Our old windows were prone to frost during winter and they were not very good at all. I would like to say that the weather pro has done excellent job. The installers and Alex are amazing and very professional. I'm very happy from what had become of our windows, a truly fascinating transformation. Weatherpro was great during the initial stages of the process. They said the installation will take one day, we thought that is efficient, as we have 13 large windows to replace. I let them do their work and did not want to hover. When I check, the two large windows in the dining room and family room were switched. I told them but they said it's too late as one is already installed. So I called their office to see if they fix that before they install the second window. I could not get a hold of the person we dealt with so they finished. The main installer just wanted me to sign the paper and pay them in full. The contract said payment in full after installation. They were trying to leave when one of the large blinds were not re-installed, one other blind cord broke and hanging loose, and some caulking was not even done and a screen is missing.
Anyway, the day after, we left for a vacation for 5 days. When we returned, the laundry room inner layer window is cracked from the hinge. It is a stress crack, nobody had touched it as it is the one with the missing screen.
So I contacted the office and sent the photo of the crack and ask the manager Alex to come and take a look.
Anyway, long story short, I asked them to get everything done in one day. They came today and switched the windows but not the cracked window.
They demand the full payment again.....
Long strings of emails later. Their stories change every time. Now we still have a cracked window, which is fine because it takes time to have it delivered but I asked to have everything done on the same day! I have wasted enough time on this process with this company.

We have already initiated the replacement process for the cracked glass unit and are currently awaiting its arrival. Following agreement with Alex, the windows were swapped and the missing screen was provided as discussed. This portion of the work has been completed in accordance with our discussions with Alex. The replacement glass unit is expected to arrive with the next shipment and will be promptly installed.
It's important to note that we did not promise to complete all aspects of the project in a single day, as this would be impractical given the necessary time for ordering, manufacturing, and shipping the glass unit from Ontario to Winnipeg. In accordance with our company policy outlined in the contract, upon completion of the installation, it is standard procedure for the customer to release 90% of the funds. This is the amount that we have requested for settlement.
Initially, we requested full payment under the assumption that the job was complete, as there were no reported issues with the glass at the time. However, upon realizing that the job was not fully finished, we informed the customer that $500 could be withheld, but the remainder must be settled, in accordance with the terms of our contract. Unfortunately, the customer has refused, which constitutes a breach of our contract terms.
We have been proactive in responding to the customer's concerns in a timely manner and have attempted to communicate with them as soon as the issue arose. The glass unit was ordered promptly, and all other aspects of the job were completed within the allowed timeframe.
We provided the customer with a convenient time and date for the window swap, which was confirmed by the customer. We did not pressure the customer into this arrangement but proceeded once confirmation was received. When the replacement glass unit is ready, we will contact the customer to schedule another appointment.J. P.

In response to Weatherpro:
The issues that resulted in my hesitation to pay the full payment were:
1. When the installers came the first time, they left two blinds not re-installed. One of the 2 blinds were on the floor and they told me I just had to buy a new one (****** ******* Silhouette), the second one is not fully installed as the cord was just hanging unattached. They tried to leave, I had to ask them to finish reinstalling these windows. They just wanted my credit card. I said I will have to inspect the windows first.
2. One of the windows is missing a screen .
3. Two Windows were switched. I wanted them swapped. This is why I didn't want to pay in full. The contract says " upon installation and satisfaction of the customer". The installation is not complete. We did not breach the contact.
4. A week later (we left for a week and when we returned), the laundry room window cracked due to stress. I called them and they asked which one. I indicated the location of the window to the service office and emailed them the exact location of the window to be replaced (on email). This is nobody's fault as it is a stress crack and not an outside force. However, I asked them to schedule an appointment to get all job done on the same day (swapping the two windows and replacing the cracked one). They agreed. Then they sent installers to do just the swapping, no replacement. I said I was not rushing, I just want them to get them done in one day. Now I have to miss work again so they can finish the job .
5. The other annoying thing is they kept asking they need to get the full payment when I already said I'll pay after complete installation. I have no problem paying for a job well done. They agreed to take some payment and I said I'll pay the rest after all is done, then they send the installers to swap the two windows and not the cracked one, and expect full payment. Later they settled for a balance of $500. I refuse to pay them until installation is done, as per the contract.
6. The service person also did not order the glass replacement when she said she was going to. She said I had to pay first. She said initially she was going to order and then schedule us to get it all done. But after she asked me which window, she had to ask the installers to locate it and tell her before she ordered. And then she wanted me to pay first. She was either ***** or misunderstanding or changing her mind. I had to ask her "did you or did you not order it yet?' silence on the phone....she has not, when she said it was getting shipped in April.
7. I had to ask the installers to caulk tbe trims, some are still not caulked. This is standard procedure, I don't watch professionals to do their work, and we get a lot of people doing work on the house, this is the only company that had to be asked to make sure they do what is minimal. ** ****** **** *** ***** **************** *** *** **** ******* ******** ****** ** *** ****** I just want this done and over with. I have dealt with many contractors, I do not sit there and watch them as they work in the house, and this company has been so stressful to deal with.

Competitive quote. The two installers were quick, didn't damage the wood frame of our living room window while taking out the old insert and putting in their new one. Went with WeatherPro because of cost, local manufacture and the warranty (hopefully, never have to use it). All questions answered before the estimate, after the estimate, and after the installation. Didn't have to wait long, just a few months for the living room window replacement.Weather Pro Windows & Doors Inc.

I had 2 doors installed and placed in the exact opposite of what the original doors were.
I had signed the contract ,not paying attention to the hinges on the outside.As I was signing for 2 brand new doors replaced...not 2 brand new doors installed the exact opposite.
The steel door is now swinging into the closet
The storm door is not swinging into the deck wall ,but the exact opposite towards the middle of the deck!
If the installers paid attention they would have noticed when taking the old frame out...that the new installation was the exact opposite!
They could have questioned it and I would not be stuck with 2 doors placed in the wrong way.
I would have expected the company to at least change the storm door for me at not cost(as they could have easily resold it as it was same day that I noticed everything was placed in opposite).....but they flatly refused as I had signed the contract.Weather Pro Windows & Doors Inc.

Despite a negative review, the customer's description of the situation is incorrect. We completed the work in accordance with the signed contract, and prior to signing, our salesman had multiple in-person appointments to address all of the customer's questions. Only after receiving final confirmation did we proceed with the project. Upon completion of the installation, the customer contacted our office and the salesperson to express a desire for the door to open in a different manner. We promptly called and explained that we had installed what they had initially ordered and offered to replace the product as requested, but at an additional cost. The customer understood the situation, and our salesperson remained in contact to confirm the next steps. However, at some point, they ceased communication, leaving the situation unresolved until we received the negative review.Review fromTrevor J
