  I am unhappy with this company. Received a scratch bingo card in the mail. I scratched and won. I phoned the number and of course in order to get my prize I have to book an appt to have my water checked. But due to the very nice prizes, including a Motorcycle, laptop, tablet, $500 gift card, etc... I decided to give it a try, as they told I DEFINTELY won one of this prizes. They didn't show up for first appointment, and after I called them an hour later they said they had to reschedule. The guy showed up for the next appointment and was here for 75 min. I could barely get him to leave. I said I wasn't buying anything, and that he did a great sales pitch and I would even let his boss know that he did a great job, and was I interested but had to hold off for now with christmas coming and everything costing so much to live. He literally said I cared more about money than the health of me and my 11 year old son! I was floored. I just kept saying that wasn't true but I can't afford any other monthly payments right now, even if it's a good deal and it's supposedly saving me money. He kept saying that and being rude about it. So that made me uncomfortable and angry. Next, in order for me to get my prize I had to buy two envelopes and stamps and send off the scratch card to them in the mail. Today my "gift card" showed up in the mail. It's an entertainment card where you have to subscribe for a year at a time and spend money at businesses to get any kind of deal 50% off second purchases and so on. SO is 100% FALSE ADVERTISING and these companies need to be held responsible for this in my opinion. It is WRONG what they are doing. If I had the resources I would get a lawyer, but I don't, sadly. I'm hoping these reviews or comments help to make a difference. Let me know anything else I can do to make a difference, because this is a SCAM move by this company.

  Complete scam of a company Sends out winning cards that entail you booking a service to receive said prize that they then cancel.

  My complaint is about the pricing on the system we just had installed. Reverse Osmosis was installed for over $3000.00 come to find out my brother has his put in for $500. Like really guys! This is truly ripping people off to the finest Atlantic Environmental Services I hope ***** gets you back! The owners! They get very sweet guys to come to do the selling, in which I should have known something was fishy when we had to sign up that night. ****** in

  Sheila, thank you for your review. Our pricing is very competitive based on what you get. Our unit is a 5 stage reverse osmosis high performance drinking water system with technology that is state of the art. Plus you are getting A LIFETIME warranty on the unit and yearly service calls for life included in the price. If you have any issues you call us and we will come to service the unit for you. Once you factor in all of these additional benefits then it is well worth the price you pay. I am sure you are well aware of the cost of having a plumber come to your home to service your equipment and with our company that is included for you. We also provide a free move at no additional charge. So anytime you own the equipment we will provide a relocation of the equipment for you. Again this is included in the price you pay. With all of these benefits I am sure you can see that it is actually a better price than what your brother paid.

  This business scams people into believing their water is bad and that paying them thousands of dollars will fix it. Sales people coerce vulnerable individuals into signing a contract at the time of a free water test. The charismatic sales person was late for the "free water test" and stayed for almost four hours, until 9:00 PM on a Friday at my mother's house. She's a senior, living alone with well water. They used magic tricks (dye) in a water demonstration (no legitimate water test was done and no results were provided). He convinced her that her water quality was bad and sold her a water testing system for $10,000 including a UV treatment system that WAS ALREADY INSTALLED at the home at the time of the home visit. The contract also includes a line item that reads "Soap Package" valued at $4000 which is "included". Massive red flag. The coercion started with the cold call to my mother, and continued at the home visit. It went on when I called to cancel. I requested to speak with the owner and was told they were "not available". Furthermore, the 10 day cancellation period for contracts is the law. These are facts.

  Received a call and was told for completion of water survey we won a “free” 1st aid kit. Took a survey about environmental water about 1 month ago, no indication that a company had started the survey. They called from a New Brunswick phone number The lady showed up at 3pm and left at 6pm. She did lots of water tests on our water from our tap and our Brita filter. She had a small water filter running from one of my bowls. She showed us what was in our water, read through the presentation. The presentation kept saying about how unhealthy our water was and all the illness our water cauldron cause. Through it all she spoke about a filter system for the home. At the end she went over the cost of what we spend now and how much we would save with their system. There was no mention of the yearly costs that were added during the presentation. This was purchase of salt and service fees etc. Then if we gave 10 grocery items to Feed Nova Scotia we would receive $4000.00 in cleaning supplies when we signed up for the system. She had to send in a picture of all the tests she did to the head office and called them she was finished. So we asked how much for the 1st system, the said $104 per month , when the heard we were retired the price dropped to $88 mph. Then she showed us we could buy a set of pots from them also. We said we would have to think about it and let them know. Wanted us to make a decision then but we said NO! When we asked about the free first aid kit, was told that we would receive it if we purchased the system. The young lady who did the presentation was polite and acted professionally. She was doing what the head office told her to do. So sad that they have to lure people to their business under false pretences. Will NOT be buying anything from them, what other things are they hiding.

  After reading some reviews, I see this company has a taste for ripping off seniors! The sales people are super nice, so nice in fact that they will tell a dying elderly woman that the system that she didn't need in the first place because she is on municipal water would be covered if she were to pass. This company should be very proud of their sales people, they get the job done!

  This is a company that preys on seniors. A “representative” showed up at my fathers house to sell him a UV light system on a Saturday! He already has a brand new osmosis system (That company passed along my fathers info to this one). The representative used my name and said I had won a free water test (they somehow had my name), so he thought it was legit. After, few hours, he convinced my father to sign a sales agreement for $2872! At the time of signing, dad even said: I don’t think I really want this…and the guy reassured him he “needed it.” Thank goodness my father called the next day to explain what happened and asked us to help him cancel. The back of the contract says you have 10 days to cancel. Hard to do when no one will call you back or return an email. The receptionist answers the phone, but says she can’t help you and will have a manager call you back. Didn’t happen, so I called again. She covers for the so called managers and says they are in meetings. It took another family member to help me get confirmation of cancellation. They had to refuse to get off the phone until someone got a manager and then refused to get off the phone until the manager sent an email confirming cancellation. These people are not a legit business. They don’t even allow people into their Dartmouth office because of COVID(?!) but send out “representatives” to people’s houses! Do not purchase from or support this business in any way!

  High pressure sales tactic, Salesman would not leave. Didn't advise the financing was through a finance company. Product price much higher than normal market value. Would not answer telephone when we contacted them.
