      As a customer, i noticed that BLS Brampton is engaging in unethical practices.
      My wife visited BLS Brampton office on 19th April 2023 to renew the OCI application for my newborn. She had all the necessary documents with her, but to her surprise the lady on the front desk came up with a reasoning that my wife’s photo on the consent form is not matching and hence she has to get a new photograph or pay CAD 15 for the photograph. This raises a question that when someone applies for courier service how do they validate the photo. On my wife’s questioning the lady that how can she validate my husband’s picture since he is not here, for which she gave a totally illogical answer stating that “** ** *** *****” This scenario just represents that they just want to ******* money over anything possible.
      Additionally she still insisted on paying additional 70 CAD to avail BLS services. On my wife’s questioning her about service,she replied that she will tell the services only after making the payment. I am not sure if anyone would pay first and than is informed about the services being offered. On my wife’s repetitive questioning her that where is this 70 CAD mentioned on the website, to which she has no response. Even after my wife’s insistence for not availing any of the services, she didn’t take our request.
      This is to inform you that BLS services on website charges 7.5 CAD and the other services are optional. But BLS Brampton is forcing its customers to pay for Courier services and if not opted than we are being told that the original documents may get “*********”. As per the checklist, the requirement is to submit the original birth certificate of the child, but she insisted on not taking it, instead asking for money. I would like to question here that it is BLS responsibility to handle the documents and they can’t say it can be misplaced.
      After all of this, my wife asked to meet the manager but she got an excuse that she is in a meeting and they just closed the doors.

      Worst service and **** the customer with high charges. No proper documentation in bls-canada site, if you call to customer care their checklist is different than the bls-canada site. Reason behind this is to earn more money on the postal applications. For a family of 4 , they are charging 800$ for postal charges (Passport surrender & OCI application). Definitely it will come back as improper documentation , reason to gain more money to BLS Canada International. Indian ambassy need to re-think to update the contract with BLS in near future..this is literally *******. Indian ambassy should open one for each province like SK(We have more new comers than any other province). Why can't we send the application via ****** **** for cheaper price. check list Links - ***************************************************************************************** Please visit directly instead of postal application , it's very cheap and effective.       BLS international Brampton office is extremely ******* office and lots of unethical practices are followed to charge hefty amount. They give you lame excuses in your photographs even though it is as per standard and get you pictures clicked in BLS office. They forcefully charge you for notification services even though you deny it. It is shameful that Indian government has chosen BLS which ****** indian citizens and NRIs.

      This was a terrible experience that I would never recommend to anyone. I paid the fee and got everything ready for an entry visa. The women on the phone told me it would take 4 weeks at most. Four months later and nothing was done. I tried calling multiple times and the calls got dropped, tried reaching out and no one who answered the phone could help with anything they just kept saying it would get done in two days. I ended up cancelling because this whole process was so ridiculous and I had enough. They said I couldn't get a refund as I used the courier service. This was ridiculous as I had to use the courier service in order to get the entry visa through the consulate. What a horrible and disappointing experience and I will never reccomend these guys and discourage anyone from using them.**As someone else mentioned, it's not legal to hold passports for so long. There are far better and easier options for visas such as the online e visa.

      I had a terrible experience applying for a visa through BLS. I stood in line for 3 hours to get inside only to be told that there was minor error on my visa application. I had written place of issue as Canada instead of whitby. This isn’t really clear on the form. I had asked the customer service rep if I could come back the next day without standing in-line the next day. He said no that he couldn’t help me. I found out the next day when I stood in line again that he in fact could have helped me, but chose not to do so. He was also condescending and rude and mentioned that he didn’t understand why people don’t know how to pay attention and not make mistakes when filling out the visa application. I went back again to get my visa application, stood in line for 3 hours again. BLS charges all these fees and don’t tell you what they are for. They also try to pressure clients who come into get their visas to do a 5 star review on ******. BLS has extremely ***** business practices, their website is not clear on what information needs to be filled out on the form, they ***** seniors and children to stand in a line for 3+ hours, and staff can be rude and pushy.

      UTTER **** - APPLICANTS BEWARE
      I applied through BLS for visa to travel to India and for more than a week the tracking information kept showing No Records Found and upon calling a million times to BLS, there were always issues with the phone lines and multiple transfers where the calls were dodged so many times to call back again and again and again and it goes on.
      BLS blindly sent my application to the Consulate without checking if the information and documents were correct after collecting hefty administration fees and then they are proud to announce a rejection of the application. WHAT SORT OF **** IS THIS OFFICE RUNNING IN SURREY?? Is there any responsible head or a manager sitting in that office with some sense to run an office where people trust and send applications and their hard earned money???
      I would like someone wise person on your team to reply and take action in your BLS office in Surrey and refund my money as I don’t have a printing machine here. There is a reason that a BLS (third party) office exists and collects money like it is nobody’s business to process applications. If no repose or sensible reply is intended I will take this to the court to sue your team of sheer incompetence.
