      Here's my first-hand account of the Cogeco experience. My father has been dissatisfied with our internet provider for a very long time and recently decided to look into this new high-speed internet that they're just beginning to offer in our rural area. I was waiting for a scheduled delivery in our yard, which just so happens to be connected with a 120ft agricultural driveway to a provincial highway. I was wearing full CSA hazards, 3 identification badges(1 photo I.D badge) 1 walkie-talkie with a rapid response headset) 2 body cameras, 2 handheld camera's in a holder pouch, and multiple 150-decibel anti-aggressor alarms. Our priority before any service is the accessibility of our driveway and the safety of our farm which is of course vital to our business which began with partial obstruction of our property driveway. I sounded off a handheld alarm rather than yell to notify the flag truck which was guiding the official installation of the line to please move his truck in a position that would not obstruct the lawful use of our family's property. Even though this option was available, the driver refused. What began with a simple request ended with a threat being issued against me (lawful resident and staff worker) Approximately 1 hour of swearing, yelling(screaming over hundreds of feet into pasture directed at my face), and taunts/******* from several of their employees ***** * *** **** ******* ** *********** ** ***** ******. Involved there were four trucks attempting to impose a defacto right of access for their company to our property accessways. These employees took pictures of us without our consent. I have over 1 hour of body cam footage of their ****** company foray and just want to know one thing. Is this kind of behavior tolerated by Cogeco Inc?

      ** * ***** **** **** ******** * ****** ****** ******* **** *** *** They have no problem raising rates with forever promises of 'improved service', but they can't even deliver consistent service. I've been with this company for my cable tv service since July 2011 and over the last few years, they've gone way downhill

      The service is sub par. Internet was knocked out twice in the past 2 weeks by road construction (not Cogeco's fault). My neighbours with **** have same-day service and are fixed back up same day. With Cogeco, both times I have had to wait 2 days for a technician to be sent out. I work from home, so not acceptable. I'm looking at **** now. Cogeco needs to hire more sub-contractors so they can fix issues same day. At the very high price we pay I expect great service.
