      **** ******* ***** ** ** **** ***** **** ******* **** **** *********. Paid 1800$ to have my fridge fixed, for it to completely stop working 2 hours after thr tech left my house. After weeks of fighting they claim the fridge needs more parts and Will cost another $2000 to fix. They basically take your money then claim there's more issues beyond there control. I hired another company to check it out and it was basically a broken wire to one of the parts they claimed they changed. This other company charged me 150$ and my fridge is working perfectly fine.

      I had a dryer issue and called The A Team Appliance Team (https:*****************************) expecting professional service. What I got was the opposite. The technician missed the original appointment entirely—no call, no update, and after multiple phone calls to the office (each saying he was "20–40 minutes away"), he never showed up.
      When he finally arrived the next day, he quoted $290 to replace a switch, which I confirmed was the full cost. In my initial call I told them to bring the switch and it was just the switch that needed to be repaired. Not only did he not bring the switch - but he also told me it would be another 2-3 days to fix and THEN I later got a call saying the job would now cost $422 more, due to a supposedly broken timer (which was not broken) and to cover the switch (already quoted). He also said he wouldn’t return for another 2–3 days.
      Worse still, he damaged the dryer by breaking the cover and taping it back together with black electrical tape. I had to hire another technician from a different company, who fixed the issue properly within three hours—at a fair, transparent rate (full price of $246 *** **** **** ********* **** the technician at The A Team Appliance Repair was misleading and **** about the repair requirement because the Dryer Timing didn't require to be replaced and it was the Switch - which is what I said was the only thing I wanted to be repaired).
      Between the missed appointments, misleading pricing, damage to my appliance, and the unprofessional conduct *** *** ******** ********** * **** **** ***** **** ******* * ******* **** *** ******** *** ********* *** ****** *** ** *** ** ** **** ********

      ***** **** ******* ** *** ****** I’ve never had a more frustrating experience with a repair service.
      They came to inspect my fridge on May 21 and told me the part would arrive in 3–4 business days. Once it came in, they booked me for May 30 — but no one showed up. I had to call them myself, and was told the technician’s car broke down. I asked for another technician, but they refused and said no one was available until June 5.
      When the technician finally arrived, he told me his car never broke down — he was never even scheduled by the company. That was the first major red flag.
      He installed the part, left, and within an hour the fridge stopped working again. Same issue. I called back, desperate to get this resolved, and was told the next available appointment was June 13 — almost a full month without a working fridge.
      I asked for a refund so I could go elsewhere. They refused — no refund, no accountability, no real solution.

      We booked a Service Call when they told us it would be 80 dollars. I was not there when the service person arrived. The person who came to the door was unable to move the fridge to look at the water leak so he had to get a 70 plus year old lady to help him pull it out. He quoted a repair at $600. She refused the service she asked him to turn the screw that connected the water line to the fridge as she saw water leaking out. He did so and they worked together to put the fridge back. He then presented her with a $322.05 bill. He forced her to pay by cash or debit before he would leave. She felt very uncomfortable so she relented and paid the full amount by Debit. I called their customer service and was connected to someone in India, I believe.       Quoted $80 for diagnosis but charged > $300 for just diagnosis. Drained washing machine without connection to drain. Used my towel to wipe up water but then cut himself and used my towel to wipe blood - balled up towel so I found the blood stained towel after he left. Took top off machine, but screws left all over and 1 lost. Machine worked before he arrived, with opposite water temperatures, and after his testing and a spark, now it doesn't work at all.

      Booked service came gave $ amt before looking.
      Unscrewed door, re screwed back
      Billed 310.00 les 80.00 disc
      Did not fix problem still doing same thing.
      Excuses, then offered if we paid another 395.00.

      **** *** ********* I asked for Serial and Part numbers, gave me wrong Serial and Part #. They quoted for replacement Glass $747.70 +gst. Got the right Model and Serial Number from where I bought it from. The Price is $129.95 ***** ****** * ****** ****** ** ******

      ***** ****** *** * ********* business model where they charge an inflated price just to come to your house, offer absolutely zero insight or service before then telling you that the cost to actually asses the issue is hundreds of dollars more than what they communicated when you booked the service call. ***** ****** **** ** ***** ** ** ***** *********

      The A Team Appliance Repair
      N0T RECOMMENDED.
      Poor service, too much delay and costs me a lot. Not even calling me about technician not showing up, I’ve been waiting for nothing.
      Food spoiled because I was told to empty the Refrigerator and he didn’t show up and the office didn’t even tried to inform me.
      Not consistent and cannot be relied on. ****** ********
