Yes for sure I was talked into buying a water softener ,from them in August of 2021, i paid monthly on it and when they got into trouble , they changed the company that handled the financing from Econo to ********** , and I started paying for the whole thing all over. I have spoken to ********** to see what was left on the loan , he gave me the figures and since April 2024 I was paying off the original amount all over again after paying for 27 months, the amount at the start was 4157.09 and the amount still owing is 3695.25. I don't believe this is right. Is there any thing I can do about it ? thanksAtlantic Environmental Systems Inc

in January this company answer a simple survey I filled out for a water test, the guy that arrived at our door named Zack he was very enthusiastic and said I need to get my wife into the kitchen to watch his water test demo. I explained my wife is physically unable to come to the kitchen due to disability. Zack stated okay I’ll bring stuff to you both so then asked for various items to use in thr kitchen plus to boil water for tea. He made a mess in the kitchen. He proceeded to explain with showing us this odd jar that we are drinking very hard water aka dirt was explained and said why are u letting your wife and grandson drink this poison , I won’t leave here with out and agreements this evening. Please don’t keep risking your health.. I explained we rent and doubt our landlord would allow us or have anything added to the place. He stated more then once you don’t need landlords okay as we would come get the unit once u move and hold it for u at no charge until u are ready for it again. He showed us some pictures of the units said would also though in free 4000 worth of various cleaning products as well including dishwasher detergent I explained we don’t own one, he said once we get product we can call and exchange it for more dish soap for sink. He then got me to fill out contact into and sign and he’d fill out the rest before he leaves he did some math on a paper and said wow this is to much let me call my boss and get u a better deal that I promise will cost less but the boss will be not happy. He call and argue with someone about cost and said while on call that much better for under 60 for a month would that work I said okay , Zack said okay and end call. He said we can have the unit attached tomorrow and left . Next day a guy came and I ask will this cause water interference with neighbours water he said no with was wrong cause or did , and left the cleaning stuff and we tried to stop it , was duped with issues reaching them and threatened costs.Atlantic Environmental Systems Inc

Absolutely disgusted with the company. I have a family with 3 young children and livestock. Their water systems are not sustainable and are requiring servicing ever 3-4months. They are claiming it's because my water is so terrible, that I have to install a water cistern (which would cost more money) and collect rain water. Apparently the worst water that their engineer has ever seen. I've been in contact with 2 other water treatment companies that all inform me that my water isn't that bad, it is treatable, and Atlantic Environmental has the current system set up to incorrectly and it's causing more issues. My water has not been sustainable for my animals, or my family and children, and the disgusting water that is coming up into my home has clogged the filters in my washing machine, dishwasher, sink taps, and shower heads. I've had a plumber out multiple times to fix my appliances and they said these issues will keep happening as long as I still have this water system installed. I advise everyone to stay clear of these people.Atlantic Environmental Systems Inc

READ THE FINE PRINT!!! The price of the contract changes after a non-transparent specified timeframe. This was not explained clearly and the monthly payment will increase without warning by 30% or more after 1+ years. The contract is not black and white as presented. A lot of shady areas. Hello, I was contacted by this company,they told me I had won a free first Aid kit for doing a survey in December. I don't remember ever doing a survey, they were not specific on the year. I allowed the free water test, which lasted several hours. When I was going over the payments, after I was told my water had impurities, I was given a very drastic reduction in payments. Going from $ 250.00 a month , down to $ 147.00 a month for my budget. I received the detergents offered to me at $10.00 cash. I was told I had 3 month to see if I liked the system. I've had it less than a month, I have not seen a change in my water, just my water pressure, is lessend. Now because of email issues, they are trying to bully me into given them a void check. After reading the reviews also. I realized I have been mislead. I feel I've been frauded, as I did not even receive the free first aid kit. I do not wish to do business with this company. This company is amazing with a top notch product and customer service. I had phoned this company after seeing them on ******** to get my water tested as I am on a well and had a lot of mineral buildup in my kettle, Sink, Shower Head, and spray faucet as well as a film on top of all my drinks such as coffee, tea, juice etc... A gentleman came to our home and did a test on our water of which we had 500 ppm foreign substances in it and the World Health Organization reports that anything over 350 ppm should not be drank. My water was also very hard which I called him out on as I was always lead to believe that hard water will not get sudsy..but hold on... I now know that almost all cleaning products are made by ******* and ****** who intentionally put phosphates in their products to negate this.. After the demonstration the gentleman put on, my ppm went down to less than 30 ppm and my water is so soft that I now use healthier phosphate free cleaners in my home. I also received over 1000 dollars in extra phosphate free cleaning supplies that will allow me not to buy anything for at least 5 years. My water is so much more healthier; tastier and extremely soft now and I just love it. Tge company has now called me 3 times since installed 3 months ago just doing follow up asking if I am happy which is unheard of. On top of all this... the company is sourced 100% Canadian... I am extremely pleased with this company as they are a great example of what a successful and trustworthy business should be like.Atlantic Environmental Systems Inc

