in the BLS location in BRAMPTON - we don’t allow people to use their phones in the BLS. I thought may be they were right. I was taken to special lounge where other people are also waiting then I found out that it is not me mostly people are waiting there because of very silly mistake in the form which can be corrected by the rep or us in 2 minutes. But they want to make money and using the privilige given by government to them. I don’t understand is government is working for us or we are working for government. ? I am attaching a proof of mistake

      I had an appointment today, at **** ***** ****, for surrendering my Indian passport that was secured a month in advance with BLS- I went to the centre well before time (12p.m. for a 12.45 p.m. appointment) waited for my time and when called upon I went to the counter. My form was duly filled to ensure all the mandatory fields are filled in. I made a conscious choice to leave certain non mandatory fields blank. If they were important they would have been marked as mandatory. Your associate Manjot pointed out the non mandatory fields were not filled to which I asserted it was not a mistake but a choice. I was met with complete and utter disdain and those fields were filled without my consent. I was also told my photograph was not up to specification and was 2 years old (the photograph was dated October 2022 the math wasn’t right there) even though the specifications laid out never mentioned how old a photograph should be. When I asked where are these points mentioned so I can rectify them the checklist was thrown across the counter, the same checklist I had followed to the letter. I insisted that I need further clarification as I do not wish to waste another day and I was asked if I could read English and that she isn’t my servant. When my husband tried to tell me something in Kannada we were asked why we were speaking in a different language with visible disgust on her face. All this while she and her colleague were speaking in a language we do not understand while processing our application. (Hindi). The insult to injury was when we protested she called the police while mentioning to whoever was on the other side that I was inebriated while I was not. This is akin to character assassination to put it mildly and defamation to call it right. We asked for her name and badge number and requested we speak to her manager immediately. She refused to provide her name and removed the name tag that was placed on the table to identify her.

      They just find something wrong in application and try to *** money. In my case nothing was wrong in application. She told me the photo i pasted is outside the lines and would not work. And made me to have photo done at their facility with an added charge. Even then the photo was covering the border but this time she accepted it. Secondly gave me option of pick up or delivery for the certificate. I said pick up. Upon hearing she was kind of mad. And told me rudely “you have to come Monday to Friday between 3 to 3:30 pm. (Are you serious half hour window and that is also with standing in walk in) and stand in walk in for wait. If miss the window then you have go back. In other words she wanted me to pay for the drop of service somehow by ******* me with such scenario. However I paid because I didn’t want any trouble any more. I was just done with their service. Pathetic experience.

      Zero stars for BLS. No standards followed. They just come up with random requirements and try to extract money from you. Not everyone on the earth are rich to spend extra bucks.

      I had an appointment for my daughter's OCI at 10:00 am at Toronto location and had a terrible experience. The only good staff member there is a security guard, Hirdesh. All other staff members are just to br rude to the customers. I uploaded everything as per the website and they said its all wrong, and i'll have to pay $100 for form refill, i told the lady its not on the website, its wrong and **** to charge for something which isn't mentioned on website and she refused service. Employees there, are on some kind of ***** **** and most don't deserve to be there. The lady even refused to disclose her name.

      Rather they had an issue that his name on canadian passport & indian passport is different and they have a lawyer's contact ready to extract money from us and commission from her. While I am thinking why should our surrendered passport matter anymore as a proof of identity?? On top of it they have the audacity to talk like they are some diplomats or the ministers themselves and us, the applicants some trash. Hope an audit is run on them and their malpractice of money making to achieve targets is exposed worldwide.

      Went for passport renewal. Later they called me telling it's damaged and asking more money.
      Sent me invoice for $375. I told them it's expired passport and why should I pay damage fees for expired documents. I have been using same passport for past ten years, throughout many countries and I can't see what damage is there. **** *** *********

      In November 2019 I approached BLS International in ******* to get necessary information about a tourist **** to *****. The clerk took my information including my credit card number, although I explicitly told that I was only inquiring about the services, NOT applying for the ****. To my surprise, my credit card was charged with the Purolator delivery charges. I called many times BLS International in ******* for a money refund, the various clerks assured me that they were looking into my case. I have even received an official e-mail from the ****** branch saying that they are looking into my case. During COVID everything was closed, but now I can't find anyone to provide answers.
