      We have been waiting for several months now for our refrigerator from ta appliances,tho we ordered the wrong one,should have been counter depth,they are insisting we pay a $495 restocking fee,in our opinion with this delay they should waive that fee and give a reasonable discount,when we ordered the proper one they said approximately 2-3 week delivery,as of July 28th 2023,they are still telling us at least another 3-4weeks,this is totally unacceptable

      This issue has been resolved with the sales rep and the customer and the fridge was exchanged. TA has no control over manufacturer production delays and we provide the most accurate and latest information that we receive from the manufacturer. Dates provided are always estimates and could be delayed

      I purchased a front load ********** washer and dryer from the Barrie TA
      appliance and had it delivered on June 10, 2023. As soon as I tried to use the washer it made a very loud noise. I immediately turned it off (it had only been running for less than five seconds when this occurred). I tried it again but had the same result. I checked to make sure that the shipping bolts had been removed which they had. I called the store and left a message but their followup was to forward the customer service number for **********. They recommended that we book with the authorized warranty appliance service in our area. This service was fully booked and is planning to get us in on a cancellation 18 days from the time the washer was delivered. I spoke with the store manager "Jason" and asked him to take the defective appliance that they delivered me back and to deliver me another one. He refused and told me to "give my warranty a read" which states that I need to go through **********. I am currently taking my laundry to a laundromat and paying for it while I have a brand new machine which I paid for that doesn't work.
      ***** ****** * THIS STORE DOES NOT STAND BY WHAT THEY SELL AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!!
      After explaining the situation to Customer Service at ********** they told me to take the washer back to the store! I informed them that the store refuses to take it back. Hoping to let others know to save them the aggravation we have been through and continue to experience

      The warranty is held by the manufacturer and all issues are handled through them. The warranty is always a repair warranty unless the manufacturer deems the unit not repairable. TA Appliance is usually able to assist customers by submitting a request to the manufacturer on the customer's behalf. If the customer wants to reach out to TA Appliance in Kitchener we will see what can do to assist them in getting the issue resolved.

      ***** ******** ******** I bought a BBQ on May 16 which went on sale. I contacted TA appliances on June 6 to use their price match guarantee that they have on their website. After several days of trying to contact them, I received an email from the salesperson that because they added a free appliance cleaning kit valued at $70 to my order, they will deduct that free gift and only reimburse me $30. Keep in mind, the appliance cleaning kit was a gift with purchase that I would not have bought regardless. I spoke with the General Manager of the Toronto location who brushed me off and told me to contact Head Office. I called Head Office on 3 different times and I was told someone would call me back.       This was resolved back in June with the consumer at the store level. Customer was refunded for the cleaning kit and the price match. If customer has any concerns please feel free to reach out to the Toronto store.

      Will consider legal counsel to resolve the issue

      I bought a $50 griddle for the BBQ. The teflon coating started to fail after two uses and looked 10 years old. I called less than a week later after the purchase I tried to return it and they said because I used it that the griddle could not be returned. There is no customer service or fair return policy at TA. I will be avoiding this store and going elsewhere in the future.
