      Since joining I've had two email notifications of updated to services "I receive" that were not made by me and considering how new the account was I do not believe there was any hack either than the **** that I would receive the service. As such I expect this account to be closed immediately as I will be pursuing further action. *********** *********. Not only to have this occur and not have access to internet or TV for at minimum these last four weeks and upon calling to express concern any responsibility was disclaimed and even worse put on me for absolutely no imaginable reason. Cancel the account. I am moving providers to a company who at least now's how to provide service for more than three weeks of a billing cycle.

      Decided to switch from **** to Cogeco after a sales rep visited our house. They failed to show up for the install appointment 2 weeks in a row (I spent 9 hours both days waiting and received no call from them). On 3rd appointment when they showed up they discovered the distance to the street was too far so no install (they were going to use coax, not Fibe). We also found out they cancelled our **** service (to port our land line over to Cogeco). Without any **** service for 8 days. Finally gave up and called ****. They came in 2 days and hooked us up to true Fibe. Cogeco technician told me their customer service has been outsourced to a 3rd party. They were extremely frustrating to deal with. No escalation process and up to a week to call us back. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. *** ****** **** ***** ** **** *** ** *******

      We have been long time customers, approx. 25 years and use to be happy with Cogeco. But in the last several months it has been nothing but a headache. The first was for internet issues back in May. A very long story short, our internet was glirchy and unreliable.
      Cogeco said it looked like it may be an exterior connection issue. A tech came to connect a temporary line outside. He said another tech guy would come out before the fall to put in a new outside connection. Hasn't happened. The same tech said he put 2 wifi pods in our house to help with our issues, but with no mention of a monthly charge. Low and behold we receive a charge.
      We wanted our issue fixed, NOT to be charged more money for shoty service! Cogeco said they would remove the charge. A month later, we are charged again. Cogeco again said they would remove the charge. And then we were charged AGAIN!
      Now lets take us to the last 8 days - Saturday, November 26 we called to say we bought a new tv but our channels were coming in blurry. After an unnecessary lengthy conversation with an agent, it was determined we needed new cable receivers because ours were old and not up to par for the new tv. Fine.
      We requested two new receivers (one for our upstairs tv, one for downstairs) to fix the issue. The agent sends us 1 receiver, which was the exact same SD box we already had and provided no channel changer. So, now we have to send it back and wait for a tech to come out with a new HD receiver. Fine.
      Then more issues with the internet pods. After another lengthy call with a supervisor, we think everything is sorted only to find some of our channels have been disconnected.
      Cogeco, look at our account, you will see the amount of HOURS we've had to spend on the phone with your agents because of their errors, misinformation or just a lack of information altogether.
      So, this is the thanks we get after 25 years of being a Cogeco customer- inflated prices and unreliable customer service.

      For the love of God please fix this *******!!!! Always freezing or losing sound. I hold my breath changing channels because it'll just load and load and load and load and load and load. I have to reset the box at least every other if the remote will work to lete reset it. Otherwise I have to unplug it and wait. It just sucks!!!!! **** ***** **** ******

      Worst customer service. They constantly hangup on you after being on hold for several minutes. I've been on hold in total for over an hour now. I've had to call back 5 times within that time frame but they hung up on me while in the queue every time. I can't even get through.

      I went to cogeco from shaw direct because of the possibility to save some money.
      Big mistake!! I have been with cogeco for TV for a month now and I can say it's not up to par at all!
      Channels keep freezing or the sound quit quite often. Their services is very bad as a chat or on the phone. Nobody seams to know what they are talking about. I saw many people online having the same issues with the channels and they can't get a real answer neither!! Their PVR box are too cheap to begin with. I am thinking to cancel the TV combo as their equipment needs to get better!! But when I read other people trying to cancel, I think it will be very difficult to do.

      My call this evening with Jessica was VERY helpful, compassionate and professional.
      The call was quick, my issue was resolved and it was just an amazing reception I received.

      They are very reasonably priced - & offer incredible service.
      If only all companies Customer service Reps treated their loyal Customers so kindly, life would be a whole lot easier.
      I am so thankful I made the call when I was thru I felt nothing but incredible relief (after panicking all day!)

      Wow where to begin with COGECO SERVICES! Unfortunately they are the only one in my rural area. Every month I am on the phone for long periods of time trying to make sense of charges that seem to just appear or increases without notice!
      The customer service lately has been awful! Why is Cogeco allowed to do this to customers?
      * ***** *** ********* ****** ** ****** ****** * **** **** ** ***!
      To many hands in the pot and one doesn't know what the other is doing! It's confusing and so uncalled for!
      Already I have been on the phone for a half hour, like I don't have better things to do! Like work to pay for unsatisfactory services!
      Every month when I receive a bill it's the same issues, overcharged for stuff that I was told were part of a promotion, Or I should of had the wifi pods as part of the promotion that was offered!
      It's so confusing and frustrating!!!!!!
      I was told again I was going to be sent a survey, told her don't send me nothing to my email I have filled out enough with no response or clarity, it's a waste of time! I think the surveys just go in the garbage! Not impressed with services lack of customer care to address the issues just keep getting passed onto someone else who doesn't have a clue what's going on! AGAIN AND AGAIN.

      Cogeco epic system is the most unstable garbage TV service I've used ever!! Completely unstable with a list of issues that would take me a week to list. Stay away from this service folks. The price keeps going up and the service keeps going down. Something about that doesn't jive with me!

      Extremely intermittent service…. When you call to get it fixed I’ve had to wait on hold for at least 30-75 minutes every time only for the same issues to happen again within the week- I’ve given up calling to get it fixed . My last bill after only having the service for a few months increased 15$. Ive currently been on hold for 55 minutes and counting to discuss this….
      Very frustrating company with high wait times and prices for terrible service and internet!
