** * ***** **** * **** *** ***** ******** * ***** **** ** ********** ** ** *** I moved in a new condo last year and it comes with some Miele appliances. I tried to obtain extended warranty from Miele in July and paid in full but I have not received the formal original Warranty Certificate. During this process, it was almost impossible to reach their representative in the Warranty Department. I'll name her KG here. She never picked up her phone nor returned my call no matter how many messages I left. She may replied to my email once in a blue moon. She finally sent my Warranty Certificate but it belonged to somebody else. I requested her to resend it in early August and have not heard from her ever since. It is now October and yet I still haven't received my document. * ** ********** *********

I have purchased an induction cooktop from Miele (What a mistake!) These things typically last forever. Especially there is no wear and tear in these items. You just turn on and off, there is not much you can do to harm the cooktop. 10 days ago, after boiling some eggs suddenly we heard a pop sounds from one of the burners and the whole cooktop stopped working and went into lock mode. After reaching to customer service, they charged me $500 first and then they booked a technician to come in two days. The guy showed up and in a second without even lifting it up, he said he knew the problem is the electrical component of the unit it costs $780 and he does not have it in his truck and has to order and it would take at least a week! Now sure why he even bothered to come and waste our time (I don't care about his time), he knew the problem already! The guy also mentioned the electrical part is not dead because of mis-use or wear and tear just faulty design.
After begging the customer service again, they booked another technician to come a week later, The second guy showed up late and waste half of our day from work. And guess what the second guy also did not bring the electrical part to replace, he just came as if this is the first visit. We are beyond frustrated with this ****** brand. They are charging a lot without providing a good quality or customer service.
      We are 10 days so far without any cooktop! Can you imagine? * ***** *** * **** ** *** **** *** **** *********

******** *******!!! we purchased a home and realized before we moved in the oven door glass was broken the old owners replace this before we moved in June 30 2022. The cost was $750. The glass just broke again for no reason almost exactly a year later. It is now August. 2023 and I am told the glass is no longer under warranty… The warranty ended June 30. There is no explanation as to why the glass is randomly breaking. There is no extension of one month saying well. The warranty ended, but we stand behind our product and we will still cover it because these things should not happen. They are so difficult to deal with, and so rude to their customers. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I now have to replace the glass again because I have no choice. I cannot use the oven with no guarantee that this isn’t going to happen again.. * ***** ***** *** ******** **** **** *******!!!!

For a company that sells such high-end products, the lack of customer centricity is appalling. When I finally got to Jim at the President’s office I was expecting to have my issue resolved, yet he completely dismissed it with a “sorry not sorry” attitude and lacked very basic customer service skills. Had Miele given me the 90 dollar credit I requested, they could have kept a customer for life. Instead they lost thousands in future revenues because of their inflexibility and myopic view of addressing customer concerns.
I’ve never been treated so rudely by a company, let alone someone who represents the President. The only people who actually listened and tried to help were the front-line customer service reps, yet when I shared with Jim that the reps acknowledged my issue and said the President’s office should be able to help me out, he got annoyed and said he’ll “talk to Julie” to ensure she doesn’t misrepresent the company’s willingness to help its customers ever again. Lol. I hope Julie moves on to another company that actually values her customer service skills.
We’ve had a number of other issues with faulty Miele products (oven dial, oven light etc.) but this lack of customer centricity sealed the deal and we will NEVER purchase any Miele products again. Reading the other reviews I see my experience is very much on brand with how they treat their customers, which is a terrible business strategy. I hope they take a hard look at themselves and revamp their outdated approach, otherwise there's just no way they're staying in business long-term.

We are on our second Miele dishwasher and although we like the product it does appear to have weakness in the drain one way valve as we have had to replace this on both units. This is not a major issue as it is extremely easy to replace.
The difficulty is that this part, as in the case of other parts, is only available from Miele based in Ontario and they will only ship by ********* ground, okay if you live in Ontario but not if you live in Vancouver where you have to wait at least a week to get your part!
I did speak with the Service Manager to see if the part could be shipped ********* Express, but he said they didn’t deal with that company! I didn’t think it was a different company!!
So I emailed the President ( not possible to speak to him), but he has not bothered with the courtesy of a reply.
Having to add a week onto getting an appliance fixed because we live in Vancouver is not acceptable.
Our next dishwasher won’t be a Miele!

I have contacted customer service three times and have asked to speak with someone higher up but no one has contacted me. I have a two year old dishwasher and the lettering to tell me what cycle the dishwasher is running is peeling off. They keep telling me it’s a “cosmetic “ issue. But it’s a function issue as I can’t tell what cycle is running. I have six people in my household and if someone changes the cycle, even by accident, they don’t know what cycle is running. They want me to pay $285 for a service call. I don’t need the dishwasher assessed. I need the lettering back on. No one has even told me if this is possible. Very poor customer service.

Bought all Miele appliances a year ago and 10 year warranties on all. The refrigerator is leaking water. Has to constantly be wiped. Water is even in the lights and Miele will not stand behind it. The repairman says we need a replacement refrigerator. One year old, 3 service calls and 10 year warranty. No support. When we go away we have to have someone come in and wipe up the water. DO NOT BUY MIELE! ***** ******* I am done with Miele and telling everyone I know to stay clear.

Miele has the worst customer service. We bought a new Miele dishwasher, had it installed and it didn’t work. Installers said it wasn’t getting water and was showing F78 which is the pump. I requested a new dishwasher but was told by Miele that in order to get a new one, a technician would have to come out first. I specifically asked for a Miele technician but was told they are all in training so they sent a technician from ******** *********. The technician came and said it’s the pump. He was on the phone to technical support for 30 minutes and said he couldn’t wait any longer and left. I called Miele and asked for a new dishwasher. Half an hour later I get a call from the manager saying he can’t give us a new dishwasher until a Miele technician looks at it. I asked him why they would send a technician that they didn’t trust in the first place. He said I guess the Miele techs were busy. Again I asked for a new dishwasher but he said he’s booked me an appointment with a Miele technician. He was **** *** very unsympathetic to the frustration we’ve experienced after spending almost $3000.00 on a new dishwasher that’s never worked!
