  Excellent service. Prompt, professional, thorough. We needed a new wood stove and Ryan provided great advice and asked all the right questions. He came out and installed the stove and took away the old one. I highly recommend him!

  We originally contacted Ryan about replacing our wood stove. He explained to us the problems and costs of upgrading our room to meet current WETT standards. He then outlined several options and forwarded us lots of information to help us choose the right gas stove. His communication was excellent - he promptly responded to calls texts and emails and patiently answered all our questions. As we moved closer to installation date were impressed that Ryan stood by the time he committed to complete our project. The installation was very professional, and he spent extra time to ensure we knew all the details of operating our new stove.   The appointment for our woodstove inspection was scheduled sooner than I had expected, and Ryan quickly gave me enough information regarding that state if its installation to make a decision regarding its removal. He made time the very next day to drop by and remove it cleanly and neatly.

  We can’t thank Ryan from FlameTech enough for helping us out in a timely and efficient manner. He’s a very good fellow and we really appreciated his help. Good workmanship and an honest job can be rare these days. Thankfully Ryan pointed out to us that our propane tank wasn’t to code due to the location of the tank. We would never have known if he hadn’t told us. The tank had sat beside an electrical outlet for years (20+) and no one else had ever pointed it out. Years of propane fills, it’s so scary. Plus, the regulator was old and in poor condition - we had the propane guys come and they agreed. Thank you Ryan, you’re such a guy for detail. I’m not sure that our paths will cross again as Ryan carefully removed it all - being seniors our gas days are done, but we will be recommending him to everyone we know. Carolyn and Ken

  Ryan at Flame Tech Heating was nothing short of great. Tried to troubleshoot the issue via email and then arrived right on the dot when he promised to appear owing to a cancellation. Excellent service. Highly recommended, especially for anyone needing service for a Valor Plus fireplace.

  FlameTech recently modified our woodstove installation to meet WETT certification requirements. Ryan Wilson provided an estimate for time and materials which was acceptable. Access to the existing installation was difficult but the work was carried out efficiently, timely and within the cost estimate provided. The insurance company representative told us the WETT report was the most comprehensive she had ever seen. We are very pleased with Ryan’s work and do not hesitate to recommend FlameTech for any woodstove requirements. R Huot.

  Ryan Wilson, owner of FlameTech Heating, was recommended to me by friends who had read all his reviews and thought I couldn’t go wrong with him. They were right! Ryan is a nice young man who was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process from quote to installation. He always answered my many questions in a timely manner – and also those of the strata property manager. Ryan and his team replaced the fireplace in my unit with a new Valor fireplace in December 2023. They took away the old fireplace and tiles and left my home as clean as when they arrived. I am extremely happy with the work done by FlameTech Heating. I love having a new, working fireplace, especially in this cold weather. I’m also very happy with the carpentry and tile work done by Jon, The Micromason, for his excellent workmanship. The whole installation (fireplace and tile) is beautiful! I strongly recommend Ryan Wilson and his team to anyone who is considering this type of installation. Thanks Ryan for a stress-free experience! Hazel J

  Ryan did an excellent job of removing our old stove and installing a new gas stove in our cottage. His work is impeccable and he was fastidious about cleaning up when he finished. Communication with Ryan was easy and he is quick to respond to any of our questions. Our son is now warm and cozy and enjoying the new stove. We would certainly recommend Ryan of FlameTech Heating if you are looking for a new stove, fireplace insert, or any maintenance. We are looking to have our old stove replaced in our home and we will have Ryan do the installation without any hesitation. A good guy who does a great job!
