Terrible quality of support and especially the technical line. In a month the rating dropped by 60 points for no reason. There is no reason for such a drop, which was confirmed by a detailed report from my history. After an hour ** ********** with different operators, we finally got through to technical support. You know what they said. "We do not influence what it shows, the program calculates everything automatically and therefore it is not our problem." What then does technical support mean that cannot consider technical problems even with evidence of the absence of grounds for such actions. Technical support operators cannot even explain what exactly they support. Who will protect ordinary users?

TransUnion was notified by both myself and a phone company that the actual details concerning the account were wrong. A TransUnion employee said it would be corrected. They refused to correct the information on my file *** ************ **** ***** ***** ***********.

Recently I signed up for the identity protection, after submitting my info they put together my data and had me living in a different city and working for an employer that doesn't exist. **** ** * **** ********  I talked to them by phone and they wanted me to send copies of my passport and bank info. ******!

They refuse to deal with a dispute even though they have a letter from the bank that states an account was paid in full over 2 years ago and have inhibited me from getting a mortgage. When you call they tell you a supervisor will call you back in 48hrs which never happens and they refuse to do anything else to help you just tell you to wait, be patient, and that you can wait over and over for a supervisor call that never comes.

********* ************* Makes it seem like you're getting a free credit report and they charge you $28/mo. There is no checkout and no payment details it just shows up via email after you view your report. Luckily I did get a refund after arguing with them but had they been transparent to begin with I would have never paid. **** ******** ****** **** paying a monthly fee for something that should be freely available.

    **** ** * ***** * ** ** ***** *** *** have never missed a payment in my life.
    I had a credit score of 890 of 900
Then I bought two cars and my credit score dropped. So ok. The I paid off those two cars and my credit score dropped. ?????
Then I paid off my mortgage and my credit score dropped.
Now my credit score is only 798 out of 900 . They punishing me for payment off my debts. My credit rating should be excellent .
This affects me because it makes it more difficult to get a new loan in future and it also makes my home insurance more expensive because nowadays home insurance premiums are affect by credit rating.
    ***** ******* ********* *** ******* ***** **** ******* ******  They want people to pay interest for their credit rating. **** ** *** ***** ** * ******** ******* ***** *****

Charged immediately when signing up for free credit report
I signed up for Transunion to get a free credit report and I was immediately charged $28.69 for credit monitoring and a membership I didn't want.
It was annoying and I had to call in to cancel and get a refund.
I didn't see anywhere where it asked me to sign up for a credit monitoring membership. All I saw was that it took my credit card information upon signing up.
    This is misleading. I would not sign up again for this. * **** **** ** **** ********

Like others here, I was offered TU credit checking as a free service following a data leak by one of my service providers. Without my realization or permission, TU quietly started charging my credit card $28/mo for the service. It took several months before I noticed the charges ****** ** ***. When I did notice, I logged on to TU’s web site and followed their cancellation process. At the last step, TU offered to continue my service for $9.95/mo. I agreed to stay on at that rate, but was furious that I was charged 200% markup the past several months simply for not complaining. I called their customer support and negotiated a full refund for the prior months that I was over-charged. I suggest you do the same if you’ve overpaid.

Cannot access my Consumer Disclosure without paying for credit monitoring $25/month. Have tried clearing cookies, trying new browsers, private browsing sessions, etc. Everytime I go to the link they provide me for the "free" Consumer Disclosure, it keeps redirecting me to the PAID credit monitoring service with NO option to access my Consumer Disclosure.
I will be reporting this to the government of Canada, since we are legally entitled to be able to access our Consumer Disclosure, and TransUnion is trying to **** us out of our money. BTW, my credit is "Excellent" with *******, and **********, so this isn't a retaliatory review, it's just to point out that they're acting illegally.

************ ******** ****** Through chat or phone. They treated me like ******** Speaking down and not providing a solution for the issue I was having. Said a supervisor would call me, but never did. I asked what happened to make my score drop so *********. I was told there is no way to find that information. If I wanted to set my debt straight by paying the credit supposedly due, I couldn't.
    *** **** * ****** ****** ** ** *** **** ******* * ****** ***** ** *** ******** ****** **** *** ********** ****** **** Right now my score through my *** account shows **. *** **** *** that's an impossibility. I am going to try and talk to someone but I know ** ** ***** it will be pointless.
