      I work from home but lost internet connectivity this week. I bill by the hour, so the impact of losing internet for ~24 hrs is not insignificant. Firstly, Telus didn't want to send a technician for a few days!! Once I shut that ********* down, a Telus technician visited my household the following day only to find another Telus employee or contractor had arbitrarily disconnected my ***** service at the junction box down the street. For some reason (that I cannot fathom), Telus then attempted to charge ME for the service call and reconnecting their service. Through my conversations with them, it was clear that they had no misunderstanding of the situation. This is absolutely ludicrous *** **** ****** ** ******* ** **********! It makes me ill to think about how many non-IT savvy customer's they've ******* with this underhanded policy. Telus disrupts their own service and then asks their customers to pay for restoring it?! I was flabbergasted. If anything, they should be crediting me for my lost billing hours. In this "new normal" where so many people are working from home, Telus needs to treat ALL their public networking as if they're business-class - because for so many of us, they need to be. Absolutely ********** *** unacceptable. Only in a geography where there's truly only 2 internet service providers to choose from, ***** * *********** ** ****** ****** ********* **** ** ************ *******

      Hello,
      I would like to speak with your supervisor as soon as possible.
      As you know, we have spoken numerously about you reducing my Telus billings for several months prior to my Telus agreement ending on Monday, 15 August 2022. In fact, you promised me you would phone me on Friday, 12 August 2022 to “take care of the new Telus agreement.” (and provide me due compensation for previously failing to phone me, as you also promised, on Wed. 27 July 2022)— But again, your Friday, 12 August 2022 phone-call to me never happened.
      I actually thought that you had “taken care" of the Telus billings reduction on Friday, 12 August 2022, and you would inform me of that by post.
      Then on Mon. 15 Aug. 2022 at 7 pm (PDT), I received a phone-call from a person who called himself “Jay,” (who phoned me from Manila in the Philippines), and he said he too was a Telus representative and he could provide a better Telus billing reduction than what you were offering. Well, I do know that you are an actual Telus representative, but all I have from “Jay,” is his “word,” over the phone, so I phoned your direct line and I waited for your return-call. But that also didn’t happen.
      Today (Sat. 20 Aug. 2022 at 1:30 pm PDT), I received a phone call from a person who call himself “Jas,” (who phoned me from Vancouver BC), and who informed me that he was a **** representative, and that he could provide a better internet services than either “Jay,” or you (from a talk-to box) at also a better rate.
      So I need to speak with your supervisor ASAP because, I thought our communicated Telus billings were “taken care of,” when they obviously haven’t been. The second immediate problem is, I have received an August Telus-bill for more than I have ever paid previously. I paid this August Telus bill at the same rate because I thought this August bill included my July Telus bill— which I paid as usual.

      Far to much to explain here . Telus called and offered ***** ****** although all I got was a copper package. My services DO NOT WORK. My cable box blew up hasn’t worked for a month . Telus customer service called me today at 12 telling me a technician was to be at my home from 8am-5pm , NOBODY showed up. I called and management argued with me about my appointment date treating me as if I was slow , yet they called me to tell me to be home but defaulted on their own promise . They do not hold up their end of signed contracts. You may think you’re saving money , but the hassle is not worth a few bucks and still don’t have cable or internet! Sign at your own risk . I’d like all my money I’ve put into their services back considering they don’t work . I’m paying for nothing . I started recording every conversation I have with them for my own contract safety . **** **** **** ****** ******* **** **** **** * ******** **** . **** people *** ***** **** *** give false information then blatantly lie when they know they are in the wrong and do not want to rectify their mess ups . Stay away from Telus . Their services quality have significantly dropped

      Terrible. We have spent actual hours on the phone trying to cancel our service because we moved across country. We were quoted just over 200 dollars to get out of our contract (less than a year left), and now they want almost $2000. When I told them how that is unacceptable, they put us on hold for another hour and didn't get back to us. They are telling us that we must spend more to get out of this contract than we spent to exit our actual mortgage. If I could give them a zero I would. Never again.

      Telus called me to offer to renew my Internet service, offering a large loyalty discount in exchange. I've received two bills now and the discount hasn't been applied to either of them. I tried to speak with a representative to resolve this last month, but it still hasn't been fixed.

      After cutting my contract with Telus, this is the worst experience I have with Telus. When competitors offers more, Telus is not able to offer anything in returns, instead told me to cancel my current promo plan and sign up for a regular price plan with extra cost for a new phone. I do not need the dishonest sales techniques and incompetent customer service. And one of the worst thing happened to me is that new customers needed to pay full price original plan price before they can receive promotional price offered at first. I was never explained about that and had a numerous calls with different agents. You guys wasted my time. Also, the offer I was promised wasn't exact the same as described. A $15 dollar credit is broken down into 13.39 plus taxes where it comes to close to $15 but not $15 dollar credit. Theorically, I am offered $13.39 dollars credit NOT $15.
      After having enough bad experience, end to my Telus plan and you guys shut down my account right away where I can't even pay my dues. I believe extra charges occurred because you guys won't let me access to my account.
      Just a heads up for everyone.

      Well, here we go again with TELUS. Tell us what? That you guys are only for profit, not service?
      You bought out *** alarm system and now after 11 years of problem free service with *** monitoring we have nothing but loads of malfunctions. Oh yes, the loyalty guy you reach after half a day listening ** ***** *** pressing 1 or saying one..... says he will help and when you get to the crucial part???? oh well we can give you a 70.00 credit. ********** Finally was challenged by him as to a breach of contract for cancellation of service. **** ********** *** *** ****** **** **** **** ******* *** *****

      Update: I made a ****** mistake, the hours referred to the phone number to call, not whether their immediate call back service is currently available.
      I called the number and although the person there first said she does not recognize the number 777222, she but later told me the cancellation was alright and I could ignore the messages from that number (since before all of these messages I already spoke with two agents telling me they'll help me cancel the internet). I guess it's not that bad.

      Telus is incompetent. They have offered me Internet for Life, @$9.95 but now they claim I owe them hundreds of dollars.
