      Connecting with Vivint was easy, and I did have very few issues with my system. But the catch is when you go to cancel out with them - they are sneaky that way! I called in to pay for past due charges, when Costco Canada was taken over by CIBC (my autopayments to Vivint stopped). But Vivint didn't notify me (the only obligation they have is to call a phone number on the account file?). So when I called in, I paid the outstanding balance, and asked to have the account closed. At that time I removed the panel from the wall, and installed the RING security system. And Vivint calls still kept coming, so finally in July I called them to ask why they keep calling. They informed me that you can't just call in to cancel, there must be forms filled in and an email sent for confirmation. So I paid for an additional 3+ ($233) months service fees. Even though I have an email from the system, saying that the panel has not responded since mid-April, they only call from the toll free source, and don't leave any message (not obligated legally) but it keeps you legally on the hook for the payment. Disgusted with Vivint and their business practice, and will never deal with them again! Shame on you Vivint. When CIBC took over at Costco, my utility payment also got canceled, they sent me a registered letter right away. And I fixed that auto payment, right away. If Vivint would call and at least leave a message, I wouldn't be leaving this review for others to be warned of their bad behavior.

      ****** ** immensely dissatisfied with Telus customer service. We just started the business with Telus. We booked the phone and internet connection with Telus as we were getting an earlier installation date compared to other telecom companies and this was a "deal breaker". The installation date was promised on July 19, 2022. The Telus technician who came to the mall named Marco called the person on our site saying he has activated the connection from the back and he need not come to the store for installation, Order AND orde To our surprise when our Manger went yesterday in the store found there was no modem installed.
      I have had a long conversation with the sales team who promised me the installation. Today they gave me a new ticket number one that has an installation date of August 4, 2022, for the internet and August 02, 2022, for the phone. We have planned all for a store opening and we get a setback from Telus. This matter was escalated yesterday to get a callback today we haven't got it yet it's almost 4 PM.
      We are getting tickets upon ticket but no resolution. This is the message from the Sales Rep: I have here 2 ticket numbers that you can follow up to our WLN CARE
      Escalation ticket for Manager callback ************* No callback received.
      Can someone please help! We have our store opening planned we are paying for the store staff and missing out on sales. we can't open and we have to deal with all this very disappointing.
      We need a resolution.

      I had ended up moving and getting my home services canceled and waz provided with a box with a list of all the equipment that i needed to send back to telus wich seemed easy enough telus even took care of the shipping cost i just had to get it all put in this box and drop it off at the post office. It was great!! Haha until i get notified by telus that i was gonna be charged over $400 for the equipment that i sent back with them saying that i didnt return their equipment. And ever since they have done nothing but harass a** ******** me and even got a lawyer who i was contacted by Yesterday about the matter. Point is i know im not the only person they have done this to and i know im not the only person this company has bullied out of money. I like many others would strongly caution anyone when dealing with telus because when an employee fails to do their job on their end the customer ends up paying sometimes hundreds of dollars for that mistake. Dont go with telus their poor service and customer service is not worth the headach that will ensue after. And please ignor the star it wont let me post without it.I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM ANY STARS!

      Speak of having an unprofessional to lead a team of young people. ** *** **** *** ****** ***** ******** **** ***** ** ********* ******* ** ***** ************* ****** I went into a Tellus store in the GTA of Ontario to open an account a week ago. A worker that was taking care of me had a medical condition so she need to go into the office room to sit down every now and then, and she has my new acct#. I was put on hold with Tellus on the phone and at one point I was walking towards the office door to ask her for the new acct# so I can be on my way (The office door was open). Unexpectedly, the store manager started yelling at me. Her voice was so loud, **** * ***** ******* I said, “I just want to ask for my acct#.” Then she raged past me into the office and rant something about people’s personal space. The other worker came out and she gave me the acct #. **** * ***** *** ******* *** ******** *** ** ** **** ***** Then the manager had no explanation and just said, “bye” ** **** ** **** Then another worker approached me with a smile. I don’t think he likes to be put in a situation like that. * ****** ** *** * ***** * **** ** ******* **** *** ** **** *** **** ** *** ******* **** **** ******** *** ***** ***** ************ However, I was so humiliated at the time, I just made a gesture like, What’s wrong with your manager? If in doubt, there should be an onsite camera, I encourage you to fact check this incident. I'm not seeking compensation, I just simply want an apology.
      PS, very early on there was another worker, he was very helpful. He assisted me and the other worker with medical condition just to get things moving. I just had to say I appreciate that gentleman.
      I’ll keep posting my commentary until I get to speak to a representative from the office. If you ever been mistreated, please tell your story!

      "Inept". They charge customers for service not theirs! At the start of the pandemic our business internet when intermittent. We asked for service to fix it, big, BIG mistake! (Hind sight 20/20.) A service tech crossed our business internet connection through a phone number not ours, registered to a house address in town, (NOT our business uptown) and cut off our internet all together. I called service and filed reports multiple times to no avail to have it reconnected. They repeatedly sent techs to 'the house'. I told them everytime they were at the wrong address, we are a business! I explained the problem everytime. They never came to reconnect our business. After 3 weeks, I had to payout and close our 'legit business account' and move our business to ****. **** had me connected to internet and back in business connected to my banking and customers and clients in 35 minutes! Telus was billing me for the random internet at the strange house still they had put our name on. After months of dealing with these people I just threw up my hands! They are not listening. No interest in fixing their mix up. Now 2 years later, they are threatening credit collections and ruining our perfect credit history. How do these people even get to be in business? I am going to have to go to consult a lawyer and get out hands on copies of the service repair reports I filed and take them to court and counter sue. Not how I wish to spend my time. Telus is sloppy and unprofessional and can't fix their own mess. I am not paying for their mistake. Stay far, FAR away from Telus for Business!! Horrid to deal with. * *** ****** ****** ** ***