The sales rep was supposed to come do a water test and give us the prize of a first aid kit we had won. Sounded O.K., right? They insisted that my husband be there for the visit. I wondered if the cute sales rep was hoping to convince my husband?? First, rep was over an hour late, stayed for over 2 hours and seemed to be made to do high pressure sales tactics for a boss that she had to call 4-5 times and the price kept going down. While she was likeable enough, she swore several times and used some inappropriate language. Left after 10 pm with some prompting. The whole scenario seemed questionable. My parents got a cold call (red flag) to do a water quality Survey, then a few months later a call to tell them they won a FREE gift (red flag) for doing the survey & a FREE water test (red flag). If you let them in your house, your water test is bad (red flag) and then begins the pressure selling presentation of all the products that can fix & "save" you (red flag). The product is overpriced & IF they manage to talk you into financing it through a company they use, you're already preapproved for $20,000 at an interest rate of 13.99% (14%) (red flag) for 60-180 months (15 yrs!!) A mortgage basically! Not something that elderly people would want! (red flag) They include FREE (Red flag) detergent valued @ $4,000 when you purchase one of their packages, if you donate 10 cans of food that they claim to match and donate to the food bank...who does that? The system gets installed the next day, no install fee because they waived it during the purchase (red flag). During the 10 day cooling off period you may cancel the contract for no reason. They tell you there is an uninstall fee. $150 +tax for each unit you bought & $300 to return the FREE detergent if you've opened up any of the boxes! NO WHERE in the contract does it state that the install was included or an uninstall fee if cancelled. They claim that it was verbally told during the deal. I argued over the phone vehemently and got my parents out of this mess, no money was given to this company! I'm reporting them to everyone I can. I laugh at their responses to complaints I'm reading on this site! They initially sold my parents the whole package for over $19,000 ,financed and one unit they didn't even NEED. They sold a unit that filters CHLORINE. My parents have a well in the country! Deceitful & shady! The PEI government revoked their license because they targeted elderly people. I accepted a visit from a representative from this company on February 15, thinking that I would be getting a proper water test. After several hours of demonstrations of the “tests” I agreed to purchase one of their products with the understanding that I could cancel within 10 days by fax, mail or in person. On day 5 I tried to send a letter to cancel by fax at the Chester Municipal Office. There were two attempts to send the fax, neither of which were able to be completed. The municipal employee phoned the company to confirm the fax number and was told by the company representative that sometimes their fax was “wonky”. I have just sent a copy of my letter of cancellation by courier to the company’s address, given as 10 Morris Drive, Unit #10 in Burnside Business Park. Delivery is scheduled for tomorrow, February 21. I will submit another statement to BBB with an update. I’ve left a 1-star rating because it was required in order to submit my statement, but I would have preferred the option of “no stars”.Atlantic Environmental Systems Inc

Got my senior parents to agree to put in the system in our home. I called 2 days after I got back home. They removed their equipment but charged 517.50 to take it back even with the contract saying no questions asked if done in 10 days. Full refund.Atlantic Environmental Systems Inc
