Nothing like a Honda Ridgeline. Number 4 and I am as excited about this one as the others. Beautiful driving truck solid on the road. Have had it for a month now and love it more than when I bought it. Bought in Courtney, I got above expected service from sales finance and service. I would not consider buying anything other than a Honda. They have a service program that I bought up front. I’m excited about that offer and very excited to continue to drive a HONDA??????

I have had the strangest and most horrifying experience I would like to share.
This morning when I came to start my four month-old leased car, I noticed something was wrong and after I took it to the service centre of the dealership I was told that a rat has entered the engine of my car, chewed some wires, chewed my air filter, and opened a gateway through the air filter and entered my car only to eat the bread crumbs that my toddler left in the car!!!! The rat has then proceeded to sit in the glove box, eat the bread crumbs, and leave my car!!
I was presented with a $5000 bill to fix my car and no explanation as to how this could have happened. When I asked, I was told that we cannot control the nature and I completely understand that. What I don’t understand is how the car is built that a rat can simply chew its way inside my car. the technician kept telling me to call the manufacturer and check with them. I cannot comprehend how weak of an insulation my car must has that wildlife can easily enter inside my car. I cannot accept that this simply is how the cars are built because it is the first time ever that I have heard a rat can easily break in to a car.
The technician was very unhelpful, **** ***** and unsympathetic towards the horrible experience I’ve had. Who do I go to? Where do I take this complaint? There is no way I feel safe to take my toddler and 10-month-old into this car again. I live in a busy neighbourhood with a lot of houses and cars in Richmond Hill, and I drive my car every day and the fact that this happened and there is no one to answer to me is just not acceptable to me.
I don’t want to pay for these repairs, and I absolutely don’t feel safe in this car anymore.

Honda Canada has reviewed the rodent damage concerns.
As you may be aware, our obligation as the manufacturer, and stipulated in our warranty guide, states that any defects from manufacturing found within the respective warranty period and reported to an authorized Honda dealer in Canada, will be repaired at no cost.
Respectfully, at this point in time the authorized dealership has confirmed the concerns are non-warrantable defect. Page 20 of the warranty manual stipulates that no warranty shall cover damage.
Regrettably, Honda Canada will not honor warranty coverage, as the reported concern is not attributed to manufacturing defect.

We bought a used 2019 Odyssey, and within 6 months, the bcm was busted. It has been over FIVE MONTHS that this part has been out of stock. In the meantime, we have been stranded TWICE because the car turned on randomly after it was parked and we were totally unaware of it. After realizing this, we've resorted to manually disconnecting the battery every time it needs to be parked. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. To disconnect the battery, you need to manually open the driver's door, pop the hood, remove TWO parts, and then access the battery. It is a very involved process and is a very far cry from a 1-touch start. Honda Canada thinks that this is an acceptable process to endure though. I'd really like to see them deal with this in the dead of winter while hauling around 3 little kids. They're basically telling us we have to keep the car till the part becomes available (which there is no eta) or sell it back for a huge loss. It is completely ridiculous that we paid thousands of dollars for this dud of a car that we can't even get started normally... AND that Honda isn't even providing a way to get it repaired any time soon. I am beyond disappointed and am livid at the terrible way they treat customers.

My Ridgeline was recalled and can’t be fixed. I just spent over $2K to fix it and they are offering $4K. They said that they would review and potentially reimburse repairs in the last year, but it may take 8-12 weeks yet, they want me to sign a waiver for the book value stating the book value has nothing to do with the repair reimbursement. Also, I need to bring back the rental. So they can take their time, up to 12 weeks, yet I have 2 weeks to take their offer and find a new car. How *** **** are they allowed to treat customers like that? They should close this off by giving me the book value and repair costs.

I have CRV 2017, and I was shockedwith the way customer service team are dealing with people. They know nothing about how to deal with customers. Sales are so friendly and helpful till you buy and ask you for a review, but after that if you need anything from them, they act as if they have never met you before 😡 so frustrating Customer service is another lousy story that they don't give you any information when you have a problem with the vehicle. They are good only when you change the oil and filters but more than this big ziro I lost confidence in Honda