      My Telus business authentic Acct. numbers were as follows and together apprised of business internet and telephones: (SEE LETTER FROM TELLUS WED., OCT. 4, 2017)

      xxxxxxxxxxxxxx id# xxxx (...there was NO other accounts contracted by me for any purpose what so ever.)
      I authorized my Office Manager, ******* *** ***** to close our accounts after '3 weeks with NO internet access', although these were multiple service filings/reports, and no resulting reconnection repair for our sole business locatio* ***** ***** ****** **** *** ***** ***** ** ******* SERVICE AT THE HOUSE WAS NOT FOR OUR BUSINESS ADDRESS.
      The phone number associated to that mistaken address was noted as ************, Acct. no. xxxxxxxxxxx.
      I did not contract that number or account for the house address/service) from Telus* *** *** *******. But it had gotten 'under my/our business name ' in error, and from there that was the end of Telus services at our place of business until we were forced to move ** **** to get services back up. Complete fiasco!
      It was the start of the pandemic in early 2020, Telus service was barely operating. However, your service representatives replied to my Report our services were down multiple times and confirmed they would send Repair Tech(s) out. They did - but somehow one of the early Tech's had crossed our line (providing internet) with a residence somewhere in town at a residential location. We, *******, informed your service reps multiple times, ********** Janitorial had nothing to do with that residential address *** ** *** * ******** ****** *** ***** ******* ***** ** ***** ****** *** *** **** ******** ********* to NO avail. During the mess at Telus services, our business name got attached to that "house" and started billing to ********** at our true location uptown in our commercial storefront on North Avenue ****** *** **** ******** ***** ** ***** ******* ***** *****.
      Your Telus repair teams returned again and again to that wrong location, and of course, from that 'house" they could not repair our business services. They NEVER came to our business, but were going to that "house". ********** Janitorial Services nor its proprietor, me, ****** ******* had no association and nothing to do with. How Telus billing got our name on it is unknown to me!
      The BILLS for that "house" (your Repair Techs kept going to) are not mine, ours.
      After 3 weeks of NO internet (and possibly phone services) and never seeing a single Telus Repair Tech, *** ******* *** I, had to accept the truth, and understand Telus would not - or - could not repair and restore our business services. Our business communications were suffering badly with our clients and customers. Together, ******* *** I had to make a decision for the survival of our business, to move our business ** ****. We paid our Real bills out in full when we left.
      Neither ******* nor I could get TELUS service department to UNDERSTAND our business was not at that HOUSE!!...But uptown in a commercial building at ***** ***** ****** **** *** ***** ****** **, and we are still at that location today and have never had one issue **** **** *******, and because we made the hard decision to move our account, our business survived.

      So my elderly mom has two accounts. 1 for internet 1 for cellphone. Her **** card got lost in January and **** resent her a new card. **** let her know any preauthorized payments such as Telus, etc will still come out fine.
      As what they said, her payments went through fine. Now, she got a text saying she’s three months behind! No emails, nothing just a random text she thought was a scam.
      Sure enough, she looked at her account and saw they haven’t taken any money out of her cell phone for three months! All the other months were fine, just randomly it stopped in April. Her other account they continued to charge her card for.
      So after spending hours and hours talking to Telus and letting them know her credit took a hit because of their negligence (even **** said Telus didn’t even attempt after April!) they said her card expired. It did not.
      We escalated this to an account billing manager named Drako. He blamed it was all my moms fault and ignored anything I was saying. Absolutely the worst person that works at Telus. He kept placing me on hold as a “time out”. After him doing this three times I hung up. Disgusting service especially when our whole family uses Telus.
      So now my moms credit is hit, she owes a huge amount a low income customer can’t just “fork up” all due to the company that somehow screwed up on the Payment randomly and blames everyone but themselves. I’m appalled *** ********* *** ******** ** * ******* **** ** ** ***** ** ******* ***** **** ******

      ***** ********* ***** **** **** ******* ***** ** **** *** ******** ******* Bought two phones for my parents at Christmas. I was told that we could share data. I received charges from their phones. When I called, they said that data sharing is not a thing and that I am to turn off the data using my online account, which I did. I then get billed more data charges. Their tune changes again, now I have to turn off the data on the actual phone even though it says that the data is turned off on my account. They accused me of lying even though I had visual proof of the data being turned off, and I had done exactly what they said.

      ** **** ** ******* ****** *** *** ** *** I’ve had multiple problems with Telus mobility. My *Phone ** *** *** has several issues which Telus ignored. After many conversations I finally reached the “Escalation Team.” The agent told me if I didn’t like the situation I could buy out the remainder of my plan and return the phone. Horrible customer service. No loyalty to valued customers at all.

      The worst of the very worst. In my books I would give them an infinite 0. They lie and took advantage of an elderly lady. They don't respond when contacted, probably because they want to continue raping my mom for equipment that never worked properly and a contract that she was never given a copy of. 3 months after cancelling the crappy system, it's still operational. You say to yourself, "how can that be as it was cancelled"? Then you phone them AGAIN and this time they now tell you you also owe close to $1100.00 for obsolete equipment and a contract she never got a copy of. I find it hard to convey how much this company stinks. And for reasons that I'm now aware of, It's not surprising one bit that they aren't an accredited company with the BBB.
